It was the most amazing experience we have had. Sergio welcomed us so warmly into his home. We enjoyed some of his homemade wine while sitting at his outside bar overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea. Then into his kitchen we went. We laughed and talked as Sergio worked his magic. We all joined in as he so skillfully taught us how to make the most delicious 5 course meal. The food was so outstanding. I highly recommend Sergio’s Home Experience.

We had the pleasure of cooking with Sergio at his house. He was a wonderful host and the food was absolutely amazing. I would HIGHLY recommend this one of a kind experience in Praiano. I will be dreaming about this meal for a long time!!!

A very special meal and experience for us! Compared to our meals at other restaurants during our trip, this was a great value and the amount of food was generous. If you're looking for a truly authentic Italian experience, this is it. From the moment we arrived, we felt like welcomed guests rather than customers. Sergio's beautiful home offered breathtaking sunset views that set the perfect backdrop for an evening of cooking, conversation, and incredible food. What impressed us most was Sergio's depth of knowledge. He didn't just teach recipes, he shared the "why" behind every ingredient, technique, and tradition. Throughout the evening, he provided countless practical cooking tips that we'll be using for years to come. His passion for authentic Italian cuisine is contagious. Together we prepared an amazing meal that included eggplant parmigiana, fresh gnocchi, handmade ravioli, fresh pasta, and a spectacular tiramisu. Every dish was made from scratch using quality ingredients, and the results were absolutely delicious. Seeing how authentic Italian food is prepared in a real Italian home was an experience we'll never forget. The evening was enhanced by a wonderful cocktail upon arrival and excellent red wine throughout dinner. But beyond the food and drinks, what made the experience truly special was the company. Conversation flowed effortlessly, stories were shared, laughter filled the kitchen, and by the end of the evening we felt like we had spent time with old friends. This was far more than a cooking class. It was an authentic glimpse into Italian culture, hospitality, and family traditions. Our experience at Sergio’s was perfect. The class is private, at his home, and he immediately made us feel welcome and comfortable with a drink and appetizer. Then it was a nice mix of him teaching us vs participating ourselves. And the food was amazing!! The experience was truly memorable and special. Highly recommend!

Sergio’s cooking class was so wonderful! My husband and I cook and bake a lot but have never take a cooking class. We learned so many tips from Sergio and just had an overall great experience. First, it’s a private class, for you and whoever is in your group. The value is great, in terms of what you learn, the small class size, and the price. We almost went to a place that charged 200 euro to be in a group of 6-8. It was at a restaurant in Positano in the evening and we didn’t know how we would get back to Maiori so late. We are so glad we found Sergio’s class and he had such an early class for us to take! It was so special and intimate to be invited into someone’s beautiful home and to learn to cook their family recipes! There are a lot of stairs leading up to his home (we weren’t expecting them and were out of breath when we arrived!) but it meant the view was insane. If you do the 12pm class like we did, you’ll sit at the round table in the shade, and if you do the 7pm class, you get to sit out on the bar stools to watch the sunset over the water! Of the many views we saw on our trip, this was up there! We left very early from Maiori so we wouldn’t miss any buses and we arrived quite early. We let Sergio know when we were on the way and he accommodated to let us start early which was so kind and unexpected! He made us some aperitivo (with less alcohol since we mentioned we don’t drink much), and fried pizza and we hung out in the yard just chatting for a bit. His dog, Leo, is very cute and friendly and would lay out in the sun or shade by us. We started the class and Sergio explained the difference between some flours, and pasta, which was good to know. We made ravioli, eggplant parmigiana, strawberry tiramisu and gnocchi. It was all so delicious and we got to ask questions and learn so much! Sergio has the timing down and is very efficient. Once food was ready, he’d set our table outside and serve us with homemade white and red wine, and we would enjoy the food and view while he cleaned up and prepped the next thing. We were so full by the end of the class and thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience! He gave us recipe print outs (they are not updated at the moment but his son will help him update them soon! We just took notes and made revisions which was fine). This was such a fun experience and I don’t know if we will ever take a cooking class that will top this! We met a couple at the bus station after the class and they snapped a photo of Sergio’s business card! We’ll continue to recommend this class to family and friends who are visiting :) thank you Sergio for such a wonderful experience!!

