Combo Adventure: Benagil Caves Tour & Dolphins From Lagos

Great day out, dolphin experience was brilliant and exploring the caves. Driver of the boat was mindful and experienced.

Fantastic experience, made even better by the super team onboard. What was to be a 2.5hr trip became 3hrs as the dolphin search took longer and wow, it was worth the wait. High speed boat ride, fun, dolphins playing and cave exploring. All with super guide. Highly recommend to all.

What a miserabele company is Days of Adventure. On 29/7, the boatdriver made a mistake, passengers were launched and smashed back. Two days later a CTscan showed a broken vertebra and other damage. Although the boatdriver apologized for the incident, the company refuses to take responsability and pay my medical expenses. I should have reported my broken vertebra BEFORE the end of trip!!!!!

This tour spends a lot of time out on the ocean, which if you’re like me, you’ll love. Beautiful views of the coast w/ the added dolphin spotting bonus. As far as the caves go, it’s a quick tip of the boat entry and that’s it. If you want to see more of the caves, do the kayak tour or one on a smaller boat that goes into the caves.

We travelled with 11 people, we saw dolphins and weather was lovely. Having a washroom on board was great for the little ones in our group. Everything was clean. Ride out to the caves can be very bumpy if the waves are tough.

It was a great time! I had read reviews that someone hadn’t seen dolphins (can happen) and was a little nervous as my daughter was really looking forward to it but we lucked out and saw a family of 3 right up close. Was incredible! The caves were very cool to witness as well! FYI the front of the boat can really bounce when hitting some waves - was enjoyed by myself and my thrill seeking daughter. My young son didn’t, he was a little scared but rode back in the seating area and enjoyed the ride. Our guide was knowledgeable and funny. Would recommend!!

Great tour, we saw many dolphins, Benagil cave and beautiful Algarve coastline. Crew provided interesting commentary and offered to take pictures. The seats on the boat were comfortable.

Fabulous 2.5 hrs We booked in the hope of seeing the Caved and Dolphins . Instead we saw a rare sighting oh Orca whales which was amazing

Fantastic experience from start to finish! The staff were lovely and shared lots of interesting information about the dolphins and the surrounding area, which made the trip even more enjoyable. We were lucky enough to see loads of dolphins, and it was great to see the boat operators keeping a respectful distance and giving them plenty of space so they weren’t disturbed. 🐬💙 The Benagil Caves were beautiful too, and the whole experience was definitely well worth it. Highly recommended! 🌊

It was an amazing tour. Be aware to have a light jacket or a houdie, it get's reeeeaaaally chilly and windy when the boat is gettin in and out of the harbor. There is no getting in the water or on the sand, so you don't need flipflops

Our family really enjoyed this boat trip during our recent trip to Lagos. We saw dolphins swim alongside the boat and enjoyed the cave visits, and also sightseeing along the coastline on our journey back. We would thoroughly recommend this tour when visiting this area of the Algarve.

Nadia and the whole crew were amazing in sharing information to us about the marine life and the beautiful caves! We like the speed of the boat and the expert maneuvering of our captain as well! To top it all, there were dolphins!!!

Great experience, seeing Dolphins and caves on the coast including Benagil. Knowledgeable guides covering both components. The family enjoyed the experience and was the highlight of our holiday.

This is the only one tour that provides big enough boat trip to watch dolphins for family. There are tour by speed boat and catamaran. With speed boat, not all children are happy to be on board as it is low to the water. With catamaran, you will tour with other 70 plus people in one go. This was max 45 people. It was enjoyable with space. Comfortable even when it's speed up. We watched dolphin much closer than we imagined. Cave was ok. It is not so dynamic, though. Date of experience: July 2026

Really good value for money we only saw dolphins in the distance but that’s no one’s fault. The crew tried to follow and find the dolphins but they kept their distance today. The visit to the caves was excellent.

Had a great time on this tour! Saw lots of dolphins and caves. Tour guide gave lots of info in English and Portuguese. Whole experience was 2.5 hours. Mix of families, adult groups, and solo travelers. Would recommend!

Such a great and memorable experience. Very friendly and easy check-in by the marina. You're in a very fast big and comfortable speedboat for a while bouncing out across the sea. They found a large group of dolphins and spent what felt like 20 mins with them jumping around in and around the boat.. then back to the coast to go in the Bengali cave and a few others on the way back to Lagos. 100% recommend 😊

We were very Lucky and saw many Dolphins and even Tuna. We had booked the early Tour. The entire Crew was very friendly and Professional.

Our guide on the boat was incredibly friendly, funny, and made the whole trip even more enjoyable with her positive energy. The highlight was seeing so many dolphins—we were amazed by how many there were! We were also lucky enough to spot a huge tuna, which made the experience even more special. If you’re thinking about booking this trip, don’t hesitate. We would definitely do it again!

