Vinny was our driver for three days. He picked us up from train on day one to Sorrento. Day two was full day Amalfi coast and day three was pompeii and Winery. We gained a new family member ❤️. You won't be disappointed with Vinny! This kid made our trip!

Vincenzo was an amazing guide who made our tour much more enjoyable. On both the ride there and back, he was personable, funny, and provided lots of information about the sights around us. We stopped and took a lovely picture together, and he bought us lemon drinks which was very kind. On the way back we had a great session of carpool karaoke. We have not felt a connection with any other tour guide like we did with Vincenzo. It was a great experience and we would highly recommend.

Every once in a while life collides you with a true and genuine soul. Like an Amalfi sunrise, stepping off the plane in Naples and meeting Vinny felt like a warm embrace for our entire family. Vinny stayed with us as a driver the entire week in Amalfi. He was kind, funny, informative and always on time. Vinny felt like a part of the family. Like olive oil with bread or wine with fresh pasta, Vinny was the prefect accompaniment to the perfect trip to Amalfi. The Dulce Vita, it truly is with Vinny behind the wheel.

My family and I visited Europe in August. Vincenzo was our driver, we thought he was going to simply bring us to and from our destination. He was more of a tour guide and hands down the best one we had! Right from the start he greeted us warmly and with enthusiasm. He engaged us in conversation. My three teenage children were with us and they were all talking with him. Vincenzo connected with our family right away. He brought us to Pompeii where we met our personal tour guide, Gianluca. He was outstanding! Vincenzo met us after our tour and the next stop was going to be the top of mount Vesuvius. It was over 100 degrees that day. Vincenzo offered us some other options because the 800 foot climb to the top may be difficult in the heat. We were so grateful that he was coming considering our comfort and health. He drove us to the highest point that can be reached by cars. He stopped along the way and took some beautiful pictures of our family. He then took us to a winery at the foothills of mount Vesuvius. This ended us being the best part of our vacation. We tourney the vineyard while sample probably the best wine I’ve ever had. We were served the most delicious Italian cuisine and wine. We had a view on one side and the sea on the other side. We are so grateful for Vincenzo’s hospitality. He was truly the best and we will remember this experience for ever. I highly recommend!!!!

We had a great experience with Vinny as our private driver from Ravello to Sorrento. He stopped with us in Amalfi and Positano along the way, which made the drive much more enjoyable and gave us a chance to see more of the coast. Vinny was very friendly, courteous, and especially thoughtful about the members of our group who get motion sick on the winding roads. He was also very knowledgeable about the history of the Amalfi Coast and was happy to answer any questions we had during the drive. Overall, we really enjoyed our time with him and would definitely recommend Vinny to anyone looking for a friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating driver in the area.

We booked a Van service from Rome to Sorrento. Vinny our driver showed up on time with a shiny Mercedes Van. The van was very clean and spacious. Vinny was a professional tour guide with lots of information about the area. I highly recommend this car service with Vinny. Make sure to book with Vinny as your driver/tour guide. Excellent Service. This was a great experience. Our driver Vinny was a wonderful person to be around. A great person and a great driver. Our whole family felt like we had a strong connection with him and almost like he was apart of our family.

I had an amazing time with my family touring all of Italy. Florence, Rome, and Positano/ Almalfi coast. While we had great drivers and guides throughout the entire trip, none were better than Umberto Limos Positano. We were picked up in Rome by our amazing driver Vincenzo “AKA Vinny.” He transported my family and I from Rome to Pompeii. On the way we had amazing and welcoming conversations with Vinny. He was an amazing driver, great in conversation and very personable. We shared conversations about America vs. Italy, and even introduced Vinny to American country music, which is a genre he already loved. He made the 2 and 1/2 drive to Naples fly by while we jammed to country music over great conversation. After dropping us off at our hotel, we said goodbye to Vinny, sadly thinking it would be our last time seeing him. The following day he picked us up and transported us to our hike of The Path of the Gods on the Almalfi coast, we couldn’t have been more excited to see him again. After a wonderful scenic hike we invited Vinny to lunch with the family and had an amazing time. My family and I were privileged to share amazing experiences and memories on the Almalfi coast all thanks to Umberto Limos Positano. 5/5 would recommend to anyone traveling to the Almalfi coast.

