I hesitate to be too dramatic, but, getting to spend the day with our private driver Giovanni Crispo was a dream come true. He took us to places only someone intimately familiar with the Amalfi coast could take us. We experienced things we never dreamed we would. His vast knowledge of the areas history just blew our minds. He took us the three major towns and Ravello where we were lucky enough to get to eat at Sigilgaida Ristorante. Five star generational chef (as in 5th generation”)! See separate review. At every stop and every town he showed what to spend our time on and where the best views could be found. The places we could find ceramics, olive oil, linens etc. He stopped at overlooks and roadside stands. We know more about the Amalfi coast than we ever thought we could and we will be eternally grateful. We will recommend him forever more ❤️❤️.

4 of us spent 4 fabulous days in Sorrento! Antonio drove us 3 of the 4 days. We loved him. Very good driver on the narrow curvy roads of the Amalfi Coast and very knowledgeable of the whole area. He suggested where to go and restaurants. All of his suggestions were spot on! He picked us up at the train station, took us to Ravello and Positano, and took us to Pompeii where Franco was the best private tour guide. When we ate at his friends’ restaurant, we were treated like royalty!! We were very happy with everything!!

Three couples spent a day with Antonio on the Amalfi coast with driver/guide Antonio. Everything was fantastic! Antonio was super knowledgeable and fun. This is the way to see the coast and its towns. If you use public transportation you will spend half your day waiting in bus lines. Can’t recommend Antonio enough. We will request him again on our next trip.

We lucked out and had Antonio as our driver. He gave us incredible information and insights into the area and culture of the coast. We made easy stops along the way for photos, even a stop at a grotto. We were so thankful to be the only guests at that moment of the beautiful emerald water. Antonio got to know us and offered many options, we chose to trust his idea and after the last village Ravello, we decided to head the other way towards Pompei to stop at a winery for lunch. It was delicious and very informative. We just loved our time on the beautiful Amalfi coast and our time with Antonio.

If I could give this more than five stars, I would, I could not say enough good about Vincenzo. He was absolutely amazing. Showed us many things we wouldn’t have seen on our own as tourist. He was very friendly and polite. Helped us take lots of amazing pictures took us to a wonderful Place for lunch that we would never have found on our own. I highly recommend this tour.

I cannot express my gratitude for the wonderful experience we had with our tour guide Antonio. He was very pleasant, pointed out many things of interest, and stopped several times for us to take pictures. We never felt rushed and he provided us with a lot of great recommendations for lunch spots. We never would have been able to navigate the Amalfi Coast on our own and would highly recommend taking this tour.

Our driver, Tony, did a great job. His driving is very serene which we loved. He stopped at overlooks so we could get great photos and I could fly my drone. His narrative was very informative and his command of English conversational. Our route covered Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello, where we had a marvelous lunch overlooking Minori and Maiori. The restaurant’s name is Salvatore Ravello. We had great weather - not hot, not rainy, not cold. And not too many tourists!!!

Just finished our tour with Gigi and it was amazing! I recommend it to everyone. He took the time to find out what we were interested in and planned the tour based on us! He even planned around the addition Easter holiday traffic to make our trip more beneficial! Not to mention he gives the best restaurant recommendations! I would give him 10 ⭐️ if I could!

Antonio drove us two days in a row - first to Pompei and Herculaneum, then along the Amalfi Coast with stops in Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello. We had an amazing experience and would wholeheartedly recommend booking with Antonio. He was entertaining, pleasant, highly knowledgeable of the history of both areas, and provided excellent lunch recommendations each day. He also offered insightful guidance on the optimal amount of time to spend in each destination, which helped us to have trips that perfectly balanced efficiency with thoroughness. Finally, Antonio offered us the opportunity to stop at several sites en route to our final destinations which further added to our experience - for example, we stopped at multiple scenic overlooks both days, a ceramics factory which was great for local gifts/souvenirs, and the emerald grotto. His expertise allowed us to have two highly enjoyable, stress-free days that went far smoother than we could have organized ourselves. Fully recommend booking with Antonio!!!

