Ponta Da Piedade 1h15m Boat Guided Tour In Algarve

We did the Bengali cave tour and it was incredible. Starting from the booking with Sonia who was great to the boat guide and Captain. We were unsure if we wanted to do a boat tour and were so happy we did! We also got a bonus of seeing dolphins right up at the boat :)

We needed to move our time ahead and Pedro was gracious to accomodate us. We explored a lot if caves, drove through arches and many inlets uo close.

Great experience. The guide was very knowledgeable and was very funny and engaging and made the trip an exciting and fun experience

Amazing experience- one of the highlights of our trip to Lagos and the Algarve! I was concerned with the wind, which seemed to kick up on our travel day, however, was pleasantly surprised when we stepped upon our Happy Times boat. The Captain Valentin maneuvered amazingly through the tightest cracks and coves that one can imagine and yet like an expert car driver! We were entertained throughout and provided interesting information on the several rock, formations caves, and grottos that we experienced with a running dialogue both in English in Portuguese by Bruno out friendly guide - we highly recommend!

The boat marina was easy to find, the boat ride was great. It was the right length. We went through caves and sped back. Tour was about 1 hour so I felt we were cut short.

Such a great way to spend an hour. The caves around lagos are amazing. So beautiful. And our small boat got right into the heart of them. The young man Luiz providing the commentary had such a lovely friendly manner and kept us engaged.

We had an amazing experience with Happy Times Turismo! The boat ride was so much fun, and the cave tour was absolutely beautiful. The guide explained everything along the way, there was music on the boat, and we even had the opportunity to stop and swim. The staff was exceptional—friendly, professional, and made the whole experience unforgettable. I highly recommend this tour. It is definitely a must-try when visiting Lagos, Portugal!

Excellent experience, memorable with all the staff, including the sunset and visiting the caves. Special mention to Captain weather, Captain Lukas, Vanessa, Jessica and Pedro The waters were choppy, but they made this an excellent experience.

We had a perfect time with them. We had some special necesities and they make us feel confortable and secure all the time. We even saw dolphins!!! It was a great experience, I would repeat with the for sure!

We had such a great time on this tour with Lucas and Captain Pedro! Despite the high waves, they made the experience incredibly exciting by taking us into some of the caves whenever it was safe to do so, always keeping the safety of everyone on board as their top priority. Lucas and Pedro are both funny, energetic, and passionate about what they do, which made the whole tour even more enjoyable. We had another group tour of Caves by kayaks the day before but this one is a different experience that you shouldn’t miss if you’re visiting the area. We booked a private tour for 9 people, great value, easy to find, good communication. The tour was great, we got right in to the smallest caves along with the kayaks. Our guide gave us an interesting and entertaining summary of the sights along the way. Would use 'happy time' again

A great experience for seeing the amazing geography on the beaches of Lagos. Our two guides were very polite, positive and safety conscious. We departed right on time. They get their boats really close to all the rock features. It’s an exhilarating ride!!!! Would do it again well worth the money!

Great tour company with excellent customer service. They were not able to provide this particular tour this evening because of rough seas that made it impossible to enter the caves. They offered us the sunset cruise leaving later that evening and/or our original cruise the next day. We joined to sunset party cruise and had a wonderful time. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time. Highly recommended this company. Such a great experience.

Excellent trip with knowledgeable and hilarious captain and skipper - both named Pedro. We learned about the history of the fishermen named beaches and Lagos and saw the most beautiful cliffs and blue water. I would 100% do this again.

Great experience, professional crew made the trip safe and fun. Husband and wife team were great. The skipper gave us a good commentary about the area and the caves. Plenty of opportunities to take photos. Great seeing the shoreline from the boat, so much history and natural beauty.

We had to postpone the trip by a day due to very strong winds. Happy Time was very accommodating. The tour with the Pedros ( um e dois) was informative and entertaining and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Great scenery, great guys. Highly recommend. They take your safety very seriously, and don’t enter caves if it’s not safe

Stunning views and beautiful boat ride to Ponta da Piedade! The captain and the tour guide were very entertaining and made the ride to and back super fun! Loved the ride back where we went faster! Everything was organized and the whole experience was a perfect way to start our day!

Vanessa and Alberto made this trip an absolute blast! Their playful banter and jokes along the ride only enhanced the stunning scenery that surrounded us. If you are in Lagos, this short trip is a must-do, to fully take in the caves and cliffs of the Ponte de Piedade. We booked around sunset time which made seeing a challenge sometimes but when the sun hits the cliffs and paints them bright orange, it is indescribable.

