Excursions Along The Amalfi Coast With Private Driver

This is a top notch service. Our Driver, Dino, met us are at our hotel and took us on a day long excursion along the Amalfi coast, stopping at Sorrento, Amalfi, and Ravello. Everywhere we stopped it seemed like he knew everybody and could get us in anywhere and show us anything in any of the shops or restaurants. He was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and even booked us a lunch and a fantastic seaside restaurant. I can’t recommend this company enough. We are going back to Italy next year and will use them again.

Today my wife and I spent the day with Leo, a private driver for Top Excursions Sorrento. We did an eight hour tour of the Amalfi Coast, with stops in Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello. We left at nine AM. (as with both our experiences with Top Excursions Sorrento - the driver was right on time.) Leo was personable, very informative, helpful with suggestions as to where we might eat, what we might do or look for. All three towns bloomed under his informative suggestions. More importantly, Leo was a consummate professional in every way; his diving was Monte Carlo capable, his conversation was friendly without being intrusive, his knowledge of the area was deep punctuated by good nuggets of what to try, where to go, and what to look for. We were in Sorrento on honeymoon, having married a year ago, but only now making the trip. Top Excursions Sorrento, and Leo made the trip what we hoped for when we planned it.

Had a great day with our driver and guide Giovanni. He took us to the Amafi coast and to some other towns. Then we did a tour of Pompeii.

We messaged them through WhatsApp and the service was so quick and efficient. Throughout our trip, our drivers were Antonio and Andrea, and they were punctual and kind. Andrea stopped to get us some granita as a welcome to our first stop in Sorrento and on our way back to Naples Antonio so kind to stop at a local coffee shop so we can get a quick bite. Highly recommend them and they have very competitive prices.

We used this company after a recommendation for my sister. Communication with the company was easy and plans were made. Our driver Dino was amazing. He was so nice and respectful. He had so much knowledge and information to share. It made our experience even more interesting. He was a very safe driver and his recommendations were on point. It is very clear he loves his job! 10 stars for Dino! The vehicle was neat, clean and air conditioned. Water was provided, as much as we needed. Prices were reasonable and minimally higher than being in a tour group. Our family experienced world class customer service all around. We will be back!

This is our second time hiring Top Excursion Sorrento and just like the first time, the service was exceptional. There vans are newer, well equipped and super clean. Our driver David was extremely helpful in planning our day at our request. He lives in Sorrento and is very familiar with the Amalfi coast and the small towns. He arranged an amazing lunch at a winery back up in the hills and it was a very special experience. I would highly recommend this company if you plan to visit this area, you won't be disappointed.

Antonio - our driver - was assigned to pick us up in Sorrento and drive us to a local lemon farm, then bring us to Positano after our experience there. Antonio was an absolute gem! He is SO kind, incredibly helpful giving us pointers and tips for dining, things to do, hidden gems and sites to see. Antonio was so great that I hired him for a few days later to drive me to Ravello and back. He made suggestions, and stops along the way. He also took great care in driving the very windy/curvy Amalfi roads. He knows the area incredibly well. I would definitely hire this tour company again - and ask for Antonio!

Peppe was an amazing driver. Not only was his knowledge of the coast first class he was a very very smooth driver. As a family we couldn’t have had a better driver. I don't even know where to start...Our driver Peppe picked us up at our door in Rome, stopped at Pompeii so we could do a tour, and then dropped us off at our place in Sorrento. Peppi was so amazing he treated us like family from the first minute. The next morning he picked us up for our tour of the Amalfi Coast. Peppe is so knowledgeable and just a pleasure to be with. If you are looking for a top-tier, next-level experience, Top Excursions has you covered. My husband and I took a train from Rome Termini to Naples. As we got off the train, Aniello was waiting for us in a beautiful Mercedes Benz luxury vehicle. He grabbed our luggage and we were off to a full-day excursion up and down the Amalfi Coast! Aniello spoke perfect English and new all the best spots. Our luggage was safe and sound in the trunk and Aniella safeguarded our stuff while we explored! Our first stop was in the center of Ravello where we explored the most beautiful village! We had our own time to explore the quaint streets and enjoy delicious snacks in cute cafes. Our next stop was Amalfi ...Aniello navigated the small streets and busy villages with precision! He made reservations for us at a wonderful family owned restaurant right on the water and beach clubs. We had delicious food and wonderful wine in the most beautiful setting. Aniello took us to a family-owned Ceramic store were we bought souvenirs and learned about these amazing pieces! September is the perfect time to enjoy the Amalfi Coast because the crowds die down a little bit and the weather is PERFECT. Our next stop was Positano where we watched the sunset! We ended our 8-hour tour when Aniello dropped us off at our hotel in Sorrento. A couple of days later we checked out of our hotel and planned a day-trip to Capri. Giovanni, from Top Excursions, picked us up in the morning, safe-guarded our luggage while we went on over to Capri. Giovanni picked us up in the afternoon and took us to the airport in Naples where we caught a flight over to Sardinia! The service and professionalism from both drivers were exceptional! We were free to travel from city to village to ferry to plane without our luggage! I give Top Excursions an A+++!

