We thoroughly enjoyed our private car excursion along the beautiful Amalfi Coast! Our driver, Aaron, was absolutely wonderful—courteous, personable, fun, and an excellent driver. He navigated the narrow, winding roads and heavy traffic with ease and made us feel comfortable throughout the day. He also stopped at several scenic overlooks so we could admire the breathtaking coastline and take photos. He even took some wonderful pictures of us that we will treasure. One of the reasons we chose this company was the flexibility to customize our itinerary, which we really appreciated. My only disappointment was the limited time we had to explore the towns. Based on the tour description, I had anticipated approximately two hours at each stop. However, with the driving distances and considerable traffic, even in October, that wasn’t realistic during our eight-hour excursion. We spent about an hour and 15 minutes in Positano, which was beautiful, but I would have loved more time to wander through the streets and shop. . We chose to drive through Amalfi without stopping so we could spend more time in Ravello. There, we enjoyed a lovely lunch, visited one of the beautiful gardens, had gelato, and browsed a few shops. I only wish we’d had more time to explore! Aaron was very accommodating and explained how spending additional time in one town would affect our time elsewhere. Looking back, I wish we had arranged to extend our tour by an additional hour. Overall, this was a wonderful introduction to the Amalfi Coast! The scenery was spectacular, and Aaron truly made the day special. My advice to anyone booking this excursion would be to consider adding an extra hour or two if you enjoy leisurely exploring, shopping, and sightseeing. We would definitely recommend this company, and if you’re fortunate enough to have Aaron as your driver, you’re in excellent hands!

We had the pleasure of spending Sunday with Aaron on our Amalfi Coast drive, and he made the day. Personable and funny from the first minute, while sharing so much knowledge about the coast — the history, the towns, the little stories you'd never get on your own. What stood out most was how considerate and accommodating he was. He adjusted the pace and stops to suit us, never rushed us, and made sure we were comfortable the entire day. We did the private tour on 24th October 2026. We started in Sorrento and went along the Amalfi coast and visited three villages along the way. Our driver was Lello who was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. He shared loads of local knowledge and history with us, was very flexible in terms of how and when we did things and was a very good driver. The latter is essential given the tight winding roads of this coastline. Overall the tour is expensive, but drivers like Lello make it worthwhile and he is a credit to his company. Would definitely recommend this tour and try and request Lello if you can.

We booked a private tour of the Amalfi Coast, directly with Vittorio at Rosato Tours, in Sorrento, easy to book, Vittorio was so helpful sorting out what we wanted to achieve from our experience, and made it happen! This was a wonderful trip. Our driver and tour guide was Aaron. He was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and an all around great person. It was obvious he enjoyed what he did and took great pride in knowing we were in a special place. Throughout the tour he consistently asked if we had any questions or wanted to see anything specific beyond what he was so expertly showing. We had a fantastic time touring the amalfi coast starting from Sorrento. Our driver, Michele (Mike), was a local who was very knowledgeable about the towns along the coast and was very talkative and easy going. We learned a lot about each spot we stopped by and Mike provided us with recommendations on food, drinks, and how to navigate the busy, narrow areas on foot. He knew of great spots to take photos at and quiet areas away from crowds to see the coastline. He knew the roads and other locals so our experience was as smooth as can be. Overall an extremely great and fulfilling time having him guide us around the amalfi coast and would 100% recommend.

We had the perfect leisurely day at sea! The crew was amazing and accommodated all of our requests, while sharing so much interesting information about the area. We had an absolutely wonderful day with Aaron traveling the Amalfi Coast! From the moment he picked us up from the hotel until he dropped us off, he kept us both informed and entertained and by the end of the day we felt like we'd made a new friend. This was a fantastic tour. The pace was wonderful and the stops were beautiful and manageable. Michele is incredibly knowledgeable about the areas he takes you, tells you all the ins and outs to avoid tourist traps, and offers incredible suggestions for local food. He was also incredibly kind and helped us celebrate our honeymoon! I cannot recommend the tour enough and encourage all those who want to effectively see the Amalfi coast to use this company.

Wonderful tour along the coast. Our driver Nunzio was fantastic. Discussed the history of the region. In addition to the usual places along the coast, he also took us to a village and restaurant most tourists don’t go to.

Our driver Michele was very professional, knowledgeable, and was a very safe driver. The van was very comfortable for four adults. Michele was a wealth of information about the Amalfi Coast. He also knew places to pull off for beautiful scenic views and picture opportunities. He then booked a lunch at a fantastic restaurant in Ravello. We all had a wonderful time.

We were in Sorrento for our granddaughters wedding and decided we wanted a tour of the Amalfi coast. We were so fortunate it have Ciro as our driver who picked us up at the home we were staying in for the week. He was very knowledgeable of the area and shared that with us as we toured Positano, Amalfi and Ravello. He stopped many times for pictures of the various towns sharing the history and beauty. He made this such a beautiful experience for us and I would highly recommend him and Rosato to everyone.

