Once everybody has jumped on board and had a little briefing about how we're going to spend the sunset hours, we will be ready to set off to the west towards Praiano. The route will take us along Amalfi Coast’s finest beaches as well as into sea caves. Not too far from the starting point, right after leaving the center of Amalfi, we will get close to the Saint Andrew Grotto, a huge natural sea cave full of stalactites named after the patron saint of Amalfi (Andrea). Then, once passed Duoglio and Santa Croce beaches, we will stop by the "Arc of Lovers", a natural rock arch created millions of years ago by the erosion of the sea whose shape recalls two elephants in the act of kissing. Up to not too long ago young couples used to get married on the top of it. A little later we will cruise in front of the ancient fishermen village of Conca dei Marini, passing near the villa of Sophia Loren and seeing the historic hotel “Il Saraceno” located on La Vite Beach.
Conca dei Marini used to be an ancient fishermen village. Here we will have a beautiful view of Furore and Praiano villages and the islands of Li Galli and Capri, together with the well-known Faraglioni Rocks. We will also get the chance to admire the Santa Rosa Monastery, a former convent now converted into a luxury hotel, once home of the Dominican nuns. It's right in the kitchens of this monastery that the delicious "Sfogliatella Santa Rosa" was born, a shell-shaped pastry filled with ricotta cheese-based cream and little dried fruit pieces, typical of the local culinary tradition (don't forget to taste it before leaving!).
Right after leaving Conca dei Marini village, we will reach then the famous Furore Fjord, the only natural fjord we have in Italy and location of the international diving competition "MarMeeting": every year in July, professional divers from around the world compete by jumping from the top of the bridge which is 28 meters high.
Finally we will go round the cape of Praiano, where we will stop for a break and to go swimming as the warm hues that light up the sky reflect off the shimmering waters. The return trip to Amalfi will give us a different but equally remarkable view of both sea and land.
This was a great sunset tour that provided some history and stunning views! Our guide was wonderful and funny and brought out some champagne, Limoncello, fruits and other drinks as well. It was the perfect amount of time to enjoy the views and we even stopped in the middle of the water to watch the sunset and allow folks to swim.

We were excited about sunset tour given the heat wave coming through this whole area. The directions for the meeting point were clear. I asked for a life jacket and was told “they are here in the boat” I shared that I could not swim but that did not matter. I was not given one nor was I told where they were. The boat ride was nice. We stopped at 2 places which the guide briefly talked about. Other wise there was no other narrative provided for the 2 hour ride. The melon was delicious and the prosecco was nice, but it was literally just one sip in every glass. The limoncello toward the end was an added touch. Although it is advertised as having a bathroom on board, when I asked about using it, I was told it was for an emergency. When we stopped at one of the sites, I was allowed to use it. You have to walk down a ladder to get to it and then closed in with a zippered tarp so no one sees you. Then I pounded on the tarp to let guide know I was done. I have been on many catamaran/boat cruises on my many travels and this was indeed awkward!

The cruise goes from Amalfi to Praiano and returns. At various points it stops to point out natural and celebrity attractions (such as Sophia Loren's vacation home). The longest stop is around Praiano, where, theoretically, there is an opportunity to jump in the water (and possibly snorkel--but I didn't see any snorkeling gear on the boat)--only one person in my group of ten did so. Worth pointing out that a stop in Positano is not in the itinerary. In fact, it is only seen from a distance, and shrouded in darkness due to the sun being completely behind it. So the bright view of Positano that is presented in the marketing of this cruise is false. By contrast, Praiano is seen very well--one face of it is well-illuminated by the setting sun. Fruits, prosecco, and sodas of various kinds are offered. The captain of the boat, in accented English, provided humorous commentary.

This was such a great trip, it was a little rough but the Captain was very good at keeping us as stable as possible whilst refreshing dinks, being tour guide and DJ at the same time, best time of day if full sun is not your thing and 2 hours was perfect. Came back fully satisfied and very happy.

Easy going and relax cruise. Small group trip so you get to enjoy the conversation with strangers. The champagne was good, the fruit was new to me but it was delicious. Over all the views were amazing and the atmosphere very romantic.

