Sunset Off-road Algarve Natural Park West Coast Secret Spot Tour

This was an incredible way to see some out-of-the-way places. Our driver was knowledgeable and told us a lot of great stories about the area. The one downside to the truck we were in was that the back seats were positioned sideways and were up a bit higher than the second row. We took turns sitting in different places in the truck, but if you were in the back you had to bend down to see out the windows and you were sitting sideways, which was difficult because my wife has a bad back. We saw amazing views and went to a beach we would have never seen on our own. Our driver had some skills!!

This 4X4 tour was great. It’s a small group which means lots of fun interaction with the guide and others on the tour. Pedro Luz is an excellent guide and great driver. The off-road portion is exhilarating and the sunset was beautiful.

The guide was great and was very experienced on the back roads. The wine and pastry were a nice touch.

This experience was extraordinary! If you come to the Algarve region and miss Sagres, you will have missed a jem of Portugal.

Great tour - learning about Sagres. Our tour guide was great with his driving skills throughout and our drive down to the beach. Was nice to enjoy a snack with seeing an amazing sunset.

We had no idea what to expect with this trip. We stopped at 4 different stops, so nice to see areas we never would have gone to. Watching the sun set, stunning! Even more enjoyable with a wine and a pastel de nata!

Wonderful guide. He took us to Sara's and give us bit of history. Afterwards, we went off road, which was really fun. The viewpoints and sunset were spectacular! The wine and paistis da nada were a nice touch.

What a unique experience! Coastal sights of Sagres at the end of the day, off-roading to see amazing beaches with maybe only a few surfers and then catching a beautiful sunset was a great addition to our Algarves trip. Our guide Rafael was awesome!!! I would wholeheartedly also recommend this experience to all of my family and friends.

We had an amazing 4x4 tour with Eduardo! He made the experience really enjoyable. We loved seeing the incredible views and watching the sunset from areas that you simply can’t reach with a normal car or SUV. It was a great way to see a different side of the Algarve, and we would definitely recommend this tour!

This was an unbelievable adventure - simply the best trip leaving you with fantastic pictures and memories. Sandro was a great guide and driver. Very knowledgeable and kept us fully informed as we went from place to place. Nothing was too much trouble. The wine and pastries watching an amazing sunset was a great end. Cannot recommend this enough and Sara also deserves a mention for the organisation - wonderful adventure.

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed this tour. The views were stunning and we even saw a pod of dolphins when looking down into the ocean from on top of a cliff. Pedro was an excellent guide and made sure we had a great experience and shared lots of great info about the history of the places we passed and the plants of the area.

Highly recommend. Our guide, Rob, made the tour that much better - he was punctual, friendly, knowledgeable and made us all feel safe and welcomed. The tour itself was great, with just the right amount of time at each stop. Company itself was quick to respond to inquiries and very easy to communicate with.

We did the sunset tour as a family of four and it was easily one of the highlights of our time in the Algarve. Pedro was fantastic! Friendly, knowledgeable and full of great local insight. The off-road drive was a lot of fun and took us to places we never would have found on our own, including an amazing secluded beach. The final sunset spot was spectacular! Away from the crowds, high above the coast with incredible views. Finishing the evening with a drink and pastel de nata while watching the sun go down was a perfect ending. Definitely more than just a sunset tour and a great way to see a completely different side of the Algarve. Would absolutely recommend Pedro and Sagres Discovery, especially for families.

Honestly thought it was just a jeep ride to the lighthouse and then watch the sunset with many other tourists. But it was so much more than expected - proper off-road tracks, local beach where you need a 4wd to get to, and secret sunset spot on the cliffs all to ourselves. Guide had plenty of knowledge and very relaxed.

I admit, when I first got into the jeep at pickup I had apprehension but once the tour continued and we hit sunset I was amazed. Funny enough everyone in my tour was from the States! Our tour guide, Thiago was great. An experienced driver and felt safe while off roaming. Note that there will be several stops but they just let you off and freely roam. It isnt guided per se for the stops. But the final couple of stops were incredible. We started seeing the sunset on a private beach and the final spot with wine and a pastel de nata was perfection. I booked this tour last minute and am so glad I did!

Had an amazing experience doing the sunset tour led by Rob! He was very friendly, filled the journey with interesting tidbits about the areas we were driving through, and it was great getting to know him and learning a lot about Portugal and the Algarve along the way. One of the highlights of my trip so far. Highly recommend this tour and can’t wait to tell everyone I know about the views I saw. Thanks so much and great job Rob!

A wonderful way to experience the hard to reach parts of Portugal. We traveled with our 5 year old who had as much fun as we did but he really enjoyed the “roller coaster” hills. All five stops were perfect, we had an amazing driver and the sunset with snacks and wine were the perfect ending. If you are in the Algarve, this trip is a must do! Other notes: the driver picks you up where you are staying and it does get chilly at night so bring a warmer shirt or jacket.

It was nice, we watched the eclipse and the sunset in 2 amazing places. Take a jacket or a houdie because it is super windy and it gets chilly

What a fantastic way to sea parts of Portugal that you wouldn’t be able to get to otherwise. Our guide Diago was brilliant, so knowledgeable about the area, with a lot of love for his country and the natural world. The wind on our first stop made us all laugh as it caught us by surprise. The beach we went to was stunningly beautiful, wild, windy and untouched compared to the other Portuguese beaches we’d been to. The rollercoaster drive was great fun! The last stop, for the sunset was very atmospheric. The pastel de nata and wine delicious. A great trip!

