We had the most incredible boat day around Capri, and it was all thanks to our skipper, Giovanni. From the moment we stepped on board, he went above and beyond to make sure we had an unforgettable experience. Giovanni showed us all of his favourite spots around the island, including some beautiful hidden gems we never would have found on our own. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always happy to help with anything we needed throughout the day. It was also our friend’s birthday, and Giovanni helped us celebrate in style. He recommended an amazing restaurant for lunch and even helped us secure a table straight away, making the whole day completely stress-free. Thank you, Giovanni, for your kindness, professionalism, and for making our day in Capri so special. We couldn’t have asked for a better skipper and would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Capri!

The White Grotto: realm of stalactites and stalagmites created over the millennia by the constant work of water.
The red cave: it is also called the Coral cave due to the red color of the coral that emerges on the surface of the walls of the formation.
The Natural Arch is a rock structure present, in the form of an arch, formed on the island of Capri, of natural origin, following exogenous and endogenous erosive processes that have affected the rocks. Stop for bathroom.
The symbol stacks of Capri are three rocky peaks located southeast of the island of the same name, famous all over the world thanks to the evocative and historic panoramic view offered by the gardens of Augustus. Stop for the bathroom and photos.
Marina Piccola is a locality known for the lively and sheltered bay of the same name on the Tyrrhenian Sea. From the lively terraces of the restaurants you can admire the view of the rock formations of the Faraglioni, while walking along the characteristic Via Krupp you reach the Gardens of Augustus. Stop to visit the island price for use of the main port for landing 100 euros, otherwise if you have lunch in a restaurant you can visit the island without a landing fee.
The Green Grotto: The water around the cave gives off a beautiful green colour, an effect caused by the reflection of light. swimming stop for snorkelling.
The Punta Carena lighthouse is the second largest in Italy in terms of lighting power (after Genoa), as well as being one of the oldest: it was lit for the first time in 1867. Going slowly down the road that starts from the Caprile area of Anacapri, you can admire the jagged coast that forms enchanting coves, the rich Mediterranean vegetation, the pine forest that overlooks the small bay, the rocky ridge where the "Grotte dei Caciocavalli" open and on which the Torre della Guardia stands imperiously.
The Blue Grotto: is bathed in a brilliant blue or emerald light. The quality and nature of the color within it is determined by its unique combination of depth, breadth, clarity of the water and source of the light. (The price of the blue cave is not included in the tour price.
Already in Roman times, patrician families used to spend long holiday periods on the Amalfi Coast in Marina del Cantone: a habit that has not been lost, given that the Nerano beach remains one of the favorite destinations of the inhabitants of the area who come here from end of March to end of October. Next to the main beach, easily accessible since the road practically reaches the sea, there is the beach of Recommone, which can be reached by an easy path, and the Bay of Leranto, where instead it is necessary to face a much more demanding route. .

Giuseppe was a wonderful skipper, informed us of everything we were looking at and was a good host. Lovely day in Capri. However… I booked through the TripAdvisor app and it did list some exclusions, but the exclusions ultimately equaled 400€ for port fees and gas. $460 more… The trip was already $650.00 so I was surprised by this amount and the exact amounts were not listed on the app nor through the confirmation email link. The owner also did not contact me until 8:40pm the night before leaving no room for cancellation if desired due to cost of the trip almost doubling. Caution - Just read the website additional information on this listing and not only the app because the price of this trip is VERY misleading.
Matteo was an excellent skipper. Friendly, knowledgeable, professional, made the experience that much better. We had a wonderful day on the water and had time to explore Capri.
Would not recommend this trip. Tour guides could not speak English properly. Beware of the fuel costs. The company demands you pay 100 euro for the skipper. Regardless of service. 300 euro for fuel and they demand cash. Did expect PayPal for payment. The fuel costs should be billed as part of the original payment. Not during the excursion. Frustrating and ruined the experience.
Gianluigi was a great tour and boat captain. Well worth the money. He showed us eat in Capri with a lovely view and showed us how to get around. He also gave us local recommendations for our next day trip to Sorrento as well. Thanks Gianluigi!!!
