Tuk Tuk Tour Around Lagos Old & New Town & Beaches - Best Way To Know Lagos

This was a great way to see the new and old areas/town of Lagos! There are some tougher climbs to see some of the sights in Lagos and the Tuk Tuk does all the work! Great explanations about the area, history and culture. Our guide Clara did a fantastic job!

Nuno is an excellent resource for getting to know Lagos. As a 5th generation resident his knowledge of the area is tremendous. He has a passion for what he does and teaches you along the tour. By far the best Tuk Tuk tour I’ve taken. I highly suggest you consider taking this tour.

Great overview of Lagos - should have done it first day

Carla was a great communicator, she gave us a lot of historic and current information about the area. We saw all the beautiful beaches! It has helped us understand the area. Very fun and you cover a lot of ground.

Great way to get a feel for Lagos! It was perfect for us as my mum has limited mobility, so this allowed her to still see some of the sights. Carla was friendly and accommodating. Pick up and drop off were seamless.

We are not normally into organised tours but so glad we did this one. Really good fun and got to see a lot of Lagos that we wouldn’t have seen by foot. Our guide was lovely and knowledgeable. She even dropped us in the old town when we finished so that we could have a longer look and some lunch. Very worth while and would highly recommend.

Communication was great, Nuno was so accommodating despite our late arrival meeting up for the tour. Carla was wonderful! She took us through Old Town, New Town and the top of the cliffs/caves. Great way to get a layout of Lagos and learn about the rich culture and history. Highly recommend for anyone with mobility issues. Lagos can be challenging for seniors and this was a perfect way to sightsee. Nono was awesome!

Great way to see and learn about the area.

This a great way to be introduced to the area. We travelled the town and surrounding beaches becoming familiar with landmark and some of the history of Lagos. Nino Silva was our knowledgeable driver and host. He is obviously very passionate with his hometown. We would highly recommend the tour and our driver!

Along the way, the guide pointed out great restaurants, bus routes and recommended activities to enjoy Lagos to the fullest extent. I would definitely recommend starting your stay with this excursion to enhance your remaining time in Lagos.

This was just an incredible experience. Our driver Nuno and joint business owner (his wife) offer something really very special. We did this on the first day of our trip to get a feel for Lagos and what it had to offer. If you only do one trip in Lagos, do this!! From the minute Nuno picked us up in his fabulous, impeccably clean, spacious and very very comfortable Tuk Tuk, we were taken along the beautiful Marina, in through the bustling streets of Lagos and out of the city up to the stunning Ponta Da Piedade lighthouse. Along the way, Nuno provides a detailed history lesson of Lagos and his pride at showing people around his place of birth just shines out. The views from the cliff tops were just breathtaking and Nuno ensured he took us on to safe areas to look out in awe and soak up the beauty that was in front of us. We also got up very close with a couple of little local critters, just magical. The time passed so quickly and it was so much fun. I won't include photos as you have to see the views from this vantage point to really appreciate what is in front of you. No iPhone photo would ever do it justice. We did do the local Ponta Da Piedade cave tour by boat a few days later and whilst we enjoyed it, the Tuk Tuk tour surpassed this and the views from on the cliffs were so much more spectacular. Do not miss this unique and fun experience.

An excellent way to get a really informed overview to Lagos, before you then go back and visit the areas in more detail. The old, the newer and the coast. Carla gave an intro to Lagos including history, shopping, beaches and the fish restaurant that she recommended to use turned out to be the best we had ever had. All in all throughly recommend this trip.

We took a tuk-tuk tour on the first day of our trip, and it was a fantastic way to get to know the town. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and gave us a great overview of the area, including some interesting history and local stories. It was a fun and relaxing way to get our bearings and see some of the town’s highlights. We really enjoyed the experience and would definitely recommend taking a tuk-tuk tour early in your trip—it’s a great introduction to the town!

What can I say about this incredible trip! Nuno was so incredibly knowledgeable with lots of interesting facts about the city and history of Portugal. We visited several beaches, went through the narrow cobblestone streets of the old city and visited some of the new neighbourhoods, we would 100% recommend these tours. We booked directly with Nuno using his phone number via WhatsApp, and arranged to meet in the town and he turned up exactly on time with a warm greeting. Best value for money trip we’ve done so far on our visit to the algarve.

Great way to see Lagos and cave formations on rugged coastline without an exhausting uphill walk in the heat. Our tour guide collected us up from the station which was a great pick up point as it has cafe and toilets …she phoned ahead as she was running late due to traffic which was much appreciated.

This tour was excellent and very enjoyable. Our guide was very friendly and informative. We enjoyed her company. We saw such a lot on the tour and learnt about the history of Lagos. Without the tour we would have wandered around the old town but would have missed a lot in the back streets and certainly the beaches. Well worth the money and would certainly recommend.
