Best Of The West

This was a lovely half day in Brodies mini bus. We visited historic sites, picnic on beach with a swim, stop at cape st Vincent and a wonderful sunset ! Brodie was very informative on the area. We had a great time.

Brodie was the best, showed us some amazing view points, very entertaining and made sure we made our sunset! in Brodie we trust 🌅

Brody is legendary. We couldn't have asked for a better day. Turned a bad forecast into a magical day.

Bodyboarding at sunset on the most stunning beach I have seen in Portugal? Yes please! 😍 We took a trip to the west coast with the absolute legend that is Brodie and he did not disappoint. Firstly, we looked about a ruin which was very interesting if not a bit dangerous…but you only live once! Then we got to look at the most westerly point of Europe which entailed a beautiful (slightly terrifying) cliff side view. Then we went to a stunning sandy beach where we got to bodyboard in some massive waves which was incredibly fun while some more sane/boring adults sat on the sand and admired the views. We rounded the trip off by watching the sunset from a viewpoint which was just the cherry on top to a very memorable night. Overall Brodie provided us with multiple memorable experiences mixing fun with natural beauty, some danger and great tunes in the van to create some once in a lifetime opportunities ❤️

What better way to spend a Saturday afternoon than getting wasted in some of the most beautiful secret spots that the Algarve has to offer? And to do it in excellent company with a beer in one hand and sangria in the other makes it even more epic! I can't recommend this experience enough. Your liver may hate you for it, but this tour is flipping excellent! Thank you guys for some very memorable excursions!

Brody was the best guide( and shared some of the best stories) and made the the experience so memorable! Met great people, no shortage of laughs, and would definitely recommend to anyone looking to experience Lagos like a local!

This tour takes you to some amazing spots in Algarve. Castles, awesome beaches, and an incredible sunset spot. Not to mention all the booze, the sangria was my favorite and same as my girlfriend. We had a great lunch on the beach and finished it off with a lovely sunset. Thanks for a great end to our trip Brodie!

What a fun day from start to finish! Great music, photo ops, sangria & beer in a surfer's van with Brodie & his fellow Aussie friend, Tom! If you are an uptight type of person, don't go... you might wreck the fun for the others. It was a wild & crazy day with these dudes! Loved all of it, especially Brodie’s playlist on the way back!

Great fun, he makes you feel at ease quickly, takes you to some incredible spots on the west coast and is just an overall laid back, chill experience!

This tour is must do when we visiting Lagos, went with my girlfriend and it was the best day out of the whole holiday , you get pissed with unlimited cans of cold beer in the van while he drives you to the best spots on the west coast with any music you want and a nice lunch included , it doesn’t get much better , Brodie himself is hilarious and great character , the tour then finishes with a brilliant view of a sunset.

The sunset at the end of the world (miradouro de cordoama) was our favourite part of the "wasted on the west coast tour". Very kind and cool travel guide who knows a lot about the history of Lagos. Nice music playlist and homemade sangria :) Michelle and Olivia (Swiss girls)

Wow!!! Wasted on the west coast is a must do trip when you come to lagos!! Tour guide Brodie made the trip so much fun with his humour, knowledge and hospitality of all you can drink booze and food! He even catered to us vegans! The views were breathtaking, the beaches were beautiful and the final stop for the sunset was a highlight of the trip! A bonus being you get to meet awesome people on the tour with you! 10/10 would highly recommend. Thanks for a great day Brodie!

Brody is excellent. He makes you feel welcome and totally at ease from the get go! We had such a good time with Brody and a Belgium couple, we saw some gorgeous sites, nice beaches and great food! This whole trip is the embodiment of a good time and Brodi is the cherry on top every time. Highly recommended anything that includes Brodi, Jess or Vagabundo travel! O and the SANGRIA!!!

This is the second time that I’ve done the ‘wasted on the west coast’ tour with Vagabundo Travel and it’s definitely not going to be the last. Brodie and Jason are exactly the tour guides that you need to see everything worthwhile on the west coast while ensuring that your mouth is never parched. I can not recommend this tour highly enough as it’s definitely something you should do if in Lagos. Brodie was super accommodating of our group and made sure that everyone was having a great time while exploring the Algarve region. The six of us that did it all said that we had one of the best days ever.

Vagabundo travel guided my wife and I on a "Best of the West,' tour. The guide drove us to the most desirable locations and vistas west of Lagos, all the while making sure we had a drink at all times and even fed us lunch from a vista above the ocean that is one of the most beautiful in the world. The guide knows where the best spots to take it all in and his friendliness and storytelling are top notch. From old small town castles to glorious sunsets. The tour only takes about 4 hours, and includes lunch and all you can drink. It was a no brainer to let Vagabondo travel spoil us and guide us through the day..This is a must do for travelers in and around Lagos.

one needs to be be in the right mindset to fully appreciate the great company, nice booze and food (try out the potato salad for God's sake !) , wonders of the coast of Portugal, to the end of the world, stories and fun time, spending life as life should be in the first place. Where to begin... If you want to get out of Lagos for the afternoon and visit some of the most beautiful beaches in Portugal + you want to do this with some great company, do this tour! Far better value for money than you will find from other corporate tour companies around Lagos. Only a short cruise along the motorway in the supreme comfort of the Vagabundo vans, Brodie’s local knowledge will guide you to some absolutely unforgettable Portuguese scenes. With a few beers, a beach bbq, new faces, and some expert insights provided by the big man himself; you’ll have a really really terrible day out. Enjoy!