Genovese Gianluigi was amazing! He gave us all kinds of history and information that made the trip awesome! The boat was comfortable.
We had an amazing experience on this private boat cruise, especially under the direction of our Skipper Giuseppe, who is very nice and knowledgeable. I highly recommend them.
We booked a boat for 3 of us for the day and we had an amazing time! Our skipper was named guissepe and he was very nice. He took us thru the grottos and made us a reservation for lunch on capri! We were able to explore the island as well. He had various drink options and was very nice! Would recommend booking with this company! It was worth it! A must do!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing day on the water! Giuseppe and Pasquale were so friendly and skilled navigating the caves. Sadly the Blue Grotto was closed due to high water levels, but they took us to the other caves to give us as similar an experience as possible. While they don’t speak much English, they made sure we were well taken care of. They arranged a great lunch on Capri, gave us time to explore, and we ended with swimming and rock jumping near Positano. Truly unforgettable!
Grazie mille! The skipper Giuseppe and the sub-skipper were truly nice guys, kind, and made the boat trip really enjoyable. I checked other companies’ tours as well, but this one was the most reasonably priced, and the content was completely satisfying. The restaurant at the beach club you recommended was absolutely delicious, and we were able to enter the Blue Grotto without having to wait too long. Once again, thank you so much. See you again!
Trip was wonderful our captain was extremely courteous and kind. The charter was timely and all experiences including the restaurant recommendation for lunch was wonderful! Highly recommend and would go back to see Blue Grotto which was closed due to winds - but did not damper our trip. Other sites to see and enjoy!!!
Luca was our captain on the most beautiful boat trip of our lives. He was very informative about the area and made the experience exciting! Highly recommend the day trip to capri if you are staying in southern Italy!
First of, the boat pictured is NOT the boat used. Rather a much smaller version of an Allegro without a cabin(as advertised-falsely) second, the skipper did not speak English and did not offer snacks, etc. We were given the option to have lunch in Capri but it would cost Euro100.00 to tie up at the pier in cash to the skipper before arrival. Once we got to Capri, we did not tie up but rather had to transfer to a small dinghy in very choppy water. Restaurant was classy looking but our food was not good plus very expensive. We were told to take a taxi to town center to look around but be back by 3:00. Town center was so crowded that one could barely move. Lines for taxis were huge. Overall an overpriced and falsely advertised experience. Topping it of, the skipper asked to be tipped 15 percent..
Gianluigi was an excellent skipper and tour guide. We got to see a lot of the caves around the Positano coast and Capri and he explained the history of each one. The pickup in the morning was a little hectic because at first my wife and I didn't have cell service to use whatsapp so we couldn't get in touch with him, but I was able to get wifi and talk to him to coordinate and then it was smooth sailing (literally!) from there!
tour operator never should up at the correct pier, we called tree times and they said they would be were the oceania riveria was docked, Want a refund
The boat was much smaller than what is shown in the picture. Skipper made a reservation at a restaurant implying that it was in Port of capri but it was not, so we wasted multiple hours eating a terrible lunch and waiting for water taxi to capri. We had very little time in Capri and was not able to do or see much at all. It is not worth the money and I feel I was taken advantage of.
My mother and I had so much fun. Such a luxurious experience on a stunning boat with 2 amazing skippers. We saw stunning mountains and caves and visited capri for a few hours. Ate at a restaurant aswell which is famous in capri. Everything is included in this tour you get a bottle of lemon cello and Prosecco we got so drunk and had so much fun. They also give you a snack box which is plenty until you get to capri. Only 2 things not included is the lunch you eat at the restaurant but it doesn’t matter because it was so delicious and the 100 euro port fee which I honestly have no complaint about. So accommodating and soooo fun!!! I have no complaints at all what an amazing day we had.
