Rafael was fantastic and a lot of fun. He was super knowledgeable and gave a fantastic tour. I just wish they had told us that morning that the blue grotto was closed. None of us had any idea it was closed.

Reviews
The tour around Capri was great. Late October is challenging as we could not get into the Blue Grotto and it was a chilly boat ride. Anna made every aspect thoroughly enjoyable and LOVES what she does. We got some great pictures!
Anna and captain of boat were excellent and enthusiastic. That made a difference in the trip.
Anna and Elpidio were great hosts and very fun
Awesome day. Breathtaking view
Anna & Elpidio did an excellent on the boat ride and taking good care of us. They fed us, we drank and Anna helped us take lots of memorable pictures! It was a perfect day in Capri! Thank you for everything. Mike & Kelley
We had the BEST time on this boat tour—it was hands down the highlight of our stay in Sorrento! Our tour guides dropped us off in Capri first thing in the morning so we could explore the island, then spent the afternoon taking us around the island by boat. This gave us the perfect balance of time to explore on our own and enjoy the beautiful coastline from the water. We stopped to swim in a few caves, and even had lunch and drinks right on the boat! As a group, we decided to skip the Blue Grotto because the line was so long, but we got to swim through another cave that was apparently very similar. Overall, it was such a fun, relaxing, and unforgettable experience. We couldn’t recommend this tour more!
We loved this day! Only complaint is that it was not clear how to flush the toilet in the head. We are not very familiar with individual private boats and the deck hand who was hosting us on this tour only gave of very little info.
Amazing day! Captain Catello was fantastic and Yana was a delight! He took us right into the caves on the boat, what skill! Yana was so wonderful and we enjoyed every minute!
We had an amazing day exploring the Gulf of Naples and Capri with Luca. He was incredibly informative, making sure we learned about all the special attractions along the way, jumping back and forth between English and Spanish so that all the guests on our boat received all the information. He brought us to several special stops, including a natural spring waterfall, and a protected area where we could swim and observe the beautiful local fish. He gave us many interesting stories about the rock formations and the grottos along the way. He was a most gracious host - it was a great day and we HIGHLY recommend!
Luca was absolutely incredible. We had the most amazing time and highly recommend to anyone looking to book a boat tour
Ana was great! Highly recommended this tour, they were awesome!
Pepe and Francesco were the best! Swimming, visiting special landmarks and making the experience fun. Thank you for a wonderful family day. Filled with many memories and special moments that we’ll cherish forever. For our family to yours, many blessings!
We booked this for our honeymoon, and it was the most amazing experience. Rosie was the best tour guide and so sweet. Stunning, stunning views.
Anna and Elpidio expertly lead us to Capri. With beautiful stops along the way and insightful information while keeping it laid back and fun. Anna kept things lively and was kind enough to take pictures for us. Elpidio was a great captain keeping our ride smooth and fun. Thank you for a great memorable day!
Amazing time!! Definitely recommend!! We had the best time with Nino and Rosey. You’ll love the experience!!
Beautiful experience. Highly recommend for anyone visiting.
Anna and Raffy made this experience so enjoyable. Raffy was an excellent experienced boat captain and maneuvered us into the best spots to see the grottoes. Anna was so full of energy and pointed out interesting sights and took photos for us and made us smile the entire time. I would highly recommend this tour to beautiful Capri
We had a great time on this tour! We had a small group of 6, with 3 couples total. Pick up and drop off was easy. Anna was our tour guide and she was amazing. She had such great energy and made us laugh the whole time. Luca was our boat driver and he was fantastic as well. Incredible driving skills as well as being kind with us. Honestly, they were my favorite tour guides we had in Italy. The boat ride was the highlight- Capri island is absolutely beautiful! Just the tour around the coast was worth it over the normal ferry. We also were able to see some incredible caves and grottos including the Blue grotto. We were given enough time to explore the island - we saw Anacapri (with the chair lift) as well as Capri. We got some snacks as well as drinks (soft drinks, Prosecco and beer!). We also received a sandwich which was awesome since the price of food is so expensive. On the way back, we got to jump in the water which was freezing on our particular day but absolutely worth it.