Our journey with Excursions & Transfers started with a pick up from Tony at the Naples train station. Such a wonderful guy and a pleasant ride to Sorrento. Following this my family and I spent 2 days touring with Vincenzo. We toured the Amalfi coast, Pompeii, and many surrounding areas. Each day filled with education of the areas, photo stops, shopping, beautiful views, and of course the best food & wine from local restaurants. We were then transported back to the Naples station by another gentleman named Vincenzo, who was just as wonderful as the first 2 men. Definitely made our trip unforgettable and made our travel time around the area Simple. He was incredible and every suggestion for meals and stops was spot on. Also took a ride from Naples hotel to our hotel near Sorrento- way easier than taxi, bus, train - traveled like a king. I booked a boat tour. Viator sent a driver for a car tour. Beautiful sunny day ruined. No refund from Viator. If you are looking to increase your patience and forbearance, this company is for you! If you are looking to get what you paid for, avoid!

Was more like a private taxi than a tour.. would have been cheaper to just crab a taxi to go from town to town.. Disappointing

Our driver tour guide Attilio was a perfect host. He navigated the extreme summer traffic with making it look easy. He had everything schedule and prepared as far parking which is a huge issue for the coast line to tailoring a great trip for all of us to enjoy. Super safe very clean and professional. 5 stars here as we will be back and seek him out.

Antonio was the perfect driver for us as we toured the Amalfi coast stopping at the beautiful towns. One of my goals was to purchase dishes. He knew exactly where to take us. The owner of the shop was extremely helpful and assisted in putting together the right combination of dishes and serving pieces. Another highlight was Antonio’s suggestion of visiting a family vineyard and restaurant where we had the most amazing food paired with their wines. I highly recommend this private car service. And ask for Antonio if you can !

We had the best rainy day ever with Enzo as our guide. He was very accommodating and the perfect gentlemen. We felt safe and relaxed in his care. We also really enjoyed his suggested stops along the way.

Our tour guide Antonini was terrific. Highly recommend him! We wouldn’t have been able to deal with all the traffic and people without him - and it was only April! He knew exactly what to do due to all the tourists and traffic delays. Positano is a tourist trap. Not impressed. Ravello was lovely and Amalfi’s main piazza is very nice. Ceramic factories were wonderful. Beautiful handmade ceramics that are expensive but worth it. Just expect a lot of people and traffic. Go with Antonio if you do go!

My daughter and I have never travelled to Italy before and decided what better way to see this beautiful place by booking a private tour and car. We were not disappointed at all, Vincezo was absolutely brilliant firstly excellent driver....definitely couldn't navigate the mountain roads and we didn't need to worry about parking. He was a wealth of information about every single thing...we learnt alot. We took our time at any stops we made and didn't feel rushed. If there was anything in particular we wanted to see or do Vincezo couldn't be more accommodating. Thoroughly enjoyed every moment and the views...absolutely breathtaking . Definitely would do it again.

Antonio was safe, friendly and reliable. He showed up ahead of time, took care of us, accommodated our requests and gave us a few tips to maximize our time in the three cities we visited. It may have been a bit pricier than the group tours available, but we had peace of mind that he was able to adjust to our schedule. We never felt rushed.

While in Sorrento, my family did two private tours. The first was to the Amalfi coast and the second was to Pompeii and winery tour. We had Attilio both days (a request on our end after the first day with him) and he was wonderful! He was very knowledgeable and was able answer any questions we had a long the way. Amalfi Coast was amazingly beautiful, Pompeii was incredible to see, and the winery tour was absolutely fantastic! We got to do a wine tasting and had a wonderful lunch with it. We would not have even known about the winery tour if it wasn’t for Attilio! We highly recommend any of these tours and thank Attilio for 2 memorable days!

Our driver picked us up at our hotel and we began the tour. He was very knowledgeable and spoke English very well. We had some extra time and he arranged a quick tour of an olive farm for us. Very professional and very friendly.

I could spend the whole day writing this review but will try to keep it short! We traveled to celebrate our wedding anniversary and it was such an amazing experience!!! We won’t be able to think about Sorrento and not remember our driver Antonio! Antonio was polite and always early. He was very friendly and always ready to happily answer all of our 1000s of questions about the area. We had the pleasure of having Antonio as our driver for 3 days; yes! We ended up booking a trip to Napoli and a trip to Pompeii, Vesuvius and winery!!! He truly was amazing and we could not have asked for a better driver. The private day tour with Vincenzo Librera was beyond our expectations. He was professional and fun at the same time. He was very safe driver which is a must- there was chaos all around yet he made the entire road trip pretty relaxing. Book through travel advisory, but do yourself a favor, request the best driver too!