We would highly recommend this way to explore the Amalfi coast. Private van, no waiting on others or crowded bus. We enjoyed our time in the van with Guiseppe, he was full of information and a great driver. Each place we stopped was easy to access the sites and enjoy them on our own.

We had an incredible private tour from Positano to Ravello, with a stop in Amalfi, and Mike made the whole experience so special! He was warm, friendly, and spoke excellent English, sharing fascinating history along the way and stopping at beautiful spots to take photos of us. Not to mention the fact that we got to ride in a Tesla that had a window as the roof and were able to see views from all angles. He also arranged a wonderful lunch reservation with a stunning view and the perfect table—the food was delicious! We loved that he showed us the must-see sights while also giving us plenty of time to explore on our own. What a FANTASTIC day today touring with Michele from Rosato tours. Here’s what I sent to our travel agent when she asked for our feedback: Yes, anyone you send here should ask for Michele (Michael) for the Amalfi day trip. Sorento is his home and he shared so much fun and interesting information as we made our way from Sorento all the way up to Ravello. And I was more than happy NOT to be driving those narrow, windy roads. He was the consummate professional and made sure we saw 3-4 local things we would have missed without his guidance. Years of joy and gratitude were shared over lunch as we ate with a view of the mountains and Mediterranean.

This is the best way to do the Amalfi Coast! Having someone who knows the area is so important! Our driver, Viccenzo, was great! He knows the area and the traffic! He kept us out of gridlock by suggesting we go to Ravello first then back to Amalfi. The Amalfi area is busy and gets busier as the day progresses. It gave us more time to admire the beauty and not sit in traffic. He also had some great stories, great information about the area and some cooking tips added in!! We stayed in Sorrento so that was our start and stop point. It was nice because we got to enjoy a good part of the Amalfi Coast highway - so beautiful. And, having your own driver, you can leave your shopping treasures in the vehicle while you explore. He also picks up and drops off at key locations so no stress about how to get around! Amazing experience, definitely recommend! Our driver/tour guide, Lello, was great! He was very patient the entire day and never seemed rushed. We had a coastal boat tour planned the next day, so he helped to adjust our schedule to maximize our experiences. We also felt very safe with his driving skills.

We took a private tour of the Amalfi Coast including Positano, Amalfi and Ravello. Our driver Giuseppe was amazing! He grew up locally and shared some of his childhood memories with us. His knowledge of the area is extensive. Giuseppe explained the history, culture and agriculture of the area in a very engaging, interesting manner. We were celebrating my husband's 70th birthday and he made us a lunch reservation at a restaurant with a beautiful view, great pizza and wine which we will never forget! The owner brought a complimentary glass with birthday wishes at the end. At each stop, Giuseppe gave us clear instructions to visit the sights and where and when to meet to continue the tour. He stopped at several locations for us to get great photos! Giuseppe is an excellent driver and guide and we highly recommend him for this private tour of the Amalfi Coast!

This was truly one of the best experiences we’ve ever had. We were staying in Sorrento and wanted to do a tour to Amalfi & Ravello and came across this company and my goodness, we had a blast! Our driver, Vittorio was so kind and funny and knew so many things that we wouldn’t have even known if we explored on our own. We had an excellent experience with Rosato Private Tours during our stay in the Sorrento and Naples area. We used them several times, and every driver was professional, friendly, reliable, and accommodating. Our first experience really showed us the level of service they provide. Our train was delayed, which threatened to derail our plans to visit Pompeii that day. Giuseppe was incredibly flexible and changed our pickup location from Naples to the Afragola train station. By meeting us there instead, he saved us valuable time and made it possible for us to still enjoy our visit to Pompeii. We really appreciated his willingness to adjust our plans on short notice. We also booked Rosato for a full-day tour of the Amalfi Coast from our Airbnb in Sorrento. Our driver, Aronne, took us to Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello, and he made the day much more than simply a drive between three beautiful towns. Throughout the tour, Aronne shared a great deal about the history of the area, the local culture, and the places we were passing along the way. His knowledge and commentary gave us a much better appreciation for the Amalfi Coast and the communities we were visiting. He also gave us excellent recommendations about what to see, where to go, and how best to spend our time in each town. His suggestions helped us make the most of our limited time in Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello. It was a wonderful way to experience the coast without having to worry about driving, parking, or navigating the winding coastal roads. We were able to relax, enjoy the spectacular scenery, and learn quite a bit about the area along the way. Finally, Gianluca drove us from Sorrento to the Naples train station on our last day. Traffic leaving Sorrento and entering Naples was extremely heavy, but he handled it expertly while remaining friendly and relaxed. Along the way, he pointed out sights and shared information about the area, turning what could have been a stressful transfer into an enjoyable final tour. Rosato Private Tours was dependable, flexible, professional, and genuinely friendly throughout our trip. We would absolutely use them again and highly recommend them to anyone visiting Naples, Pompeii, Sorrento, or the Amalfi Coast.