We had a great experience on this tour! Paolo was fantastic! He was friendly and provided good information along the way. Unfortunately, it was a cloudy day so we didn't have a good sunset. But, that didn't deter us from having a wonderful experience! We DID get to see some baby dolphins playing which was exciting! We definitely recommend this tour!

The cruise was great! AT first I was a little surprised because the seats were long style as if you were laying down but it was more comfortable and informal than a catamaran style. The playlist was amazing and went perfectly with the amazing views. We had the best melon Ive ever had and even saw a dolphin! The company on the boat was great and we met new friends.

His explanations of what we were looking at, his answering questions, his offering to take our picture at various points, his friendliness and sense of humor made 2 hours feel like 15 minutes. Captain Nick did an exceptional job. We loved his enthusiasm and charm. This excursion is well organized from start to finish and our sunset cruise was the highlight of our trip. We really enjoyed the specular views from the sea and having the opportunity to take a swim was a bonus. We will highly recommend to our family and friends.
Very fun sunset tour. I'd recommend booking before you get there. There are three boats and we noticed ours was all the other couples who were booked for the trip. Our Captain was fun and entertaining, sharing history of the landmarks we passed, drinks, and blankets because it was a little windy. 10/10 recommend if you're staying in Amalfi and want a night event.

The sunset cruise was spectacular, our guide was so attentive and gracious. He brought out drinks and limoncello. We stopped at one point and he took pictures of each group with the sunset. It is one of the best photos by far. The boat is smaller and more comfortable than the larger boats. He played music, definitely created the Italian vibe without feeling like you were on a tour. I highly recommend.
Luigi was informative and a bit of fun. It was a lovely trip even though the weather was a little chilly Could have had a bit more Prosecco and some snacks would have been nice.
The boat was nice and it is lovely looking at the coastline. It was cloudy so the sunset was not too spectacular but we had calm water. Was disappointed that drinks were not offered after one bottle of Prosecco between 8 people. we had to ask constantly for another drink. There was no limoncello and no salty snacks, just a slice of melon. We stopped briefly for a swim. Only went as far as Fiordo di Furore. Did I enjoy the time on the boat? yes… was it value for money? no… would I go again? probably not.

Great boat ride with beautiful views, drinks, and the perfect amount of time. Yes I would recommend! I would however be cautious and not recommend it for anyone who is prone to getting sea sick. VERY rocky water (not sure if it was the time of the year October, due to storms, or if that’s how it always is). My husband has previously been on other boats in Aruba and did fine. The host Paolo was great and so very accommodating. We were initially not planning to get in the water but since my husband was so seasick he jumped in the water to get some relief and Paolo graciously provided us with extra towels to dry him up (as we were not prepared). Thank you!
My husband and I had a great time on the sunset boat tour. Paolo (I apologize if I spelt the name wrong) was funny and provided great conversations. The boat was comfortable and included some fruit and drinks. The sunset is behind the mountains so the sunset view isn’t the best, however I knew that before booking the tour and was okay with it. If you get seasick, I would take some medication beforehand, as a couple people on our boat felt sick.
We had an amazing time on the cruise! Worth every cent and would recommend to anyone looking for a great way to view the coast from the water. Got to enjoy some Prosecco and snacks on the water too!

We loved our sunset boat cruise! We were staying in Ravello and took the SITA bus down to Amalfi. This cruise made our trip feel truly relaxing. We enjoyed the prosecco and limoncello treats while watching the sunset. We had a fun group and great boat captain who made the experience even better. Highly recommend!!

We really enjoyed this tour since it showed us around the towns and allowed us to see a different view of them. The staff was all very friendly. We had some fruits, champagne and limoncello on board. I also really appreciated that the boat had a non salt water shower so we could take all the salt water off before getting back to the coast.

We had an amazing Sunset boat trip with Giorgia and Andrea as our Host and Captain! Great crack, plenty of booze music and dancing! Highly recommend, great way to spend an evening, and was perfect on our anniversary.