The beauty of the Amalfi coast is a rare and stunning sight. Our driver took us to the town of Amalfi, and then to Ravello, and both were adorable. We asked if he would meet us back in Amalfi so that we could ride the ferry from Ravello to Amalfi, which was really fun! Overall, it was a wonderful day. Would give the tour 5 stars except for the fact that our driver could have made the tour even more meaningful by talking about the roads and sights.

Our guide Tony was exceptional, from the very start right until the end. He was kind, polite, and very sensitive to our time and needs. He gave us history, commentary, stories and enjoyable conversation! All of Tony’s suggestions of where to go were perfect and he waited while we explored a bit on our own. In Sorrento he suggested a restaurant that was not only delicious but the views were spectacular. I highly recommend using Viator and definitely ask for Tony to be your guide!!!

This was billed as a luxury private tour of the Amalfi coast in a private car with a English speaking guide. Unfortunately what I got: a driver who shows up about 1 hour late. Does not speak a word of English and no idea what we want or where to go. I Had to cancel and send the driver back. while the owner apologized and said he was short on drivers. it still screwed up what was a perfectkly arranged day as we scrambled to get alternatives. still waiting for a refund

We had a perfectly wonderful experience with our friendly, knowledgeable, expert driver Vincenzo. Driving anywhere in Italy is challenging, but along the Amalfi coast, with two way traffic on narrow winding roads and scooters cutting in and out, it is literally death defying. We were comfortable and confident with Vincenzo behind the wheel. He stopped at the best places for photos and pointed out sights of interest along the way, accompanied by background and historical details. I must say I thought the trip was going to be a disaster, I had arranged to meet Fabio via the Trustpilot App at 8am at the port at Sorrento because the cruise ship we were on was docking at 7am. The night before we were meeting Fabio, we received an announcement on the ship that only passengers who were on their trips (Tui trips) could leave the ship from 8am (we were having to travel to shore on a tender "small boat"). Anyone who had arranged their own trips had to meet at 9.30am on the ship to be allocated timeslots to shore thereafter. We arrived on shore at 10:10am and Fabio had left, I had tried to email the company the night before with the new information but it hadn't been seen. I contacted the main office via telephone and spoke with Giovanni who said to leave it with him. 10 minutes later Fabio turned up and instantly calmed me down. From that moment on we were being taken care of and had a trip of a lifetime. I would recommend using this company 100% Thank you Fabio and Giovanni for sorting out a potential disaster. Dave

Canceled with zero explanation the day before. No one reached out, no one mentioned anything. We had confirmed our pickup time and location two months in advance. They just canceled for no reason. Do not book.

Our driver and guide, Gianluca, was everything we could have hoped for! He was most knowledgeable of local cheeses, wines, restaurants, hotels, beaches, and views! Looking back, my only regret is that I failed to tip him enough!!

Booked this private taxi as I’m a nervous passenger and had obviously seen too many YouTube footage of the white knuckle rides on the Amalfi coast. I needn’t have worried, we had the most interesting, amazing and wonderful day travelling around this part of Italy and along the Amalfi coast. This was our first time visiting the Amalfi Coast and what a better way to start than a private tour. Feels like we’ve been here a week and it’s only be a day. Our family of four did this tour our first full day in Italy, and it was a great introduction to the Amalfi Coast. Our guide Andrea was punctual, professional, knowledgeable, and fun to hang out with. After he picked us up at the front door of our hotel, we discussed and agreed on an itinerary for the day. He then accommodated our numerous requests to stop and take pictures, and we spent way too much time at a ceramics store that we asked to add to the schedule. We apologized for messing up the itinerary, and he just laughed and said “You’re the boss!” After we added another stop to tour the emerald grotto, he helped us adjust the itinerary so we could still make it all the way to Ravello. We learned so much from Andrea, but it was through casual conversation, not through tour guide script. Very highly recommend and well worth the money for the private tour.
