It’s a full day with a lot of boat time which was fabulous. The water temperature is cooler in late October and I would recommend a sweater or jacket as it gets quite windy on the boat ride. Our guide Raphael was wonderful and fun and we saw so many different things from the water. Stopping at Amalfi and positano was great!
This was a once in a lifetime experience. The captain and first mate were great. Attentive !! told us all about the area. Boating down the Amalfi coast is an amazing amazing experience. Got off the boat in Amalfi and Positano, which are crowded but still very beautiful. Got to jump in the water and swim and went to a grotto and watched all the fish in the water. is the most amazing color of blue you can imagine. Highly recommend this store.
Best experience ever. We spent the whole day on the water and it never felt rushed. 10/10 would recommend. Great guide and captain. Good size of group too.
Best boat trip ever! I enjoyed it so much. It was very informative and so much fun! Thank you so much to the two fantastic guides!
Great tour all around, especially stopping off along the shore for a swim to the beach. The tour guides were gracious and very knowledgeable on the overall area.
We had an amazing time on our boat day around the amalfi coast. Cayetano and the captain were very nice. Cayetano was very knowledgeable and great at explaining stops and sightseeing. I definitely recommend doing a boat tour around the amalfi coast the views are amazing. We also saw this amazing grotto!
Very friendly and accommodating staff from pick up to drop off. Best boat trip we have ever done! Would 100% recommend.
Friendly boat crew, captain and assistant. Informative. Temperature decreases while out on water, prepare with layers.
The crew was extremely friendly, prompt, funny, and attentive. We loved the attention and great detail on the boat from Sorrento to Amalfi and back, even with crazy wind and waves. Yikes! We would highly recommend this crew again and again.
Relative to our other five tours, this ranked the lowest. The tour was informative. the captain was knowledgeable, and swimming in the Mediterranean Sea was wonderful. However, stopping at the Amalfi island Pasitano was not enjoyable. The crowds and the time allowed on these two stops did not meet our expectations. We also went off-season, so when the crowds were thinner. We had no time to explore the towns nor the desire to because of the crowds.
Excellent tour guide and boat captain. Everything handled w precision. Our group was very pleased with all aspects
I went in a group of 6 and this was worth our money. The guide on our boat, Antonio, was hospitable and charismatic. They gave us plenty of time to explore the towns we stopped at and were very informative during the tour. Our tour lasted over 7 hours and we enjoyed every second!
This was one of the highlights of our vacation! We enjoyed this tour so much. It was exactly as described. Rafael was such a fantastic host. He was funny, helpful and so nice. We loved swimming along the coast and visiting Amalfi and Positano. The views from the boat were breathtaking! What a spectacular day!
Highly recommend this experience! They were able to pick us up directly from hotel which was convenient. The boat was a great size for our smaller group of 10-12 people. This is a full day experience and we visited Amalfi and Positano with an hour+ to explore each city. The boat guide and captain were fun and professional. Free beers and champagne were available on the boat as well. 10/10!
This was a very good trip. Rachel our guide provided great commentary along the way. Swimming off the boat was wonderful. Crowds in both Amalfi & Positano but we had enough time to see what we wanted to & enjoy a nice lunch & even gelato. Drinks are provided on board too. Glad we did this tour.
We had a wonderful time. They picked us up at our hotel and dropped us off as well. Both captain and tour guide were very friendly. Giving history about all over the coast. Spent about 1 hour and 15 on land in Amalfi and Positano. We had options for 2 swim stops. Prosecco, beer, water, limoncello and potato chips were survived. It was a great day!
All around great experience! Augustin and Francesco were great. Loved the swimming stops along the way, information about the Amalfi Coast & just enough time stopping in Positano & Amalfi for a quick visit.
We paid extra to have a pick up. It was well worth it. The driver was great and on time. The experience on the boat was amazing. Sharon the guide was so sweet, knowledgeable, and fun. The captian was very experienced and felt safe while traveling. We had time on positano and Amalfi - both beautiful. Sharon recommended wine, lunch, shopping destinations. Would do this trip again with this charter company.
Bring your bathing suits! There were opportunities to swim. Water so blue and clear. AMAZING! Boat was well kept and operated. By the trip home we were all so chill.
Always a big fan of boat tours. I loved seeing the coast of Italy. I think it’s a great way to visit Amalfi and Positano instead of a ferry. You only have around an hour to sight see each place but I think the highlight for me is the swimming at the end. Our guide and captain were great!
Great tour! Engaging tour guide and great itinerary. Got time in both Positano and Amalfi + time to swim in the serene waters of the Amalfi coast which is exactly what we wanted! The boat was also awesome and so nice!
Great experience. Crew was kind and helpful. May be best to wear your swimsuit all day as you may get sprayed/splashed depending on where you’re sitting and the wind.
