Our visit to Pompeii was absolutely fascinating, but what truly made the experience unforgettable was our exceptional guide, Frankie! Frankie did so much more than simply walk us through the ruins and explain their history\. He brought ancient Pompeii to life! Through fascinating details, colorful anecdotes, and vivid storytelling, he helped us imagine what everyday life was like for the people who once lived, worked, and played in this remarkable city. He also conveyed the human side of the devastating eruption of Mount Vesuvius, making the tragedy feel incredibly real and personal. What truly sets Frankie apart is not just his extraordinary knowledge, but his unique gift for presenting it. He is equal parts historian, educator, storyteller, and performer. His enthusiasm is contagious, his humor perfectly timed, and his wonderfully quirky personality makes the entire experience as entertaining as it is educational. We have experienced many guided tours during our travels, and Frankie truly stands out as one of the best! If you are visiting Pompeii, you couldn’t ask for a better guide! Good Tour! Franki the tour guide was informative and hilarious. He made the whole trip fun and was very knowledgeable about the whole area following the eruption of Vesuvius and the history and the excavation of the city itself. It was a smaller group of 10-12 people so manageable and transportation to and from our hotel was on time and comfortable.

This tour was very interesting. Our guide Sasa was great! He gave us so much insight on the Roman influence and what living in Pompeii was like. He was like a living history book! I’m a retired teacher and used to teach my students about Mt Vesuvius and Pompeii and have always wanted to see it. It FAR outreached my expectations! It truly was an unforgettable experience. Our Pompei tour guide Salvatore was really good. He was entertaining, easy to understand, and provided many educational history details. Our tour coordinator changed our pickup point and time via text one hour before our scheduled pickup time. We didn’t see his text until 5 minutes before the new pickup time. When I called him to explain we did not see the text and were still at the scheduled pickup point he was very rude.

The tour was great. Frankie was a great guide. He kept us entertained, walked slow enough everyone could keep up, and was full of interesting information.

Pompeii was amazing!!! Our tour guide was amazing!!! Make sure you wear comfortable supportive shoes/sneakers. You are walking on rock, not just cobblestone. The rock is uneven, and very challenging to walk on...no joke! That being said, it was well worth the effort. Don't miss this tour!

There was a miscommunication in the beginning about start time and we missed our tour departure. Manager was a bit rude at first, but made things right by scheduling us on the next tour with Angelo, and he was the best tour guide!! He really knows the sites and the best way to view them. He was very nice and moved us along in a relaxing way, not rushing us from one spot to another. Almost happy that we missed our initial start time. I recommend this tour. Just double & triple check the meeting spot & time!!

It was a tricky day in Sorrento to get to Pompeii for our visit after thunderstorms and flash floods the night before. However, Enjoy Pompeii could not have been more accomodating, switching from a driver to train, paying for our tickets and refreshments - just superb. Communication was second to none. Our driver was amazing and updated up with traffic continually.Thank you! Our original time of an 11am tour eventually became 3pm but could not have worked out better in the end. Less people, more time to view the beauty of Pompeii. Our tour guide Angelo was amazing. So knowledgeable not just about Pompeii but Mount Vesuvius also. He was amazing. So attentive to everyone in the group, constantly asking if we had questions and answering them! We are now all “Angelos Friends!” To have a guide who has so much knowledge as the best. Grazie Angelo!

Our guide Frankie was excellent. Shared so may interesting facts and stimulated our imaginations along the way- imagining life in Pompei 2000 years ago. He was humorous engaging and informative. Great guide!! There was a disconnect between Viator and the tour provider in meeting point location due to our residence not being accessible. It worked out but was not well handled by Viator or the provider. Nevertheless, we figured it out and had a great experience- largely due to Frankie!!

Our tour guide was Frankie. He was a hoot as he kept saying "follow Frankie" in a sing-song manner every time we started walking. Pompeii was great. It was amazing how big the site was and how preserved the buildings were. We spent about 2 hours seeing stuff. Just a note: it was hot and there is a good amount of walking.

Soooo worth it. A driver picked us up from the hotel where we met with our guide. Our guide Sasa was super knowledgeable and passionate. He brought us to all the major highlights with ease (including the recently reopened Vetti house) and had a great personality. It was about 3hr inside and if you don’t go with a driver you can stay even longer.

Good experience! Pompeii is too big to cover it all so this tours covers enough to know the best parts of it . If going in the hot weather opt for the morning slots , it gets incredibly hot . The transportation had AC which was great