We had the most INCREDIBLE time at Sergio’s Home Experience Cooking Class! Sergio is so amazing! He spent so much time and efforts arranging his menu to reflect our allergies and dietary restrictions that included vegetarian and vegan dishes! We came from Positano area and it was easy to arrive. We were 5 adults and 1 kid and it was a pleasure to cook, learn, and eat together. He has a beautiful kitchen, and a gorgeous outdoor area with a breathtaking view! During our class, he was super caring, attentive, and interesting to learn from. Sergio shared such valuable, fascinating knowledge with us that included learning how to make authentic Italian dishes. Making those dishes together felt really special! His hospitality and care were well above and beyond, and he made our trip so unique and memorable! We’ll 100% come back to take Sergio’s cooking class again next time we’re in town, and we’re super grateful to have learned so much from the amazing teacher, Sergio! We had an amazing meal at Sergio’s home! We were so impressed with the food and recipes. He is a wonderful host and the view from him home cannot be beat! We are excited to make gnocchi at home now.

We visited Sergio's casa for the lunch experience from Italian heaven. It was a real experience with a real cook - he has worked in restaurants in town and farmed there his whole life. He has homemade wine and some great tips for preparing gnocci, Eggplant Parmasan and Strawberry Tiramisu among others.

Sergio's cooking class was a total highlight for our trip. His knowledge and talent are undeniable. We made four courses as well as started with an aperitif. We had a delicious pasta fritta with a welcome cocktail, then learned to make four dishes which we hand-crafted and ate as our dinner with an incredible view! We had gnocchi with green beans and a lovely pesto, ravioli with roasted provolone and ricotta and tomato sauce, (my favorite) the best eggplant parmesan I have ever eaten, and finished with a strawberry tiramisu. As a vegetarian, the menu was perfect for me as well as delicious. We were given print-outs of all recipes we made with very thorough information for each step so that we may recreate the dishes at home. Sergio's home is lovely, as well as his adorable dog! The kitchen was perfectly ready for our cooking class, and the meal was had outside on his patio with a breath-taking view of Praiano while the sun sets. We also got to try a white wine from a local friend of Sergio's as well as a red FROM HIS OWN VINEYARD! Both of which were delicious and complimented our food beautifully! Thank you, Sergio, for all that you do and for all that you taught us. It is completely clear from the moment you start your class, that you love the art of cooking and teaching others about your passion and skills. Do yourself a favor and BOOK THIS CLASS! Everything about it was spectacular, all for an incredibly affordable price that is sometimes difficult to find on the Amalfi Coast. My partner and I already want to come back!

Sergio was very sweet. He taught a private cooking course for my friend and I. The food was delicious, he explained the purpose of each ingredient as we added it. We got to play with his adorable dog Leo. The food was as fantastic and we got to keep the recipes. The food tasted very authentically Italian and it was an amazing experience. For anyone staying in the Praiano region, it is very worthwhile.

We loved our cooking class with Sergio in his beautiful home with the most beautiful view and his sweet dog Leo. Ingredients came from his garden and his homemade wine and olive oil were delicious! We made strawberry tiramisu, ravioli, eggplant Parmesan (the thinnest cut I have ever seen) and gnocchi. We loved having the class with just us, it was so personal!! Our last night in Praiano was a wonderful experience cooking and learning with Sergio. The view was spectacular, the company warm and inviting, and the food was outstanding! My husband and I were welcomed into Sergio and Bistra's home, along with their cute dog Leo. Music entertained us as we had an aperitivo and an individual pizza together with a view of the coastline from above. As we drank some delicious homemade wine, Sergio explained and taught us how to make Eggplant Parmesan, Gnocchi (my favorite italian dish, and I had no idea how much better it could taste!) Ravioli and Strawberry Tiramisu for dessert. After preparing each course together, he seated us out on the romantically lit terrace. He would plate the food and bring it out as we gazed at the beauty below. Truly a magical night and one of our most loved memories of our trip to Italy. Thanks for the lovely evening Sergio!

