This is only a suggested itinerary below with some of the main sights highlighted. As this is a private excursion, you can customize it as you wish. Choose your departure time and departure point: the boat can depart from Sorrento, Positano, or Naples.
Meet your experienced and friendly skipper, who will accompany you during the day. Start the navigation to the island. Upon arriving in Capri, your captain will cruise past breathtaking island views. Visit some of the most famous highlights of the island: such as the White Grotto and the Marvellous Grotto.
See the beautiful Green Grotto and enjoy a swim in the incredibly beautiful water just outside it. This is one of the best spots around the island.
If you would like, you can stop to visit the Blue Grotto in Capri, which is famous for its electric blue water inside.
Cruise by the beautiful Marina Piccola on the southern side of the island of Capri.
See the majestic Faraglioni sea stacks, one of the symbols of the island and cruise right through the hole in the middle of the rocks.
A striking example of Italian modern architecture, this deep red hued villa is perched atop a rocky point on the island. The villa is not open to the public, but one of the best angles to see it is from the sea.
At the southwestern tip of Capri you will see this pink and white lighthouse set on a cap jutting out into the sea.
Along the way you can enjoy several stops for swimming and snorkelling, and a relaxing break with snacks, fruits and drinks offered on board. If you want, you can also visit the island by land or decide to have lunch in one of the many delicious restaurants on the coast accessible only by sea. The skipper will suggest you the best one!
Once back on board, relax en route to the departure point, sipping some Prosecco sparkling wine offered by your skipper.
FABIO was fantastic! He took us to hidden little gems and close to the rocks to see fish. Stopping and sharing good knowledge of who lived in some of the villa’s .
I can’t say enough positive things about our private boat tour of Capri and the surrounding sites out of Amalfi. Anna was a perfect guide, bringing information and upbeat energy in equal measure! Captain “K” kept us going in a safe and timely manner throughout the trip. All our needs were met with kindness and respect for all passengers from 20s to a 90 year old in a wheelchair, for the 2 tours I arranged two Mondays in a row for different groups of family & friends! Don’t hesitate, book it!!
Anna was amazing on our tour with friends! What a beautiful day! I would absolutely ride with them again and definitely do so! Everything was set up perfectly. The cut fruit, the snacks, the Prosecco, and overall amazing experience. Pickup was easy! We did so in Amalfi. Capri had a lot of tourists, so if you’re looking for something ‘quiet’ - I would choose one of their other boat tour options! A highlight of the day was jumping into a beautiful ocean and Anna helped us film and video it all! She’s such a pro- truly high quality images! Thank you for making our tour amazing!!!
The drive there is amazing!! The ride back ?!?? Bumpy and trying to dock is ridiculous!! Be prepared to wait 45 min to get off your boat! Inhaling fumes for 45 min not on mist pics!!
Trip was wonderful, Anna made us feel comfortable, very bubblee and lovely . I definitely recommend her she was a great guide and Catelo can navigate that boat very friendly. Great value for our money and the 4 hrs stop at Capri went very fast .

Excellent captain 8 hour trip to lose 4 to go back and forth to capri Every boat on the water passed us. Diesel fumes bad Diesel engines loud Only wanted to run 1800 rpm (6 mph) From what we gathered owner doesn’t like them running faster Slow rocking boat. Now I know and would consider a couple other options. Never this again
Amazing experience! We got picked up from Positano and were dropped off in Sorrento and took a boat to Capri. Got to explore Capri for about 4.5 hours and got dropped back off.

What an incredible experience we had our on boat tour around Capri and the Amalfi coast. Simone was our skipper and he took great care of my wife and I. We took a leisurely ride from Sorrento and got to see literally all around Capri from the water. Unfortunately, the Blue Grotto was closed due to the seas being a bit too rough, but that didn’t take away from the experience at all. Simone recommended a path to take and we just enjoyed the ride. We stopped at a small fishing village for an amazing lunch and at the end, as opposed to dropping us back in Sorrento, he took us to a marina much closer to Pompeii to minimize the ride back to our hotel. Even though the water was a bit chilly as it was early season, Simone convinced us to take a swim in a great spot after lunch, and it was amazing. Very refreshing and we also got a chance to do some snorkeling. They also arranged our transfers from and to our hotel which was really nice as we didn’t have a car available to us. While not an inexpensive activity, it was very much worth every penny (or Euro) that we spent! Highly recommend!
We did a Capri boat tour out of Sorrento, and had an amazing tour. The scenery, music, drinks, and most of all the positive energy from Alex and Frank made our day a memorable one.
This was an incredible day. Capri is one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. Anna was a wonderful host who gave us a lot of information about what we were seeing, and Catello was an excellent captain. Exceeded our expectations. Going around the island by boat is a mist, much better than just a ferry ride.
My boyfriend and I went on the boat tour to Capri. Alex and Frank were so wonderful. They showed us so many beautiful sights along the way and made the ride very fun. They provided drinks and lunch as well. I couldn’t have asked for more 10/10!!

