Hugo and his boat driver were excellent guides! Hugo shared a lot of stories with the tour and made it extremely fun with great comedic comments! Shared the tour with some families, had a bit of a thrill ride on the way back for the kids. That extra bit of fun made it a great tour! It was a great view from the water , we did the boardwalk later that night and it doesn’t compare to seeing it from the water!

It was a Wonderful trip with absolutely gorgeous scenery. Going in and out of the grottos is magical. Our captain was very skilled.

Was a great experience. Maybe 10 people on the boat. Boat was small enough to navigate around caves etc.

It was excellent, the guide spoke multiple languages and was very personable, the captain was very skilled and safe with the boat in some of the tight spaces and most importantly the sights were beautiful!

Very nice boat ride along the coast and into tge caves. Many if the larger boats weren’t able to enter. Hugo snd driver Dennis did an excellent job

The cave tour was a great way to see the beautiful coastline. The water was a little choppy the day we went but our driver was able to make it as smooth of a ride as possible and also get inside of a couple of caves. We had a great time and It would be even more amazing on a calm day. I would recommend this tour.

A Great Experience! 8 person boat was just the right size to get into the smallest caves. Very comfortable and spectacular views. Special thanks to guides Pedro and Eduardo who are skilled, knowledgeable about all the caves, beaches, and sites along the way. AND they are hilarious - made the tour so much fun!

This experience is a must!!! We were greeted right on time at the white entry gate by our guide Hugo and captain Seca. A nice group of ten guests in a smaller vessel is the way to go for maneuvering in and out of the grottos. Seca was an exceptional boat handler as he was from Lagos and lived his life on the water. Our amazing guide Hugo was constantly giving us information as we moved along, in English, French and Portuguese no less! Very knowledgeable and humourous as well! The grottos and rock formations are breathtaking, so amazing what nature can do! Highly recommend!

The boat captain was a phenomenal navigator through the caves. Great viewers of the cliffs and refreshing due to the land heat.

Hugo was an informative (& good humoured) guide for the tour, learnt about local history & recommendations for restaurants etc too. Very pleased with the choice of operator for that and it was good value too. And not forgetting the captain who was a skilful navigator, particularly in and out of the caves!

It was incredible!! it was a perfect amount of time also. We knew we would see caves but didn't know we'd actually go into and through some! Hugo a vaco make a fantastic team!

We wanted a short boat trip and this was the perfect length for us. The guide and driver were great and took care of safety and fun for all passengers. We loved seeing the different grottos along Ponte da Piedade. We also got lucky and saw some dolphins.

We had an amazing experience exploring the caves/grottos around Ponta da Piedade. Our boat driver, Jack, was exceptional. His boat-handling skills were truly impressive — he took us into places that seemed almost impossible to reach, navigating through the caves and narrow passages with the utmost skill and confidence. It was clear that Jack knows these waters incredibly well. He was able to get into areas that many other boat drivers simply can’t, making the experience feel unique and unforgettable. And the ride back to the marina? So much fun! Jack added a little extra speed, which was the perfect way to finish an already fantastic trip. 😄 Book this tour — you won’t be disappointed! Highly recommended, and if you’re lucky enough to have Jack as your driver, you’re in for an especially memorable experience.

I don't recommend using this company for tours. The meeting point info on the Viator ticket wasn't specific enough (marina has many gates & the gate info wasn't on the ticket). I couldn't find the meeting point, so I missed the tour to Ponta da Piedade. Very disappointing. The tour operator blamed me for not being able to find the meeting point but I had never been in Portugal before and they don't have a kiosk at the marina, so no staff on-site to help. Also, the tour operator said no one else had ever had issues finding their meeting point but I saw a review online from someone else who had the same experience as me. The tour operator was unsympathetic & unfriendly and refused to refund my fee. I was offered to go on a later tour instead but I was only in Lagos for a short time, and the later tour conflicted with my schedule. Luckily, I was able to book a tour with a different company who had a physical location on the marina (Dolphin Seafaris). I recommend that people use the other company (Dolphin Seafaris) instead - they were kind and their Ponta da Piedade tour was so much fun!

If you would like a fun and memorable “must do” experience, check out this one. We were greeted by Hugo who was our guide. He is extremely knowledgable, engaging and funny - really made the trip extra enjoyable. The captain of the boat was impressive. He got us into small spaces to see amazing sights, ceilings, and grottos including some of the brightest turquoise blue water I have ever seen. We had a great adventure and highly recommend to anyone looking for one like it! On a side note, we have never seen a white boat interior so clean - it was absolutely pristine! Thank you for a memorable experience!

We really enjoyed our boat tour to inside the caves and grottos of Ponta da Piedade. The scenery was absolutely beautiful, and seeing the rock formations and caves from the water was a wonderful experience. The tour was well organized, and it was a great way to explore one of the most beautiful places in Lagos. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Algarve!

The boat trip itself was excellent but we almost missed it because the directions we were sent did not make sense: we were told to go to meeting point 9 - the meeting points were not numbered. With two kids in 30+ degree heat, I ended up going from one end of the marina to the other several times. I am therefore hesitant recommending this trip as I’m sure there are similar boat trips.

We had the best tour, captain Jack and his co-captain were excellent at giving us the most incredible information with a sense of humor. They spoke Portuguese, Spanish, English and French. Took us to the most breathtaking sites of Lagos. In my opinion, they were the friendliest people we encountered that whole day. I'd definitely recommend. The tour was just over 1hr long amd we thought the price was more than reasonable for that length of time.

Was great value for money and such a fun little trip. The staff were so friendly and the boat not overpacked so it really was a lovely experience. Can’t recommend enough.