We had an amazing afternoon in Praiano, experiencing the culture of the Amalfi Coast. Sergio greeted us with his adorable dog and welcomed us into his home. The view was breathtaking and the food was incredible. My daughter is gluten free due to celiac and Sergio prepared her meal in advance in a safe environment so that she could experience the cooking class without worrying. What a memorable day!

Sergio had a lovely home, and a beautiful custom menu for our group. We enjoyed learning the local traditions and taking the recipes and learnings home with us. We had a remarkable time.

We went to Sergio’s home for a cooking lesson while visiting the coast for our honeymoon. He and his wife were so welcoming and made us feel right at home. We loved cooking with Sergio! The class is held in his lovely home. He has a beautiful balcony/view. We did the cooking class part in the kitchen and ate on the patio. The class was very relaxed. We enjoyed an appetizer and cocktails to start, then started cooking. There was plenty of wine and water offered through the night.

I highly recommend this experience to anyone who loves to, or would love to learn classic cooking in Praiano. Sergio was an outstanding host, teacher and cook. What we learned from Sergio cannot be replicated by other cooking classes offered in town. The food was delicious and the views from his home were beautiful! Sergio teaches so well in a comfortable environment, and the food was the best time we had during our 2 week Italy trip. I am excited to go home and try to make these dishes! Absolutely a highlight of our stay on the Amalfi coast! Sergio had us up to his house in the sky overlooking the Mediterranean and we cooked a 4 course meal together and enjoyed the olive oil from his orchard, and the wines from his cellar. Highly recommend if you enjoy Italian food. He's full of little tips that you don't get in the cookbooks. More than once my wife looked at me and we realized something we do at home when cooking...and how it could be just a little bit more delicious with a simple fix.

Highlight of our trip. What an amazing experience!!! We learned to make tiramisu, ravioli, potato gnocchi, and eggplant Parm. The food was some of the best we had during our entire 2 week trip. Sergio also served us white and red wine he makes that was amazing. I can't recommend this experience enough and I have done many cooking classes.

Sergio’s home experience was an incredible night! We arrived at Sergio’s house on a rainy evening, and he was so gracious, offering me a blow dryer to dry off. It was a private class, and he took us through all the little tips and tricks for making delicious pasta. We also made an eggplant Parmesan and a tiramisu for dessert with a candle for my hubby’s birthday. Lots of food! Naturally, all served with cocktails and wine from his own little vineyard. Sergio’s cooking class was the best dinner we had on our two week honeymoon. The food was absolutely incredible. Sergio’s class has a personal touch you won’t get with other cooking classes in Italy. My wife and I took a private class for dinner and had a 5 course meal. You cannot beat the price for the overall experience. Sergio had recipes for the dishes we were going to learn to cook printed out when we arrived. We made zucchini flowers, gnocchi with green beans and pesto, ravioli, eggplant parmesan, and strawberry tiramisu. We had Sergio’s homemade wine and limoncello, and ate our dinner on his terrace with a stunning view of Praiano. We also got to hang out with his adorable dog Leo. If we are ever back in the Amalfi Coast area, we’ll be back at Sergio’s. 10/10 experience.

They were welcoming and kind and helpful when we couldn’t find our way :) Our teenagers actively participated and tried (and loved) food they were never inclined to try at home. The views were amazing and we got to visit with their friendly little pup, Leo, we were all missing our own pets so much, it was a delight. We visited in early May. We had a different excursion planned for the day and unfortunately rain would not let us take our planned boat ride. We scrambled and came across the cooking experience with Sergio. We quickly booked for the afternoon. Sergio invited us into his home where we enjoyed fresh limoncello We prepared and assisted in making several authentic Italian dishes. The food was simply amazing! So fresh, probably one of our favorite meals during our entire two weeks. Sergio was top-notch! He made us feel like we were simply at a friends house, enjoying so many great stories of his Italian upbringing the food, and of course, the beautiful town of Priano ! The view from his home was the icing on the cake! I highly recommend this excursion if you are ready for an authentic and intimate experience.

The views from Sergio’s home is amazing! It is always a private experience which was really cool. The food was some of the best we have had on our trip to Italy!