This is clearly the best tour you'll ever have! It's a must do once you arrive in Lagos or around the town. You are going to meet Brodie and Jess who are incredible and so nice but also the other people doing the tour with you. And the best of all of it are the gorgeous and stunning landscapes of Algarve and it's West Coast. Don't hesitate and do it!

My friends and I went for a holiday in Lagos and got recommended to do one of Brodie's Tours. We decided to go for the wasted on the west coast because we also wanted to explore that area. The Tour starts in a van for a few minutes but don't worry, there is plenty of beer and fun facts to keep you entertained until the first stop. Brodie's knowledge mixed with is humour it's how you want to learn about the Portuguese coast. Will be back for the chill at benegil!

I was recently having to organize a stag in Lagos for my best mate, Brodie and the boys made the whole thing so easy and very entertaining. The lads had an amazing time, lots of drinks, fun and sun. Brodie is a legend.

Vagabundo Travel was everything i wanted it to be. Brodie and Jess really personalized the tour to suit my needs. These two locals gave me a lot of good advice about the area which significantly improved the rest of my trip. Plus they cut the lettuce for lunch perfectly. Will definitely book again!!!

Brodie is a beauty. We met him and Jess in a bar the night before and he offered to take us for his first December trip on the West Coast. We were a little sceptical at first, but after a strong recommendation from our hostel manager and the bartender we decided to do it. It was by far the best day of our entire Europe Trip. Brodie took us to some historical touristy spots and some hidden gems, all while keeping a chill vibe. If you want to get out of the city and check out everything there is to see on the west coast, this is a trip you need to do. The unlimited beer and sangria definitely helped too. We’ll be back for sure!

Brodie was awesome! Best day in Portugal. It’s a chill hang out day while seeing a bunch of cool sites. The barbecue and beers/sangria was great! We met Brodie in a bar and he said he’d take us on a tour in his van. Every local person there told us some of their best days have been with Brodie wasted on the west coast so we had to check it out. Super cool guy and tons of fun. Would recommend to everyone going to Lagos. We were also the first tour in December! Anytime of the year is great.

Unreal day full of beer, food and friends. Brodie is amazing and more of a friend than a tour guide. A little history and culture sprinkled into an awesome day!

Myself and my 2 kids aged 12 and 16 had a great trip to the west coast with Brodie and Jess.. nice and relaxed and friendly.. A good way to see a bit of the scenery on the west coast .. a tasty picnic overlooking the beach.. finished up with some vino verde at the lighthouse.. perfecto. Brodie and Jess really are a lovely genuine fun filled couple and was a pleasure to spend some time with them.

While traveling in Portugal with two of my friends, we stumbled upon the trips hosted by Brodie's Vagabundo and we hit the jackpot! Brodie (the host) clearly knows how to entertain his guests. Great way to meet other legends having a fun booze filled day along the coast with some of Brodie’s famous poetry and history included along the way. If your after champagne and caviar this isn’t for you but if your after a great day out on the coast with a laidback fun crew you won’t be disappointed! If you’re in Lagos and fancy a great fun ride out to Sagres and the west coast, stopping at hidden-gem spots along the way and seeing some breathtaking beaches, cliffs and coves this could be for you. Don’t expect you’re normal stuffy coach trip, here the vibe is much freer. Sit back crack a beer or sangria and with brilliant tunes and get chatting to folks while the legend of a guide Brodie leads the way and gives some great local history and info. You’ll be able to get your fill of booze and then some while a great spread of food is provided. If you are open minded, not too prissy and fancy a true road trip experience to see breath taking spots and chill along the way then this is most definitely for you. Perfect for both couples and solo riders.

Brodie took 6 of us Aussies to the west coast on what was a spur of the moment, unbelievable day! He took us to places in Lagos there is no way you’d find on your own.. amazing look outs, sensational beaches and the best sunset spot you could ever imagine. Plenty of beers and sangria, a great little beach bbq and even better poetry. Highly recommend going, especially if you’re in a group from a hostel. Get geared up for an awesome arvo, wetting the whistle before a night out in Lagos. Getting wasted on the west coast better than some Sunday morning vegemite toast!

We loved this tour! You get to see so much of the algarve's beauty! The beach we went to was the most amazing beach I've ever been to and the sunset was amazing! I think the best part was we wouldn't have thought to go to any of these places if we hadn't done this tour. We had a blast with Brodie and loved the chill vibes on this tour. Traveling in the van was lots of fun too! We will be recommending this tour to all of our friends and family!