Good fun with knowledgeable guide. Lovely sunset setting right on top of the cliffs with spectacular views. Stop at hidden beach where there are big waves. First stop after 25 min drive to Sagres port was not really our favourite as not much to see. Off-road part was good fun. Vehicle had 6 people plus driver so quite cramped. No air con so wild and windy. Overall it was fun!

What an amazing & unique experience! Thiago was very knowledgeable & entertaining. The entire tour was great! Enjoyed all the stops including the wine pit stop in the small fishing town, the end of the world and onecofcthecprettiest sunsets I’ve seen in my life. My advice for participants would be 1) bring an adventurous easy breezy attitude, comfortable clothes, a jacket or wrap, & some sort of head covering to keep your hair in check during the ride (windows open, windy). This will be one of our top memories here, and we’ve had a fabulous time across the board. This is truly an insiders tour and the pictures won’t do the views justice.

This was a once in a lifetime experience. If your in the area and want to be shown some of the most beautiful places on Portugal I recommend this. Pablo made the trip unforgettable. We got off to a slow start but the more we traveled into the Algarve the more we saw & learned! Diago was a true earth lover, fisherman & good steward of the planet! He took us to remote locations & off road down to the ocean! We all had a pastel da nata & a Glass of red wine to celebrate the end of another day! This was place we would not have been able to get to on our own! This is a special tour!

You'll bee provided the most unique experience of watching the most picturesque sunset in the perfect place of all - where neverending sky meets neverending ocean! This experience was an unforgettable, wondrousand, once in a lifetime moment. Pedro provided a safe ride and showed us some of the treasures of Sagres' land.

This was such an exciting and unforgettable experience! Our driver promptly picked us up at our hotel. We grabbed two other couples and then were off to see some incredible sites. Our tour started with a visit to a local marina which has great views of the nearby coastline. We then took a brief pause in a small town for folks to use the bathroom and grab a glass of wine. Next stop was a lighthouse at the "end of the world" which truly felt like we were on the edge of the Earth. There were incredible cliff views and spectacular winds. Next we went off-roading to a remote beach among cliffs. Finally, we went off-roading to an isolated bluff for the sunset. Our guide supplied everyone with a Pastel de Nata and glasses of wine for the sunset. The views all around were spectacular and this trip definitely results in the best photos of our trip. The off-roading was exciting but not too intense, so is a good experience for first-timers. We were back at our hotel by about 10pm. Definitely would recommend!

My sister and I had an incredible time on the sunset tour! Sandro was a fantastic guide, knowledgeable, friendly and passionate about the area. He took us to some truly stunning viewpoints and we were even lucky enough to spot mountain goats at our final sunset stop which was such a memorable experience. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting. Make sure to bring sweaters as it can get chilly later in the night.

This was such a great experience! Recommend wearing pants and bringing a sweater or jacket- the wind is no joke! The views are breathtaking. You dont want to miss this one!

It was a nice trip upon our first dat in Lagos! The way to the secret spot was adventurous, we had a guide who showed us different herbs and explained us about the enviroment.

We booked this last minute and it was worth it. The ride at times was a little uncertain, but Pedro took good care of us. Beautiful views without a soul around. The car handled well, but was not good for 4 people. We were with another couple that were not nice. My husband was stuck in the back, and they wouldn’t crack their window to get him some air. Seating Not suitable for 4 adults.

This tour was booked for me by Journee, as part of my holiday experience and it really added to the excitement and overall enjoyment! Being picked up and dropped off at your accommodation is a nice touch, that takes away any pressure of trying to find the right place. Tiago, our driver, was very welcoming, friendly, funny and of course, knowledgeable; and showed us all the best spots to explore. He was also great at making a group of strangers in a car together, feel comfortable and at ease, and had us laughing and joking like we'd all met before! That takes a special person! The end destination was truly mesmerising, and I honestly could have spent the whole day there, just watching the world go by. Its a breathtaking place that just seemed to instantly relax you and take all your troubles away. I loved it! I truly did! Thank you Tiago and Sara for a memorable experience. I'll definitely be back one day!

This adventure started out a bit slow with a stop in Sagres and a snack in Amado to see the beaches and coastline. Then it picked up as we visited the Cabo de sao Vincente Lighthouse. The ocean was dynamic and hitting the cliff faces dramatically. The rugged Portuguese shoreline was standing solid against the crashing waves below. Then we had a drive through a national preserve on our way to a rock strewn beach before headin g for our final destination. We settled atop a cliff near the Praia do Castelejo. The view was spectacular with no sign of human intrusion. We watch the sun sink for about a half an hour, almond pastry in one hand, glass of wine in the other. When the show was over, after a period of brief reflection, our guide took us to a bustling, family-style pizza spot to polish off the day.

This was an unforgettable experience and we are so glad we booked it! Our guide, Tiego, was very friendly and knowledgeable about the region. The jeep tour was a ton of fun, especially for our kids. The views at all of our stops were beautiful and the final stop to watch the sunset was stunning.

This was an excellent trip and some lovely places. It was made even better as our guide Thiago was so patient and kind with our 3 year old who unfortunately woke up early from a nap just before the tour started and was very upset getting in the jeep. Thanks for helping us out.