A tour guide can make or break an experience. Our guide and skipper Catello barely spoke any English, requiring him to communicate with us via translating sentences on his phone for basic instructions. Consequently we didn’t get the experience of him pointing out places for us along the way or once at the island of Capri. We had to ask him multiple ways to make a stop so we could jump in the water to cool off. The tour specifies we would be offered Prosecco, soda, towels and snorkeling gear - none of which was offered to us. We had to ask for water, so we got exactly 2 bottles, after asking for 2 bottles of water. We felt pressured by the owner of the company (who called us the night prior to confirm plans) to eat at a restaurant they wanted to make a reservation for us, which we conceded to, thinking it would add to our experience on the island. We were told in advance that we’d have to pay 100 euros to dock the boat so we could get off on to Capri and tour the island, however once we got to the island we never did dock, instead waited for a water taxi to pick us up….so we sat in the scorching heat, bobbing on the water, with no instructions on what to expect next. We never did dock, instead he quickly pulled up to the dock, allowed us to jump off and pulled away so as to not have to pay the docking fee. Yet at the end of the tour he asked for the 100 euros. He was late to arrive to pick us up, and kept messaging us while we were on Capri - allowing for only an hour on the island, so he could hurry us back an hour earlier than when the trip was scheduled to end. Overall getting to see Capri, albeit for a very short window - was wonderful and we did make memories, but at the risk of repeating myself - a tour guide can make or break an experience.
All the things mentioned you get to go to you dont actually go to. Our boat picked us up, we went to one small save nowhere near Capri. Then were dropped off at Capri for lunch. Then docked somewhere on the side of Capri and swam around then were sent back. Didnt see any of the grottos , werent offered snorkeling equipment. We didnt have a bad time but for the cost and the advertisement of what we got to do. It was not worth it at all
Outstanding experience- took our 17 year old. Went I swimming, cave exploring , and lunch and shopping on Capri. Our skipper was excellent and took amazing care of us!
Great experience! Water was a bit choppy but Bruno kept us safe! They also booked us a resy in Capri , food was great! Would highly recommend.
We had a wonderful day on the boat. Manuelle was our captain and was very accommodating. He made us reservations at a restaurant in Capri on the water. It was a wonderful day.
Very friendly crew, they were so kind to our son and even let him drive the boat! Our son wasn't feeling well at the end of our trip (sun and long travel days) and the skipper messaged us later in the day to check up on him, really nice people. Boat was very clean and spacious, beautiful scenery and an overall wonderful experience. Book them!
This was definitely the highlight of our recent trip to the Amalfi Coast!! Gianluigi designed the perfect day for us, and he was such a wonderful and accommodating host. Our family of four adults were so comfortable on his spacious and immaculate boat. We enjoyed prosecco while exploring the coastline and several grottos. Seeing the Blue Grotto was on my bucket list but it isn't always possible due to the long lines and rough water conditions, at times. Gianluigi made it happen for us and I couldn't be more grateful. The trip to Capri was beautiful and Gianluigi made lunch reservations for us at a restaurant on Capri where they pick you up in a boat and serve you fresh fish that was caught that morning. It was delicious! I was able to communicate to Gianluigi via What's App very easily and he was extremely responsive. He also took and shared with me the most amazing photos - he could be a professional photographer in addition to a phenomenal boat captain! I would highly recommend this trip to anyone who comes to the Amalfi Coast!! Incredible and worth every penny!
This expensive experience did not meet our expectations. From the start, the owner of the company was asking us to cancel and re-book with him directly for a €50 savings, which set the tone for a company that is trying to cut corners and save a buck. The boat was not as nice as what’s shown in the photo. Our skipper didn’t speak English so we were handing a phone back and forth to translate while the boat was bobbing along the water. He did offer us a bottle of Prosecco, but it was low quality and overly sweet (to our taste). They advertise snacks and snorkeling — neither were offered. They asked in advance if we’d like them to make a lunch reservation for us in Capri, which sounded nice, but accepting their offer meant we went to a place only accessible by the restaurant’s boat. It was a fine restaurant, but the back and forth on the boat and then another boat to the main marina of Capri meant we lost about 30-40 mins of time to actually explore Capri. We only had 1h30m on the island. Not enough! The skipper said the seas were too rough to visit the famous blue grotto, but when we got to Capri, they were selling boat tours to the blue grotto from the marina. Of course, when I asked, they said it was open. I’m giving it 3 stars instead of 1 because we still enjoyed being on the sea and seeing some of the beautiful sites. We had the boat to ourselves. There was at least a cold Peroni beer in the cooler. The skipper was a friendly enough guy, doing his best, but this organization was schlocky and made us feel kinda ripped off. Viator should remove this guy from their site. He’s ripping you off, too.