We had booked a different tour which could not go due to lack of numbers on the big boat so Vanessa offered this one on the same day and a trip to the caves of Benagil for the next day, which was also excellent. Bruno and his fisherman Skipper were informative and funny. The skipper could get the boat close into the caves and bays. The trip back was exhilarating and fast.

Pedro and Bruno is very knowledgeable about everything they have to show us. They cared about our safety and well being during our journey. Funny guys, fun, safe and knowledgeable that’s all we need when we are on vacation. Will definitely recommend for others and will do it again next time.

Great overview of the caves and beaches around Ponte Piedade. Reasonably priced with optional cash tips. Depending on the tides one enters many of the caves and receive details regarding the names of the various caves and some history. The boat was spacious and clean and we experienced friendly service in English.

Bruno & Pedro are absolutely delightful! I really really enjoyed the tour! Hands down the most fun short tour I’ve ever done! Definitely worth it. Bruno is super personable & goes above and beyond with including everyone on the boat! This size of boat is the best way to see the caves. You can go everywhere the kayaks go but stay in the comfort of a boat with great guides.

Great boat trip, although the captain did mis judge one of the waves and as a result hurt our backs a little, it was fine but if you are elderly or have a sensitive back take caution. Also we were sat at the front which is a rougher ride. What they don't say in is if the seas are a little too rough they wont go into some of the cave (obvious really), as in our case the sea was lively so there were some caves we only saw from the outside of but I don't think we were missing out on much. Otherwise a very good operator and a very good price, Paid through Trip Advisor in USD only worked out £46 for 2 adults and 2 kids.!

What an awesome trip we've had today 10AM :) forget about the big boats heading for the beautiful Algarve coast - be smart, go small! Choose Happy Tour!! It was so much fun for us and our three little ones to be in the good hands of our two guides (Bruno as big-hearted ❤️ speaker, Pedro as absolute pro on the controls🎖🚤) while enjoying the wonders of nature. We did not know which boat trip to take out to see the famous grottoes at Lagos but as soon as we spoke to Sonia on the promenade, we were sold. She is the best saleswoman on a row of similar stands all offering various boat trips. The trip itself was great. The two man crew were friendly and knowledgeable and took us in and around all the caves and grottoes in a small boat. It was a lovely trip and I recommend Happy Time for all boat tours.

We have booked two tours with Happy Time: one to the Benagil caves and another to Ponta da Piedade. Both trips were fantastic. The views were breathtaking, and we had the chance to take many beautiful photos to remember our experience. The guides were very friendlyand shared interesting facts and stories about the coastline. Sonja, who helped us with the booking, was incredibly kind and helpful. She took the time and made sure everything was well organized. Overall, we had a wonderful experience with Happy Time and would highly recommend them to anyone who wants to explore the Algarve coast!

What a great experience, Bruno the guide was informative, clearly loved Lagos and explained the history and value of respecting our environment..Pedro the captain expertly navigated the coastline and allowed us the joy of witnessing some breathtaking views...what a beautiful country Portugal is !

Views were great, staff was friendly enough. Tour was 15 minutes shorter than advertised with no explanation. Not major complaints but didn’t quite meet the expectations based on other tours we’ve had in the Algarve recently.

we booked our cave tour at Lagos boardwalk where many companies were offering trips. We ended up going with Happy Times because Sonia was super convincing—and we’re glad we did! She gave our group of 7 a private tour, which made the experience even more special. The views were absolutely beautiful, and Pedro, our guide, was a great storyteller—funny and full of interesting facts. Overall, a fantastic experience!

The two Pedro’s were awesome! They were excellent tour guides with great knowledge! Pedro totally knew how to drive the boat and get it in and out of the caves! I’m very nervous on boats and I felt in very good hands with those two young men! The most impressive other thing was their integrity and kindness! They helped rescue a middle aged couple who were takin water in their kayak. They were the only tour guides to stop and help! They have our total respect!!! Thank you so much for the best tour!!

A very charismatic sales lady (Sonja I think) on the Lagos harbour sold us the trip - we were reluctant due to windy weather- so glad we took her advice and booked the trip! What an outstanding experience; the incredible beauty of the caves was enhanced by excellent boat navigation, humorous storytelling & overall fun! Sonja was right… the wind didn’t bother us at all! Fantastic tour. I went my with my wife and 3 year old son and the scenery that we saw as incredible. The waves were really high which made my toddler more excited than scared like the rest of us adults!