Luca was phenomenal! He showed us all of the greatest caves and grotto's from the shoreline. He gave awesome suggestions for Capri and Ana Capri too. Very knowledgeable and fun, it was an awesome day!

First of all, the YouKnowBoat operation is first class. Our guide and skipper were awesome played great music on the boat and made everything a great time for all of us. We had drinks and fun and alot of great information at a great pace and we felt like they cared about us and wanted us to all have a great time on the boat and in Capri. Antonio, thank you man and good luck with the Meta glasses. Can only say great things, and it would be a good choice to choose them among all the others for the boat trips and keepin it real.

CAPRI - What a day! We had the most amazing boat and Franchesca and her partner were the most fabulous hosts. The boat was spotlessly clean. Franchesca pointed out all the sights and found us a great restaurant for lunch. On the boat we were offered drinks, snacks and fruit. Franchesca came with the family to the port to make sure we were ok and make sure we knew where to pick up the boat for our trip back. They made our day out really special. I’m sure we will talk about this trip in years to come. Amazing!!!

Luisa and Federico were our captain and guides and they made the trip amazing! We had so much fun touring the coastlines and seeing all the grottos. The weather wasn’t the best but they did great navigating and still giving us a great time! It was great going with just a small group and during the off season when there was no one else around. We enjoyed visiting capri and anacapri. Make sure you take the chairlift while you’re there! Amazing views

We had the best time on this boat tour. The host Kiki and the boat captain Strawberry were the nicest people I met in Italy and they were sooooo much fun! They encouraged me to go swim and made sure I was safe the entire time. Kiki made sure everyone was having a good time and spoiled us with drinks and snacks. Kiki also is a great tour guide, she has a degree in art and history so the facts that she told us about the sites were so interesting to hear. Highly recommend this tour. We took the sunset tour of capri with luisa and guiseppe. It was fantastic and they gave us enough time to first have a swim in the clear waters around capri and then dropped us off for a while at capri with suggestions. Our tour coincided with fireworks celebration on July 29th in sorrento so on our return, we had the added bonus of coming back to see the fireworks from the water..what a view. Magical. Overall an awesome experience and they kept us plied with drinks and fruit all through the trip. Highly recommended
Fulvio was a wonderful skipper!!! We took a private boat tour from Amalfi to Capri. However, before arriving in Capri, we did a tour of the Amalfi Coast and then did a tour around the entire island of Capri. We saw the Emerald and White Grotto. The Blue Grotto was closed due to weather. We were able to stop and swim. We had a wonderful lunch in a little place in Nerano called Maria Gracia! Plus, Fulvio made sure we had drinks and fresh fruit as a snack. Fulvio was very attentive and stopped on several occasions to show us sights. We had a wonderful day on the water and would recommend Fulvio and You Know to others!!!!
Our family of 13 took the full day private boat tour from Amalfi to Capri and it was amazing! Communication and finding the boat at the port was easy and straightforward. Federico and Salvatore were beyond exceptional in giving our group a wonderful experience full of knowledge, history, and laughs! It felt like we were traveling with friends instead of guides and they worked to make it a memorable experience. Our trip to Capri was one of the highlights of our trip and we would highly recommend this crew and company!

TUI booked this tour for us with You Know! It was a private sunset tour of the Amalfi Coast. Our hostess was Kiara and our captain was Manuel. They were both knowledgeable and personable and made the excursion fun for all of us. I highly recommend this tour and Kiara and Manuel! We had a wonderful time!
Our captain was wonderful - very welcoming and knowledgeable. The water was rough on our day but he was able to skillfully navigate through the water. I had thought that the stop in Capri was optional but it turns out that they do drop you off there. I’d recommend avoiding the restaraunt that they drop you off at - food was not great and the place feels very touristy. This is my second trip out by boat and second time that we were not able to go into the blue grotto. I’d set your expectations accordingly.