We had an amazing day exploring Positano and Amalfi by boat today! ⛵️ Our guide from Argentina was absolutely fantastic — so friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. His colleague was also lovely and helpful. Our 5-year-old daughter, who had a wonderful time too! They really made our day special. Highly recommend this boat tour!
My girlfriend and I had a wonderful experience on this trip. The weather was perfect, the itinerary was great, and everything went very smoothly. I very much appreciate the convenience of the hotel transfer, as well. I would highly recommend this as it's a wonderful way to see the Amalfi Coast. The only negative thing I can say is that they informed us in advance that there was a 20 euro charge for hotel transfer, but they didn't inform us that there was also a 20 euro charge for the docking fees. No big deal, but I would have appreciated being informed of that beforehand as well so I could ensure I had the correct cash on hand. Thank you for the wonderful day!
Great tour and definitely worth it! The captain and his assistant were wonderful — very friendly, attentive, and made the experience really enjoyable. The only area that could improve is the drinks and snacks. It would be nice to have more drinks offered throughout the tour and to make sure they are cold. We also didn’t really see the snacks, although to be fair, we didn’t ask for them. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely recommend this tour!
Absolute wonderful experience. Our guide Sharon was amazing. She was informative with our turning the entire boat ride into a history lesson. She was super down to earth and took time to come around and talk to all of the couples, she made us feel extremely comfortable. Fran was our captain, and he got us around the coast safely. The entire process was seamless. It’s a well oiled machine, the way it’s run from start to finish. Thanks for a great time Sharon and Fran. Def recommend!!
This is the best way to see Amalfi and Positano, and learn some fun local facts along the way. The boat was spacious and nice. The captain and crew were so friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this!! It was awesome.
A great day with excellent skipper and crew. Plenty of swim time and just enough time in Amalfi and Positano as they are very crowded.
10/10 from pickup to drop off! Our favorite part of the Sorrento trip!! Views are insane and swimming in the Mediterranean Sea was unreal. Other reviews were not lying about the choppy water and getting easily sea sick- but worth it!
Great tour to visit Amalfi, Positano and sites in between. The crew was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful throughout the trip. Definitely recommend them!
We had a blast touring the coastline and making stops in Amalfi and Positano. The swimming stops were really nice too!
This was an amazing trip! Giuseppe and Augustin were really good, informative and accommodating. They did so much extra for us, we had so much fun! I would really recommend this company.
This trip was as described in the write up but pointing out a few things from our experience may help others who read reviews when choosing the tours that fit them the best. Transportation to the location where we departed from was a great feature and was on time and organized. The boat has few actual seats in back, and then a big cushioned open front of boat. Due to size of the group on our trip (12 total, but each separate groups of 2 or 3), people had to split up to balance weight on boat. We chose the front which seemed like it would be fun at first, but we did not realize the far distance we would be traveling and how extremely choppy, bumpy and unsettled the entire ride would be, and our weather was a perfect blue sky low wind day. The front of boat has no actual seats so the 2 of us plus the 4 others struggled to sit upright comfortably and watched each other be bounced as we motored vigorously for 30-40 minutes before our first stop. The boat driver was fine, but the waters along this ride were different than we expected, as we thought it would be more calm and scenic versus motorboating. The first swimming spot was not very enticing as boats were all around idoling and current was visible. The few who went in, said it was rough and for one in our party who stayed on, the motion of the ride and sitting idle in current caused her to become sick with motion sickness (and that was with her already having taken Dramamine). A guy in the back of the boat also was sick off the side of boat along the way to Amalfi, which was first land stop. Amalfi port area was busy, crowded with folks pushing and the Main Street was packed with people and cars beeping at people walking the tiny street. 2nd stop at Positano was much nicer and time there a little longer. Plenty of places to shop or lunch right near where they let you out or some beach options too. The return ride we moved to back of boat to help with the motion sickness and discomfort on front of boat, but felt bad because it meant someone else had to move to front, since not everyone could have an actual seat in back of boat. The 2nd swimming spot was calmer and everyone from our boat jumped in, but if not a strong swimmer, it was still intimidating as it was deep. The host provided pool noodles to float with. Most people used 2. Stops at the other two cool sites mentioned and the driver was great at maneuvering the boat safely. Then the very long and choppy ride back, again not as scenic as we expected and most folks on our trip who didn’t know each other were all saying the same thing. The host provided chips and beverages and he was very nice and explained things along the way. The prosecco and limoncello at the end was nice. We said we were glad we got to see Amalfi and Positano so we didn’t wonder what we would be missing but the boat ride and the docking are not for the faint of heart. It was rough and a bit chaotic, but not the fault of the guides, but something people choosing this option should know.