Vinnie!! From the moment Vinnie picked us up at our hotel in Amalfi, he made us feel so welcome. He was genuinely kind, friendly, and easy to talk to, and you could immediately tell that his biggest priority was making sure we were comfortable and having the best experience possible. Driving the Amalfi Coast is no joke, but he handled those roads better than anyone else we saw during our trip. We felt completely safe the entire time, which let us relax and enjoy the incredible views. The van was spotless, super comfortable, and the AC was ice cold—which was amazing after being out in the heat. What really made Vinnie stand out was how much he truly cared. He wasn't just there to drive us from one place to another—he genuinely wanted to get to know us and make sure we had the best time possible. On our drive to Pompeii, we mentioned that we were planning to buy tickets and hopefully find a guide once we arrived- but without hesitation Vinnie took care of everything and connected us with the most incredible guide. That tour ended up being one of the highlights of our entire trip and was so much better than anything we could have planned ourselves. Vinnie has a real passion for creating an amazing customer experience, and it shows in everything he does. He goes above and beyond because he genuinely cares, and that's something you don't come across every day. He is an absolute gem, and we honestly wish we could have had him with us for every transfer throughout our vacation. If you're lucky enough to have Vinnie as your driver, you're in the best hands. There are many ways to see the Amalfi Coast, but the right guide can turn a beautiful trip into a once-in-a-lifetime experience. For us, that guide was Nico, affectionately known as “Niconcello.” What began as a one-day tour turned into three days because we didn’t want to explore the Amalfi Coast with anyone else. From the moment we met him, his effortless Italian style set the tone. What stood out most was how quickly he understood us, tailoring each day to our interests instead of following a script. Some of our favorite moments came from unexpected stops, like a local meat and cheese shop where we sampled regional mozzarella, cured meats, and wonderful Italian wine. He also steered us toward authentic local artisans and family-run shops instead of tourist traps, which made all the difference. Nico’s knowledge of the Amalfi Coast, its history, culture, and hidden gems was exceptional. He was thoughtful, punctual, and made every stop feel personal. Despite the winding coastal roads, he drove with remarkable skill and confidence, allowing us to relax and simply enjoy every moment. A special thank you to Umberto at Umberto Limos Positano, who was an absolute pleasure to work with. He was incredibly accommodating, responsive to every question, and made planning our trip effortless from start to finish. The Amalfi Coast is breathtaking, but the people you experience it with are what make it unforgettable. Nico didn’t just show us the Amalfi Coast. He showed us the true meaning of La Dolce Vita, and for that we will always be grateful. We hope everyone who visits is lucky enough to find their own Niconcello.

Our driver, Vincenzo, was excellent 👍. We enjoyed our trip very much and it was great the hear the details of the area from Vincenzo. He was a great communicator - we had a fun time trading slang in our native languages too 😊. I wish this young man a wonderful, wonderful future!

This was my favorite part of our Italian trip! Giuseppe, our driver, was absolutely fantastic! He made the ride enjoyable and informative. Had my family laughing the whole drive! Even though we were on a schedule (fabulous winery-Reale Osteria and tour of Pompeii- Maria our guide was another wonderful addition) he made us feel like the schedule was up to us. Worth every penny and would recommend to anyone traveling to Italy.

Hotel Belair helped us book a full day private tour (Pompeii + Ercolano + lunch & wine tour at Cantina Del Vesuvio with private car and driver) and we had the BEST day. Our driver, Vincenzo (Vinny) was the not only outgoing, funny, and welcoming; but energetic. He made our entire day. He also loves American country music. Our private tour guides at Pompeii (Fabrizio) and Ercolano (Maria Theresa) were so knowledgable. Each tour was about 1.5 hours (plenty of time, especially in the summer months). Lunch at Cantina Del Vesuvio after was fabulous, and we ordered plenty of wine :) I would recommend this day to anyone who is looking for a private driver (ask for Vinny!!) with a day of touring the ruins and a relaxing lunch. What an amazing part of our trip! Salvatore was not just our driver from A to B, but an incredible resource of Italian history and Amalfi coast lore. The roads can be crazy with busses and scooters, and having Salvatore driving us made the Amalfi Coast Tour relaxed and comfortable. Excellent, clean vehicles, expert driving and navigating skills, but also a lovely person to know in Italy. We liked him so much, we requested him for every excursion and will be sad to say goodbye!
