Albufeira 3 Hour Off-road Tour Buggy Adventure Tour

The tour was excellent and our guides were very friendly and very knowledgeable. We had a lot of fun doing this experience. The guy checking us in was a bit grumpy and huffy but all in all the it was an awesome way to spend a Monday morning.

Very poor communication before the trip. First they requested that I change the day of the tour which I was unable to do. Then they rang and cancelled the tour only to ring me back a few hours later to say the trip was back on the day requested but arrive 1 hour earlier. On the day of tour arrived at 9am and eventually left at 10.15am. Managed to drive for around 40 mins before the buggy broke down and tour was cancelled and we then had to wait 90mins to be picked up. Offered only 50% refund at first which I refused and did get my full refund. If you want to enjoy your buggy experience use another provider.

This was an absolutely unbelievable experience, the instructors were super nice and friendly and kept the safety high for everybody.

This is a super trip. So well worth doing. The leaders are great fun and so safety conscious. Well worth the money. This was our second year doing the trip and can’t wait to come back next year.

A great trip with beautiful views of the Algarve and its landscapes. However, I would have appreciated more off-road driving, and some of the stops could have been more interesting

Absolutely loved every bit of it, the stop offs to the farm and castle and cafe were an amazing experience. The farm was ace, very quaint, loved having a go and driving. Would definitely recommend.

One adult driver had physical license, other adult driver had photograph of license. The guy at the desk asked if we had a photo of second drivers license, and when we found it you could tell the lady was not happy about him asking if we had a picture and he changed his tone and all of a sudden a picture was not good enough. Was offered to come back 5 hours later for half the tour we booked. Not friendly.

We had the best time, theres a range of terrains and 3 stops, the stops are only cafes/toilets Our guide was great too, easy to follow

Great fun must have done well over 50km on a combination of tight mountain tracks, roads and paths seeing several towns and points of interest along the way. Stunning views and a great way to see places you wouldn’t usually see!

Amazing adventure and got the adrenaline pumping.! Would definitely recommend. Staff all helpful. Good value for money.

Avoid if you don't want to lose your €150 deposit, drive faster than you are comfortable with and drive so close to the person in front that you haven't got a safe stopping distance. The whole place is filthy the buggies and quads have bald tyres and are covered in thick dust. Our buggy got a flat tyre so we lost our €150 deposit even though my Husband drove the same path as everybody else which was really, really rough dusty terrain. Look for an alternative company!

The trip was amazing routes and staff were really good, nice views and locations would reccommend 100% in your tirp here

We had an amazing experience on this off-road tour! The route was absolutely fantastic — full of exciting terrain and beautiful scenery. Our guide was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and made the trip even more enjoyable. The entire staff was welcoming and helpful from start to finish. Highly recommended for anyone looking for adventure.

It’s good fun, but the facilities where you collect the buggies is in desperate need of work. One filthy toilet, and one half empty vending machine. Take something to keep the dust out of your face, you seriously need it! They will sell you a bandana for €5, but this barely does anything. Be aware that the amount of dust cannot be overstated!

We booked two buggies for three people. My stepdad wasn’t driving so he didn’t need to fill in the check-in form and show his driving licence. I would still recommend bringing it just in case like it says. Everyone in our group turned up early so we left early and we spent more than 3 hours on the tour! Three stops… much needed after the tricky off-roading. The trail between the first and second stop is the most challenging. You get dusty so bring old clothes. Bandanas are €5 and helmets are provided. The guides were very helpful. One at the front, one at the back. (The front of the convoy is quad bikes, the back of the convoy is buggies). Stopping traffic and getting us back on track when mum took the wrong turn. Adriano took an amazing photo of us. “Professional photo, free of charge” he said! I’ll be doing it again when I’m back!

This was a pretty good trip for the money spent. We were four and took 2 buggies splitting the drive up. I will say that (while it didn’t happen to us), there is a weight limit for the buggies which meant to that two Americans that arrived on the tour after us had to take separate buggies and pay extra despite paying in advance. This is a partially off road experience, but you will need a driving license. This is not a rally experience and they did warn my friend about trying to Tokyo drift some of the corners. At the end of the day, it’s their vehicles and due to the fact that it’s not entirely off road they might experience backlash due to the standard of your driving. So bare that in mind if you’re going with the intention of driving extremely quick. If you are going, they sell Bandanas for €5 which was very reasonable

Total scam, very boring tour. Stopped at a castle ruin and a cafe. No great sights like advertised. Vehicle we were given was not fit to be on road. Run by con men. Avoid this company.

Total scam. The off road vehicles are very bad condition, bald tyres, dodgy brakes. They also will scam you by taking a deposit they have no intention of returning to you.

Good ride with nice stops. Good for a liesurely ride and this is not a trip where one can go fast or let it "rip" around a track. I would highly recommend wearing clothes you don't mind getting muddy or dusty as it is almost certain you will get. The staff is also freindly.

Good guide, good story about places, good trak with offroads and good speed, just need try for everybody

We did the 3 hour tour in the morning. It was a lot of fun and buggy was easy to drive. Make sure you arrive a little bit early for the briefing and if you follow their directions everything goes perfect. Shout out to our tour guides Max and Filipe! They were very helpful and attentive the whole trip (and they speak fluent English which is always a bonus). I highly recommend getting the bandana. We expected dust but we didn’t expect it to be this dusty. We are still trying to clean off everything :)

Really good and fun trip with a couple of nice stops. Going through the dirt tracks and roads were great and I would recommend this trip.

