3-hour Tour By Buggy Or Quad In The Algarve

Best buggy tour ive been on. Its the best in terms of off road excitement and proper buggy riding within limits. The tour is great with sights and good points to stop off but the driving experience is the real deal. Many tours like these are tame and are strict in terms of driving style. The safety here is paramount and they do give instructions on driving however they let the driving reflect the environment. There are road sections, dirt tracks and rocky terrain and the later is brilliant for off an off road buggy. Dust everywhere, over rough terrain, in river beds, up hills, you name it. At the stops you get a bottle of cold water. You are given goggles which you must wear..but you realise why when you are 10 mins in. The tour guides are friendly and are great. At the end they use an air gun to help take the dust off!! One of the highlights of out break away.

Watch out for hidden costs, charged, wife was charged 60 euros for the buggy breaking down through no fault of her own, staff were rude and arrogant and made us pay before we could leave. Was enjoyable up until then but this ruined it for us

Brilliant adventure , quite challenging at times but our guide (Reuben) was charming, helpful and patient. Great trails, really fun. As expected totally filthy at the end so bear this in mind, taxi driver didn’t look happy when we got in. I’d recommend this to anyone, just have a buggy if not confident on quad. Incredible experience with much more excitement than you could imagine! We went through rivers, up steep inclines, and over many achievable yet exhilarating obstacles. A perfect adventure for friends and family alike. The guides, both Luan & Diego, were FANTASTIC - kept us safe but gave us a thrill ! Would recommend to anyone.

The guide was so kind and made the whole experience a lot of fun for myself and my partner, it was his birthday and he enjoyed himself so much!

So much fun! The scenery is stunning, the tracks are so dusty which adds to the excitement. I went with 2 teenage boys and wanted to book a 4 man buggy but there wasn't one available. We felt very lucky because instead 1 boy went on a quad bike with the guide while the other went in the buggy with me and they swapped half way through. A very different experience on quadbike vs buggy so they were super happy. Tips- 1) wear clothes that you don't mind getting FILTHY. In the summer there are no overalls. 2) Definitely worth wearing a balaclava (you can buy them €5 each onsite), 3) take your phone in a waterproof phone case to protect from the dust, 4) maybe take a towel to sit on in the car afterwards. There is a power air hose to get rid of much of the dust afterwards but certainly not all of it.

An amazing 3hr tour with my family group - 3 adults and 2 children both aged 8. We had 2 buggy’s- a 2 and 4 seater. Such a friendly welcome from the owner (who enjoyed some football banter with my nephew!). After a great briefing session and introduction to our buggy’s, off we went! Wow - just wow!! The mountain scenery is amazing and our guide was incredible! The terrain is so much fun in these vehicles and the children (and adults) loved every second! Can’t recommend this tour enough - just don’t wear white as it’s very dusty (but this added to our fun!) Thank you for such an incredible experience!!

I loved the driving the views been in a different environment seeing the villages countryside and our guard was brilliant kept it interesting all different types of terrain 👍
