Great hotel. Very attentive staff. Was a little hard to find originally but once here no problems. Rooms are on the smaller side, especially the shower but tidy & clean. Location is surrounded by local restaurants serving great food. Central Sorrento is approximately 1:6 klms , with one , short steep set of stairs. But very walkable, just take your time.

We had a wonderful stay here. The staff were friendly, we particularly enjoyed the complimentary snacks given when by the pool! The room was gorgeous. We were upgraded to a suite on the top floor which was huge with the most amazing terrace and view. We stayed in peak summer and the aircon was fantastic. The room had a fridge too. Breakfast was great - good variety, delicious pastries and an omelette station! We only ate here for lunch twice but it was very nice. It’s a 10/15 min walk into town but very easy to get there, the first part is uphill but then levels out. Mariana grande is lovely and has lots of restaurants. It was also so nice to be by the water rather than in town, much quieter. I’d highly recommend the Admiral for anyone wanting relaxing, beautiful stay in Sorrento!
Love this place, My wife and I stayed for a week in July. The location is great, on the edge of Marina Grand, so quiet and peaceful yes moments away from activity and restaurants. Sorrento town is up the hill, 15 mins walk or a 1euro bus ride. The Hotel is clean, modern and friendly. The restaurant is great too and had the best Tiramisu in town. The skybar is wonderful. The hotel was clean and staff very helpful. Our room 404, was great quality and even better views.
The room is very small with no shelves or drawers for clothes. The balcony looks out onto a brick wall about 2 mtrs away, no sun, side view of the sea past 3 more balconies. We had room 219, so don't choose this room or 218 or 217. The breakfast is amazing and the staff are all lovely. The hotel is in a great position so long as you don't mind dragging your suitcase a short distance as no cars can get close. The rooms are well decorated and very clean. The hotel is in a prime position right on the front of Marina grande.
The hotel has been closed for renovation and it soon became apparent, we were the first customers back. The hotel has the best water views which was the first thing I notice. The second is the wonderful theme of water flowing through it, from the decor to the pool. The manager Paco, came to see us personally and gave us complimentary drinks, for being first through the door. The room was lovely, very bright and airy, the balcony allowed you to see, well, the sea. I loved watching the fishermen in the morning, it was very relaxing. The bathroom was a good size and clearly again, we were the first ones in. The bedroom furniture was functional, somewhere to work or write or just sit. A nice comfortable bed, with good pillows. Good decor, very Mediterranean. Downstairs the restaurant was lovely, we are sad we only ate there one night, because it was the best food we experienced in Sorrento. This is not a Michelin restaurant, but it tastes Michelin in its style and I feel that in time this place will get its honour. I cannot praise Paco and his team enough, this is a classy hotel, but not too classy to be pretentious all the staff are incredibly welcoming, from the guy at the top, to the chap that cleans the terrace in the mornings and the cleaning team. No issue was too great and we 100% will be back again.