I was super worried about this trip after reading some of the reviews, and the weather forecast not looking great. However, this trip and the weather turned out to be an unforgettable experience. First I want to start with our guide, Anna and our captain, Luca. They were such a great pairing. Anna brought a ton of energy and knowledge and Luca captained a perfect trip, including navigating a pretty impressive wake from a much larger ferry/cruise boat flawlessly. The free drinks and snacks are more than enough for the time spent on the boat. And I’ve seen reviews about the lunch not being good. To each their own, but we thought it was fantastic. We went straight to the Blue Grotto to see that it was closed due to high tide. Those that are disappointed by this and think it’s included are wrong. It clearly states it’s an extra add on. And in my opinion, I wouldn’t want to waste any time in line for it anyways. Luca took us around to several different caves and areas with water so beautiful, you’d have to see to believe. We then went to dock at Capri Marina after touring around the whole island. I would drop a pin or take a picture of the dock area if you’re directionally challenged for when you return it’ll be MUCH busier than when you first get off. What others are saying is true, it is best to bring extra Euros on this trip to pay for the shuttle service. It is a bit chaotic but there are workers at the bus stops to help with any questions. It also beats waiting for a taxi. The line for a taxi in Anacapri was at least 50 people deep around noon. Pay the extra money, you’ll be thankful you did. They took us straight to Anacapri, I would suggest dropping a pin to remember the location when you’re ready to go back. I would also suggest going straight to the chair lift if that’s something you want to do. After a quick bathroom break, we still waited about 30 minutes which would’ve been much less if we used the bathroom on the boat. Lesson learned. The chair lift is another 15 Euro per person round trip but totally worth it. Amazing views from the top and if you’re not interested in shopping, they have a take away bar and a restaurant on top. Overall we had 3.5 hours o. The island and spent all of it in Anacapri. Capri is where all the high dollar fashion stores are at. If that’s what you’re interested in, then just take a shuttle down there after the chair lift or shopping a bit. The shuttle will take you from Anacapri to Capri. Then we didn’t have to get off to join another bus to take back down to the marina, but beware, you may need to. They run every 5 minutes or so. After we all made it back on the boat, which they graciously waited out in the marina for about 5-10 extra minutes for one last couple to get back to the dock before pulling up and letting us back on. On our way back we stopped at a beautiful swimming area. If you don’t want to swim, you can also dip your feet into the sea. It’s so refreshing! Then another stop with a small waterfall and one more where you may get lucky to see some cliff divers in action! And yes, they drop you off in a different location but Luca clearly told us that and the shuttle bus driver was there waiting to pick us up to bring us back to our meeting point. If you’re on the fence about this trip, do it! And I hope you get Anna and Luca. They are a great team!
They don’t cancel in inclement weather. Dangerous experience for us. 8 to 10 foot waves on small boat. Husband and I both got sea sick and vomited on boat. It should have been cancelled.
We really enjoyed this tour. we are very fortunate to get a great captain and mate. They made this trip enjoyable, fun, lots of laughter, and even had the captain sing us a song. He took us into many coves. Excellent driver, lots of stories. Had a chance to swim, which everyone enjoyed. Going to Capri was enjoyable as well, seeing the sites, having a packed lunch from the tour was wonderful, chairlift, everything about this trip was enjoyable. Highly recommend.
Considering that the weather wasn’t the greatest still had a fantastic time and the boat crew were very sociable and made the experience fun.
wonderful! anna and luca were phenomenal
Amazing day! Luca & Anna were fantastic! Would do it again. Luca was a great captain & Anna was the best hostess!!
Ana was out guide and she might be the charismatic person Ive ever met. The boat was awesome! Jamming to music enjoying the sun! Crusing around the island and learning about the folklore. 8 hours went fast, (wish work would feel that fast), but had the rest of the day to enjoy.