We were picked up from our hotel and driven to the port to get on our boat. There were 8 of us on the boat and we had a wonderful day along the Amalfi Coast with our Captain Emanuel. Our first stop was Amalfi, where we had around an hour to explore. After which Emanuel picked us up and we had an opportunity for a welcomed swim further along the coast, equipment was available to use too which was great. After the swim we went to Positano and again had around an hour there. The port was very busy so Emanuel arranged for a water taxi to collect us so that we could make full use of the time available. We had a second opportunity for a swim further along the coast after we left Positano. Emanuel was a great host explaining the history of the coast, points of interest and we had plenty of refreshments throughout the trip including some fabulous home made limoncello.
Beautiful day from start to finish; our guide and captain were wonderful! Would definitely recommend.
I booked the day tour to Positano & Amalfi Coast and it was such a great experience! Being a solo traveller, everyone including the staff were super welcoming and created such a great atmosphere on the boat! We had time to get off and explore the islands as well as swimming time in private stop offs! Lemoncello shots at the end of the day was the cherry on top! Can’t recommend this company enough, family owned & everyone is so lovely/ well organised! You even get your own pick up and drop off!! It’s great for travelling as solo, friends or even a family!! Worth every dollar $$ Highlight of my trip!! Thank you guys🫶🏻🇮🇹🐠
This was the highlight of our trip. Salvador our captain was well skilled and hospitable throughout our trip. He provided knowledge and enjoyment. To see these beautiful towns was a lot long dream.
We had a great time. It was exactly what we wantedx, and our two guys running the tour were rally nice. Mix of boat, swim, time on the ground, and surprises
Rafael and Captain Jack were a great team. They made the day run smooth and we made some good memories. Swimming spots and Nonna!
Fabulous.. what a phenomenal day today.. with this amazing group!! A Must Do!!!The guys were informative and the ride and swimming were amazing.. can't say enough about the experience!
Crowded on the weekends. Bring plenty of sun screen as the sun can be brutal. Take advantage of the pick up service.
I hate to take away stars from a trip that should have been nothing but fun, but I feel I have to mention this as a caution to other travelers. The itinerary and overall concept of the trip were great. We absolutely loved Positano and Amalfi, and the crew worked hard and did a very good job. Unfortunately, one important detail that wasn’t clear in the description significantly affected our experience: the size of the boat. There were about 10 passengers on a 35-foot boat, which already felt somewhat crowded. More importantly, a boat of this size is extremely sensitive to the normal waves and swells in this area. It was not a particularly stormy or unusually rough day, but the motion was still quite intense. Moving around the boat felt difficult and at times unsafe because of the risk of falling, and I became very motion sick. I’m not unusually sensitive to motion sickness. We have taken similar boat excursions many times before, usually on larger boats or catamarans, and motion sickness has never been an issue for me. On this trip, instead of being able to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery, I spent much of the time simply wanting to get off the boat. I think the tour description should make the size and type of boat very clear so travelers can make an informed decision, especially anyone who may be even moderately prone to seasickness. In my opinion, a larger and more stable boat would make this otherwise excellent itinerary a much more enjoyable experience. We still did our best to enjoy the day, and I want to emphasize that the crew was attentive and did a good job. I’m subtracting stars not because of them or the itinerary, but because I think the boat size is an important issue that future travelers should be aware of.

This trip is a fantastic way to explore the coast line of the Amalfi coast. It's cooler on the boat, you get to swim in crystal clear water. You can go into both Amalfi and Positano, however, with the extreme heat we chose to stay close to the water. Out tour guide was wonderful, and knowledgeable. We had a great day.
Sabatino and Giuseppe were excellent! We had a lot of fun on this 7 hr boat tour from Sorrento w stops at Amalfi and Positano. We stopped for swimming and snorkeling and all of the timing was perfect! Sabatino did an excellent job in explaining all there was to see along the route and it made for an incredible last day in Italy!
We had a fabulous time on this adventure. The captain and the tour guide were fabulous. The tour took over 8 hours so plan accordingly. It was a very hot day so the cities were very crowded. The final snorkel trip at the end was a bit frightening. The waves got rough and many of us had trouble getting back to the boat. We had noodles for floating but I would suggest you consider a life jacket if rough. The boat was unable to anchor right near us so we had to patiently wait for help.. They did a good job of pulling us in with the life ring. They handled the stress well.
Fantastic great timing for stops ! Great music!!!
It was a wonderful experience!! We had a group of 12 and the boat accommodated us comfortably. The captain was skilled and our tour guide was awesome. Fabrizia was very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. The pickup to and from the hotel was easy. This a definite do not miss adventure.
Fantastic day exploring the coast from the water, great views of each town. Guides were informative and friendly. Never felt rushed enough time in each town to swim and explore.