I booked a trip of 3.5 hours which I paid for €108. On the trip day they called me and said that cannot to do 3.5 hours but they can do 2 hours and they mention that they will refund me the difference cost. I have contacted the customer services at Viator to find out when the refund will be received as there is nothing in writing stating that and they confirmed me that a refund was issued for the amount of 27€. I find this being a scam as the time for the tour was dropped almost to half so they should refund more. Looking at the reviews, it is not the first time when they do this. The tour let’s say that was a lovely experience and the two people escorting us was knowing their job reason why I faced 3 stars. Sales department and customer services are not good at all.

We couldn’t do the 3,5 hour tour which we initially booked, but we did the 2 hour tour instead. The price difference was paid back instantly. The tour operators and guides are very friendly and helpful. We had a great experience and surely will take the longer tour on another day

Great time with a really nice guy as our guide. The buggy was as advertised and great fun, pretty nippy too!. I was wary of fitting in it as I'm 6'6 but I managed to squeeze in ok. Highly recommended 👌

It was the friendly and professional assistants that made the whole experience memorable- especially Rui who was our tour guide - really had a wonderful time and recommend this buggy tour to anyone who enjoys having fun!

Really enjoyed and definitely worth the 3.5hr tour. You’ll need to get an uber there, about 6 euro from new strip. Was a bit worried when initially turned up looking at the place but the guys are very safe, friendly and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend.

Did this with a stag group and we had a great time on the buggy tour. Thought 3.5 was going to be too long but time flew by! Shame not to be able to raz them around but still went quite fast at point.

What a fantastic day! We booked the 3.5 hr buggy tour and enjoyed every second of it. From start to finish we were in good hands, knowledgeable staff and a great atmosphere Do not hesitate if you are thinking of booking one of the tours with these guys. You get to see so much more of the beautiful region and have some fun at the same time! Big shout out to Rui ......our guide who was excellent ! He was very knowledgeable about the region and really knows his stuff! He took us to some fantastic places with amazing views, a history lesson and even some wild growing foods that you would never know about!! They are all top guys and you are in good hands and very safe, so much better than just sitting on a beach! The absolute best day of our holiday thanks to Rui and the guys........we will see you soon for another fantastic day!

Overall fun experience. Lead guide was fluent in English and very personable. Safety was priority but we still had fun with buggy’s some fast some slow. You will get dirty!

One of the group members was unwell in the morning of the day and we called the company to inform them we may not make it and will need to move the time or date. Absolutely poor customer service from the office lady on the phone and had no consideration that we may not make it she was unsympathetic and would not let us move the date or time. We called her again and this time she started yelling racial slurs at us and threatening us she failed to understand our constraints and this just shows inadequate professionalism from the staff at this company. I am appalled of the service and I will never book with them again terrible !

Think it’s safe to say we were scammed, we missed the booking by 5 mins even after informing the lady on the phone we would be late, when we arrived we called, she basically told us to foff which is quite unprofessional. The customer service was terrible quite racist, I have a number of friends who have booked the experience but will cancel because of this, I think out of everything was the aggression and how quick they were to dismiss us. There was no option or flexibility to accommodate us and felt like the company makes money off this also as they take advantage of people who are late. The more I write this more I actually feel attacked, the lady on the phone threatened me for asking basic questions. I’m quite appalled that a business like this exists

Great experience we all loved it. 7 of us done it part of my stag do. The tour guide speaks excellent English his name is Rui. They take you around and explain about the traditions and landmarks. Great going over the bumps and sand. Get to go a decent speed if the group are confident driver's. Would definitely do it again

Excellent way to spend an afternoon. Rui the guide was excellent 5* Would recommend to anyone. The buggy was a breeze to drive with amazing scenery and some fun off-road tracks!

Amazing trip, Adrian was very informative and funny, a delight to spend the morning with. Buggy was good fun to drive, stopping on the way to see some amazing views. Drove some dirt tracks some steep hills. Very safe with clear instructions from Adrian. Stopped for coffee in lovely village. Would highly recommend. Thank you Adrian.

Excellent trip Adrian our guide was amazing informative and funny made the trip special. Saw some amazing scenery and drove over some amazing dirt tracks (hilly in places) Buggies good fun to drive even got to stop off for a drink inn a small village. Would highly recommend this trip

I did a 3 hrs buggy tour here along with my wife. It was a fantastic experience right from beginning. Mr Francisco explained us the rules and security brief before we start the tour. The tour has a combination of both normal and off road. Our guide has an extensive knowledge of the area. The real off-roading experience starts after reaching the “castle paderne” with some really steep terrain to climb up and down. Mr Francisco took a lot of pics / videos of us on the tour which is a plus 🙂 overall, it was a very laid back / easy going and safe experience ,,, the buggies were comfortable for 3 hrs ,,, I would definitely recommend the tour and I myself would it again in future ,,, P.S : You will be covered in dirt top to bottom it’s expected with any off-roading so dress appropriate, pack light and don’t forget your sunshades as it will help protect your eyes from both sun and dirt ,,, Have fun !! 😎