Ana and Luca the best, great trip overall. 100% recomended, se vive todos los dias. Gracias
Great experience! Beautiful views! The guys were great ! The swim in the cave was great experience . The chairlift in Anacapri was worth it
This was, by far, the worst experience and value of any tour my daughter and I took during our time in Italy. Overall, it was a very negative experience and a huge disappointment — not only because of the €500 price, but also because of the valuable time we lost that we could have spent actually exploring Capri. The tour description made it sound like we would be spending the day on a beautiful, comfortable boat and enjoying sandwiches, wine, drinks, beer, snacks, etc. Unfortunately, the reality was very different. The first thing that shocked us was the size of the boat. It was extremely small, and there wasn't even enough seating for my daughter and me. All of the seats were taken, so we ended up on the very front of the boat with another couple, where we essentially had to "lay out" because there was no real option to sit or stand comfortably. The weather itself was beautiful, although the water was somewhat choppy. Thankfully, we had taken motion-sickness medication ahead of time because by the time we reached Capri, everyone on the boat appeared to be seasick. I absolutely do not blame the tour company for the sea conditions — but better communication about what was happening would have made a huge difference. Our biggest complaint was the lack of communication. We were taken to Capri and transferred onto small boats, but no one explained the plan for the day. We assumed perhaps we were going to Capri first and that they were hoping the water would calm down later in the afternoon so the Blue Grotto might become an option. But no one actually told us this. We had no idea whether the Blue Grotto was still part of the plan or what was supposed to happen next. We were essentially handed a wrapped sandwich to take with us onto Capri and told that we needed to be back by 1:15, giving us less than two hours in Capri. Despite the tour description promising wine, drinks, beer, snacks, etc., we were not even given a bottle of water or a soft drink with the sandwich. Perhaps the food and drinks were provided on the return portion of the boat trip, which we ultimately missed. If so, that's understandable. But for €500, it would have been nice to at least be given a bottle of water with the sandwich or an offer of a drink or snack on the entire ride to Capri- nothing was offered. We desperately wanted to ride the Monte Solaro chairlift, so we got in the very long line. We knew we were cutting the timing close, but we were faced with a difficult decision because we still had no idea whether the Blue Grotto was going to happen. If we left the chairlift line, we might miss an experience we really wanted, and potentially still end up on a boat feeling seasick without ever getting to the Blue Grotto. So we took the risk and stayed in line. The buses were supposed to run every 15 minutes, but they did not. As a result, we were 30 minutes late and missed the boat. I communicated this to the tour company and absolutely did not expect them to wait for us. We understood that we were responsible for getting back on time. But this situation illustrates exactly why the lack of communication was so frustrating. Had we known the actual plan for the day and whether the Blue Grotto was even going to be possible, we could have made much better decisions about how to spend our very limited time in Capri. Instead, we spent our time rushing and worrying about getting back to the boat. We barely explored Capri at all. That was incredibly disappointing because the time we lost rushing around was time we could have spent actually enjoying Capri. And then came the irony: when we reached the ferry that we had to purchase since we missed the return boat ride, we were told that the Blue Grotto was closed that day anyway. At that point, we were actually relieved that we had missed the boat because we would have returned without getting to experience the Blue Grotto regardless AND missed the chairlift. I want to be fair: the tour company cannot control the weather, choppy water, or whether the Blue Grotto is open. I would never give a negative review simply because the Blue Grotto was closed. What they can control is communication, organization, the expectations created by their tour description, and providing the experience and amenities that are advertised. Unfortunately, this tour fell short in all of those areas. We took several tours during our time in Italy, and this was easily the most disappointing one. For $500, we expected a much better experience — a comfortable boat, clear communication about the itinerary, enough time to actually enjoy Capri, and the food and drinks that were advertised. Instead, we left feeling confused, rushed, seasick, disappointed, and out $500 — plus the additional cost of the ferry back to our hotel. Overall, this was a very negative experience and, in our opinion, a poor value for the money. I would not recommend this tour, especially at this price point.
Rafa and Rosie were the best people & showed us the best hidden swimming spots of Capri! They
Our team was incredible! Captain Raphael and Guide Gennaro were fantastic. They made our day in Italy the most relaxing and enjoyable experience.
What a fantastic day! Our boat tour around the island of Capri was nothing short of perfect. Our guides were fun and knowledgeable and ensured our small group had the best possible experience. Thanks again to our captain and co-captain for everything!
Capri is beautiful. We had plenty of time to explore. We took the blue and white bus up high, then more€ to go up the ski lift to the high point. (That was a long line, but worth it). The only problem was finding the correct bus back to the marina- because no bus is marked for it's destination. We got to visit a blue grotto, green grotto and more. Definitely recommend it. Rafaelo was an awesome captain.
Fabulous!! Highly recommend
Andrew was a great Captian! He was very knowledgeable about the area and really knew how to Captian the boat (I take many boats and know how to navigate the water) and he did so extremely well! He also took great pics of everyone, and we all had a great and safe time!