Leo was our driver for the week in Italy. He picked us up from the Rome Airport and drive us to Sorrento. Very smooth drive after a 9 hr flight. We also hired him again for a day trip to the Amalfi coast. He was very informative at every stop. He also had great recommendations for dinning and night spots. Bucket list trip to the Amalfi Coast exceeded all expectations! Everything about our tour was seamless, from communication with Giovanni for scheduling the trip, to timely drop off at our Naples cruise ship. Our driver Dario was an absolute gem- professional, engaging, informative and personable. He MADE the trip- great suggestions for limoncello, pottery and gelato and superb choice for lunch, even arranging a surprise dessert for my birthday. He humored my need to take 10,000 photos…knowing all the best places to stop. So glad we were on a private tour and able to explore what we wanted at our own pace, especially with a skilled, local driver. I would give this tour 10 stars if I could. First trip to Italy but definitely not the last , and will use this company and driver for future adventures.

We were here for a destination wedding with several events to attend. Top Excursion Sorento took us to and from the airport and every event in a timely and professional manner. Vehicles were clean, supplied with water and anything else we needed. We had various drivers and all were knowledgeable of the area, friendly, professional, patient, and kind. I have personal mobility limitations and they all went above and beyond to ensure I was able to get in and out of the vehicle and delivered safely to our destinations. We had an incredible experience using this company! Our driver was excellent and was well experienced maneuvering through the difficult streets of the amalfi coast. They were very flexible on our changes and responded very promptly to emails. The vehicle was very nice and comfortable for the 4 of us traveling.

Our driver Dario picked us up in Sorrento on time. He was professional, friendly and had a wealth of knowledge about the local area. He asked what we were interested in seeing and incorporated those into our full day excursion along with some suggestions of places that he thought we might also like. We really appreciated these suggestions and he was right on the mark with some places to eat, shop and see. The town of Ravella was our favorite town and it was made all the more so by seeing the gardens that Dario told us about. This excursion was the most memorable from our vacation in Italy.

He went out of his way to accommodate every request and make our family vacation memorable. He even provided recommendations for additional trips and dinner locations after our tour ended and offered to arrange reservations for us. We had an amazing experience being driven from Sorrento through the entire Amalfi Coast. The coast is amazing but what made the excursion better was our driver Peppe. He was great driving cautiously all the twists and turns of the Amalfi coast. Peppe was very kind and courteous and is a local so he shared all his knowledge and love of his Italian coast.

Top Excursions Sorrento drove us for a trip from Rome to Sorrento with a stop for lunch in Naples and then a day trip to the Amalfi Coast. Our driver Leo was amazing!!! We can’t say enough about him and his knowledge of Italy and the wisdom he shared. It really enhanced our experience to learn so much about Italian history and culture while enjoying the beautiful views. We will be using them again in the future.

Molto molto bene! A perfect day. On a sunny but cool day we were taken to Positano, Ravello and Amalfi by our expert driver and guide, Donato. The were just enough stops to view the spectacular coast and towns and Donato had some great stories about some of the sights. The limo was super comfortable and Donato’s driving is superb. We had a super lunch on the foreshore in Amalfi and returned to our accommodation in the early afternoon. A lifetime memory.

We hired them for a private full day Amalfi tour. Our diver Aniello was fantastic! Stopped for many pictures, gave us tips and personally walked us to some locations. The Mercedes van was spotless, he had water and snacks for us. We could not have asked for better service. Definitely recommend dealing with this company.

We had originally booked on the Tui day tour of the Amalfi coast but decided this looked more appealing as we would have more control over where we went and how much time we spent there. In this respect it was a very successful day and the price was reasonable for four of us. The driver was friendly and entertaining and we saw a great many wonderful places. But - and I'm afraid this is a big but - we were not quite given everything the company website promised. It was a boiling hot day and we did not bother packing much water because the website said that mineral water would be provided. This was not the case. When we asked the driver for some, he looked a bit puzzled that we should ask him for water. After at first saying he would get us some, he then drove us to a ceramics shop and told us to go in and buy some bottles of water ourselves from the cafe. It was too hot and thirsty a day for arguing so we just did as he said. Likewise the "free gift" of Limoncello promised on the website did not materialise either. It's a shame because we had a really good experience apart from the failure to provide these two things that were promised. I do not like leaving poor reviews and as I say in most respects we were very happy with this tour - if they would only provide everything they promise in their advertising, I would happily give five stars.

We took a day trip from Sorrento to Positano, Ravello and Amalfi with our tour guide Aniello. The entire experience was absolutely great - he was very professional, punctual, courteous to our needs, friendly and knowledgeable! The drive was so comfortable and we felt very safe despite the traffic through the route. The car was very spacious and comfortable too. Aniello gave us precise advice on the spots to visit through the day which was very helpful and allowed us to use our time well at each location. Thanks to Giovanni for organising a great day for us and huge thanks to Aniello for being a great tour guide throughout the day! Daniel was a more than wonderful driver and guide. Not only did he point many features along the drive, but took us to a small hidden, locals restaurant/bar where he introduced us to his wife who happened to be there. O and taught me Italian phrases and words to use in my stay. His knowledge of the area seemed to be great
