We had a wonderful experience with Micheal. His love for his craft doesn’t go unnoticed! He descriptions and pairings were delicious. A bonus was that we met a fabulous woman who was always there. This experience was a highlight of our trip! When we return to Sorrento we would definitely visit Michael again.

We visited this place on a sunny afternoon and were greeted with a warm, friendly welcome. Michael was not only engaging but incredibly knowledgeable about the wines and cheeses on offer. The pairings were spot on — each wine complemented the cheeses and sides beautifully. I’m a red wine lover, while my wife prefers something lighter, and Michael effortlessly catered to both of our tastes with thoughtful recommendations. The venue itself is small but charming, creating a relaxed atmosphere where we never felt rushed. We were even able to linger a little longer to enjoy more wine, which is always a bonus. A wonderful experience all around.

This is a wonderful option if you're not up for a full day farm trip, which seems to be what most of the choices are in and around Sorrento. It was an oasis of cool and calm on a busy, warm day. My friend and I had the place to ourselves and our guide was attentive and funny and we learned so much about local wine and cheese and how simple pairings are delicious when they are fresh, local, and top quality! We were able not only to try favorites again but also to purchase the wines we liked. We never felt rushed or pressured and I would happily go back.

So much information and history about the local cheese and local wine. One of the best experiences in Sorrento. This was worth every penny!!! We will book other experiences with this amazing host at Casa Banana.

A fantastic afternoon tasting beautiful local wines and cheeses! Michael’s warm and welcoming personality make you feel at home from the moment you walk through the door. We would love to return for a cooking class next time we visit the area.

Absolutely loved this!! Michele was so welcoming and informative. The wines were perfectly paired with the cheeses. The fresh bread, pesto, puttanesca were all amazing. Casa Banana is also a warm, unique venue with a great history. Amazing how much we learned.. We will and would recommend this to anyone spending time in Sorrento.

Wow! What a lovely way to end our trip in Sorrento! Our host was lovely and friendly and very knowledgable. The venue is beautiful and felt very relaxing. The wines and cheese were all excellent and accompanied with fresh bread, homemade pesto, cherry tomatoes and salami. Thank you for a lovely evening 🙂

We visited to do wine and mozzarella tasting and we had a great time! The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming with plenty of knowledge on the wines we were tasting. The cheese we tried were delightful as was the fresh bread and homemade puttanesca sauce and pesto to accompany. We stayed longer than our time slot as the host was happy to let us enjoy the wine and loved every minute. The location is very central within Sorrento. Definitely worth booking when visiting, you will not be disappointed!

Fantastic experience - We had looked at a number of wine tastings, but we're so glad we did this one! Stunning venue, knowledgeable and friendly host, and overall, a very enjoyable 90 minutes trying delicious cheeses and cracking wines.

My partner and I visited Casa Banana for a wine and mozzarella tasting last night, and it was by far our favourite experience in Sorrento. Michele was incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and generous with the wine! He served only local cheeses and wines, and the pairings were perfect. This experience is a must if you're in Sorrento.

This is a must do when in Sorrento! Michael is the most wonderful host. We enjoyed a wine tasting and also a fabulous private dinner event for 30 of our family/friends. The place is so chic, great attention to detail is given, and a wonderful experience will be had by all! Come for a class, or even better, host your own private event! You won’t regret it!