Giovani and other guy were very great
★★★★☆ I really wanted to give this boat tour five stars because the views and scenery around Capri were absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to visit the Blue Grotto due to weather conditions, which we completely understood. The main concern for us was safety for guests who cannot swim. The day before the tour, another guest and I specifically asked whether life jackets would be available for people who did not know how to swim, and we were told that they had life jackets on the boat. However, when it was time to swim and we asked for them, we were told they were not allowed to provide life jackets because it could raise concerns with the police, and that pool noodles were our only option. We also never saw the life jackets or received any explanation about where they were located or how to use them in an emergency. This made us uncomfortable participating in the swimming portion of the tour. I have done many boat tours around the world, and this was the first time I have ever encountered a situation like this. I would strongly caution anyone who cannot swim to clarify the safety arrangements before booking. I also hope the tour company improves its communication around life jackets and swimming safety so that all guests can feel comfortable and enjoy the experience. The scenery was wonderful, but this issue prevented the tour from being a five-star experience for us.
This was by far the best tour we have ever been on! The energy brought by Anna and Catello was outstanding! The bolt was beautiful and the scenery was spectacular! It was a very personalized tour and we had opportunities to swim and explore areas that we never thought were possible! Thank you for such a fantastic experience!
The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and professional! We had a small group of 8 people and it was so nice and relaxing! We were able to see Capri, Ana Capri and swim in the Mediterranean! The only minor disappointment was we did not get to see the blue grotto. Our tour guide gave our group the option but the wait was 1.5 hours and she said if we did it, they would have to shorten the rest of the tour. Collectively our group didn’t want to wait that long, but just know it’s a possibility of not seeing it. I’m still giving this review 5 stars because it ultimately was our choice to skip it. Overall I loved this tour because it included transportation from our hotel at no additional cost, included lunch, snacks and water, wine and lemoncello. We got to go around the entire island of Capri stopping along the way to see different grottos and landmarks. It was a fabulous, relaxing day.
Captain and mate did a great job They explained everything very well when they stopped at all special locations Also helped us on the buses while on the island of Capri First class
Gennaro and Rafael were fantastic hosts! Small cruise of eight Americans with very private service. Fabulous. I cannot rate high enough. Very gentlemanly to older women.
Gennaro and Rafael are fabulous. So kind and made it really easy. Highly recommend!
Absolutely a great time. Our guide Alessandro was excellent and our boat captain was great both were super friendly we had a great group of people and saw some beautiful coast line.
The trip was amazing. Our tour guide and boat driver were excellent. Full day of education beauty and fun with everyone.
Anna is our tour guide, and she was amazing. So much fun so entertaining so informative all they wanna do is make sure that all the couples had a great time. Capri is a beautiful island, it can get very crowded but we were there in September, which was much better I’m sure. Beautiful island swimming in the water was amazing. Great pictures great fun highly recommend this trip and highly recommend Anna.
Amazing and fun. They do a great job to make sure you have a blast. Its also a competition trying to get into the blue grotto, lol. Your guide fights with others to make sure you can get in there making it interesting
It was a great experience!! The captain and crew were phenomenal I highly recommend this trip.
We had the most amazing day exploring Capri by boat! both Gennaro and Rafael were incredibly friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable, and made the whole experience so much fun. They managed to get us into the Blue Grotto, which was such a highlight, and throughout the day gave us plenty of helpful tips and advice about Capri. The boat experience itself was fantastic, with lots of snacks and drinks provided, plenty of time to swim in the beautiful ocean, and a really relaxed atmosphere. Gennaro even walked us to the marina and gave us recommendations and tips for getting around Capri, which was such a thoughtful touch. Such a perfect day from start to finish and definitely one of the highlights of our trip. Would absolutely recommend this experience to anyone visiting Capri!
Even though the Blue Grotto was closed on the day of our tour, the trip was still amazing! Francesca was so knowledgeable and hospitable, and Nello was an excellent Captain. This tour was definitely one of the big highlights of our 10 day trip to Italy.
So far this was the best part of our trip. Although Capri was very cool (the scenic cliffs and rocks), the best part was our boat tour guide and captain. They made it fun and engaging. Made us feel very welcomed and livened up the atmosphere. The tour guide even got in the cold water with us. The hidden cave (not blue grotto) was an absolutely unforgettable experience for the entire group. Would highly recommend.
