Lagos Ponta Da Piedade Caves Boat Tour

So fun!!!! Had the best time and our tour guide was fantastic.

Amazing experience- one of the highlights of our trip to Lagos and the Algarve! I was concerned with the wind, which seemed to kick up on our travel day, however, was pleasantly surprised when we stepped upon our Happy Times boat. The Captain Valentin maneuvered amazingly through the tightest cracks and coves that one can imagine and yet like an expert car driver! We were entertained throughout and provided interesting information on the several rock, formations caves, and grottos that we experienced with a running dialogue both in English in Portuguese by Bruno out friendly guide - we highly recommend!

Recently, I joined two more tours with Seafaris, the Ponta da Piedade tour and the Dolphin Tour, and both experiences were absolutely wonderful.✨ On the Ponta da Piedade tour, Ana was our guide and Barradas our skipper. They were both incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the area, which made the whole experience even more special. Even though I had done this tour before, I got to discover completely new spots this time, including a few stunning little caves that we could carefully enter just enough to admire from inside. Truly mesmerizing! A few days later, I joined the Dolphin Tour together with my parents. Before booking, we were a little hesitant about dolphin watching in general and whether it would truly be respectful towards the animals. However, after reading such positive things about Seafaris, we decided to give it a try, and we’re so glad we did. Nuno and Tiago made the experience unforgettable. The ride itself was exciting and fun, and once we found two different dolphin species, we were able to quietly observe them for quite a long time without the boat chasing or disturbing them. It was very clear that they genuinely respect the animals and the ocean, which made the experience feel even more special.🐬 Overall, all the tours I’ve done here so far have been with Seafaris, and I’ll happily continue booking with them. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a fun, personal, and authentic experience with people who truly know and love what they do.😊

We were able to take a tour today of the caves and the team did an excellent job to keep us safe and show us the amazing caves and sites. Both Tomas and Marcos were super informative and hilarious, they made the experience excellent. Marcos and Tomas are very educated on the history of Lagos and the Algarve so we learned so much while taking in the sights! Will recommend to all our friends and family, the best thing we’ve done in Portugal so far! Thank you to Marcos and Tomas for the safe, fun and breathtaking journey.

We could not have not found a better guide and boat operator than Marcos and Henrique! The boat was manipulated around the rocks with great expertise and the guides discussion and interaction with us was everything we could have asked for. The sites were beautiful and we thoroughly enjoyed every moment.

Our tour guides Thomas and Henry were fantastic! We were able to see the beautiful coast line as well as peeking in to some unreal caves, meanwhile learning off our knowledgable guides! We will definitely be back and checking out a different tour next time. Thank you Thomas and Henry!

The views of ponte de Piedade were amazing and the guides were great as well. We had even managed to spot a family of dolphins which they told us was rare and they shut off the motor so we could try see them closer which was incredible and we were very grateful to have the opportunity as a typical dolphin watching trip costs 40 euros and we only paid 22 euros per person. Plus we got a 15% discount when we talked to Julie about which trip gives the best views and opportunities, especially considering weather changes as it’s much harder to do the other trips when the waves are a bit stronger.

We had taken this tour a few weeks ago with a friend. We had such a good time then that we took our granddaughter on a second tour with us yesterday. Marco is so personable and you can tell he loves his job. Conselo did an excellent job driving the boat with expert skills maneuvering around the rocks. We felt very safe and would recommend this company.

Excellent way to spend an hour with a four year old. Well organised, friendly and the two guys in the boat were knowledgeable and skilled boatsmen. Interesting facts given and they take you right into the grottos. We went on a sunny day and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was also a fairly small boat with only about 8 people which was great. Highly recommend. Approx 50 euros for two adults and a child.

We loved our boat trips, Seafaris has been very helpful as well as careful. We felt safe, the skippers provided lots of interesting info and the grottos, the cliffs were just totally beautiful with their surreleal shapes in the sun and the blue water. We even saw some dolphins close to the caves which is unusual, but we were lucky. Great and beautiful experience!

What a fantastic few hours, 9 of us went out with skipper Sam and tour guide Joe. Sam and Joe are excellent guides & super entertaining. The views are spectacular, we learnt many interesting facts along the way …….from discovering Brazil , the earthquake of 1755 to the Elephant rock !! Thoroughly recommend this boat trip around the stunning caves of Ponta da Piedade

We did all the 3 trips at Seafaris and they were all amazing. We loved Ponta da Piedade very much because we did not expect it to be so beautiful after all the publicity the others got. It is truly gorgeous. Our guides were very kind and informative just like on every trip with this company. 100% recommended!!!

We bought tickets last minute, the check in was easy. Our boat captain and the your guide were amazing. The boat captain skills for driving the boat and getting into the caves were awesome. Our tour guide was a young man from England who was amazing. He gave us some much background and information. Even places to visit, beaches and restaurants. He made our trip really wonderful. I wish I remembered both of their names!

We took the cave tour and the Pinta da Piedad at sunset; it was a wonderful experience. The guides, Joao and Nunu, are geniuses; they went into each cave to show us its charm and history. They speak Spanish and English very well, and they also give you time to enjoy the sunset and take many photographs. 100% recommended.

Must see one of the most beautiful places in the Algarve. We were lucky to be alone in the boat and have an exclusive service, which made us enjoy more if possible. And all this with the good knowledge, professionalism and sympathy of Gonçalo.

The tour to Ponta da Piedade was great! With a small group we were able to drive partly into the caves. The two skippers were very friendly and humorous and explained a lot during the trip. The tour is highly recommended. 5 stars!

It was a very nice boat trip in and around the caves. the helmsman is very skilled and managed to maneuver us into every cave, it was beautiful. The guide told an interesting story about each place. Staff was very friendly and competent.