Great sights on the water! Recommend doing lunch at Bagni Tiberio and take the boat over to Marina in Capri
Amazing day trip!! Gianluigi is the perfect host. A must do if you come to the Amalfi Coast. From the moment he met us at the port in Positano he made us feel at home. His boat is immaculate. We had lovely limoncello drinks as we sailed through the different caves. The trip to Capri was lovely and he really was with us helping us at every step of the journey. I would recommend it to anyone who comes to the Coast.
A must do experience! Our guide (Gianlugi) was friendly and the boat was comfortable. He also gave good recommendations for Capri!
Unfortunately, the weather was not desirable for the day of our trip. The clouds and light rain created heavy waves on the water. The blue grotto was not available due to the weather. Our boat captain did a wonderful job of making us comfortable and ensuring we were able to see everything we wanted to see. he managed the water with expertise, and we felt very safe during the trip.
Best experience ever! The boat was amazing, got to make a lot of stops, and it was such an unforgettable experience! It’s a must if in positano! Would recommend and do it again in a heartbeat!
Gianluigi was our guide and he did an amazing job showing us around the coast. Highly recommend this experience!
Gianluigi was the best skipper in all of Positano! Everything was wonderful. He took us to all the caves in Capri and took us to places to swim. He also recommended a lunch spot which was amazing! He also shared with us some of his homemade limoncello which we loved. Thank you for everything!
Giuseppe is the sweetest and friendliest tour guide / skipper we’ve been with . He sent a text reminder the day before and morning of the tour . He was flexible with what we wanted to do and was great with our young kids . His nice mannerisms was what made the big difference. He didn’t make us feel rushed , or forced to do anything. He was easygoing and genuinely wanted us to have a good time .
The company cancelled our boat tour due to foul weather and as we were unable to reschedule within our holiday period, they processed a full refund without being asked. Whist this was a disappointment, I applaud their commitment to professionalism and safety over profit. Brava We will definitely recommend them to our friends and will use them when we return. Ciao bello🙂
My family and I booked this trip and had the time of our lives. That day on the water was our favorite day of our 10-day Italy vacation. Our captain Francesco was top-notch found us quickly on the dock in Positano and took us to every great spot to see the grottos, swim, and then have a beautiful lunch on the water with a beach next door to enjoy. You could also go into town as we had 3 hours to explore. He also maneuvered the boat so that we got to see some great caves and was an excellent driver. I would highly recommend and would do this tour again when we return! My husband and Francesco the captain were the bromance this vacation needed!
Loved visiting the grottos and travelling around the island on the boat was a amazing way to see capri
Our skipper Marco was wonderful. We had such a great time on our day trip to Capri, anchoring, diving into the Mediterranean, going through grottos, all while listening to our own music playlist, eating snacks and drinking prosecco. One of the best days of our lives. Thank you Marco, for making the day one we'll never forget.
Gianluigi helped us to create a very special day and one we wont ever forget! I had booked this boat trip as a surprise for my partners 30th birthday, I also asked if it was possible for a proposal whilst on the boat. Gianluigi couldn't have been more helpful, he helped me to choose the perfect spot (faraglioni of Capri), play my partners favourite song, book a table at the restaurant at marina piccola and even manage to snap some pictures of the special moment. In between all the excitement he also provided a very informative and interesting tour, thanks again!
It was an awesome trip. Our guide, Marco, was such an awesome driver and guide. When we want to swim he found a calm area and stopped for us. It was an awesome day!
Ulderico was amazing !! Easy communication took us to all the Key landmarks and to top this off with an amazing restaurant on Capri island. The highlight was swimming through the green grotto and being picked up on the other side by the boat. Prosecco, limoncello, snacks, water everything was thought of and on the boat. Andrew and Tiffany