Friendly & informative crew who had a genuine interest in what they were doing - they weren't working at a chore, they were enjoying what they did and it showed in the tempo of the excursion. We located a pod of five dolphins, that obliged us with their grace and agility, almost impossible to get a half decent photo because of the boat movement but we have the images firmly etched into our memories. The caves we visited were/are great examples of unspoiled nature, millions of years in the making, great photo opportunities.

Fantastic experience - saw lots of dolphins and the caves were interesting! Great way to explore without having to swim. Bring water/drinks, there's no kiosk onboard!

Fabulous experience! Day trip from Sesimbra after finding this tour. Well worth the time and price and no regrets. No better way to see the coastline and you cover a very large area! Highly recommend as they are a professional group, well organized and safely ran! Skipper was extremely talented navigating such a large vessel into and out of the different caves. We did the 1530 and had maybe 16-18 other people aboard, but like I said, large vessel, powerful and fast! Thank you for a great experience!

Thoroughly enjoyable few hours. Very friendly crew. Lovely views of the caves and the dolphins. Two and a half hours was the perfect length for our trip.

Excellent adventure from start to finish. The office staff (Eroque, Seraphin-2 and Teresa) explained the different tours so well that I was excited enough to book two full days with them, including the Benagil Caves/Dolphin excursion and the kayaking experience (Simeo-best guide.) The crew on the boat was fantastic (Andre, Rocha and Paulo) — energetic, engaging, and clearly committed to making sure every guest had a memorable time. What stood out most was their determination during difficult weather conditions while searching for dolphins. Even when sightings became challenging, the crew continued giving their absolute best effort to locate these fast and playful animals for everyone onboard. It makes a tremendous difference when a company like Days Of Adventure genuinely cares about guests leaving excitedly talking about their experience afterward. A fun filled experience overall. Watched 50 dolphins following the waves created by our boat. The Benagil cave and other caves like eyes of God we're like from dome other world.

Top rate crew and adventure. Booking online was easy but meeting the ticket office reps was even better because they explained each option and cared that I booked exactly what I was seeking. On the boat, the crew was dynamic. They ensured that each guest had a great time. Noticeably was when there was a challenging time locating dolphins in the weather conditions. The crew continued to give it their absolute best effort to find some of these fast and playful animals. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip. It was well organized and the coastal sights were beautiful. He staff were very helpful and the three of us felt we got good value for our money. .

Highly recommend this tour 👌 Friendly staff who takes good care of their customers. Modern and clean boat. If I have to give a point of criticism, do a better safety briefing. Have a crew member take out a life jacket and demonstrate how to put it on rather than just saying where they are located.

Three experiences in one with a fun boat ride, amazing dolphins and fascinating caves. The crew were friendly and professional. We were blessed with clear blues skies and a sea as calm as a swimming pool and found a large pod of dolphins who put on a good show!

We participated in the boat trip with 6 friends. We could only sit at the bow of the boat because the regular benches were already full. During the tour, there were so many "slaps" of waves that we were all frequently lifted from our spot. This resulted in several bruises, scratches, and 1 person even had 2 broken vertebrae. This risk was not clearly indicated beforehand, because then we would not have accepted these seats.

Despite the fact that the weather was not so good the day we went on this trip, we enjoyed it!! It all goes very smoothly, when you have signed up, you are then called to go with the guide of the boat.Once on the you get a good explanation, there again.asked if you have no health problems, back, pregnant.The drill goes quite hard.We enjoyed it.And if you got seasick, you had to raise your hand, then they did have a trick.Super nice staff. The dolphins couldn't guarantee them, but wow, they were there, in large numbers. The visit to the cave was also top! So absolutely recommended!

This trip chosen because this was with a decent boat (not such a small boat). Boat went fast and apparently we were lucky, because within 15 minutes we had spotted the dolphins. Beautiful to see! Plenty of time taken. Then on to the Benagil cave where we also stopped for a long time to take pictures. Afterwards, some caves, including the Devil's eyes. The only small minus was that the explanation was not fully understandable. Top experience.

It was a very beautiful experience! We were lucky enough to see several dolphins in their natural habitat. The boat trip was very nice and the guide spoke English. The caves were beautiful too, but there were quite a few tourist boats, so we preferred the part with the dolphins. In 2.5 hours it makes for a very nice outing and it was really worth it! We enjoyed the combination dolphin watching tour and the Benagil Cave! The boat is comfortable. We have seen the dolphins swimming together beautifully. The boat sailed slowly to get a good look at them. Then we went to the cave, about 30 minutes by boat. What a view! Friendly staff and a nice 2 30 hour boat ride in beautiful places!!
