I had a great adventure with mr. Mahmoud. He was an amazing tour guide who showed us how knowledgeable and passionate he is about ancient Egypt. Mr David was a great driver and very professional. I will be recommending him to anyone visiting egypt in the future. Thank you for the amazing memories and photos and serve. A wonderful experience. A very fruitful one . I went in February and my group had a very good time. Thank you angie who spoke English and was very good. Also a thorough knowledge of Egyptian culture for all my questions answered. Myself and my group had the best 2 weeks ever in Egypt.5 star service. Highly recommended. Not enough words for thank you for the travel connection tours. Book with this company. None compare.

We came from Michigan with my husband. Our guide was prompt and very knowledgeable. we stayed at the Marriott and we really enjoyed our tour of the pyramids, the Sphinx, and the Egyptian Museum. Safe, secure and 5 star service. I would highly recommend this company! What an enjoyable tour! He took us back to the hotel after the tour. Excellent service! Thank you Best View Pyramids Hotel for the recommendation. Best company in Egypt!
We stayed in Best Pyramid Hotel and went on a Travel Connection Tours. When we booked the driver was on and the tours were great. We got through the city with no problems. The guide spoke clearly and was patient. We didn’t feel rushed and spent the whole day out and were taking back to the hotel. The guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the Egyptian Museum. We saw all of the pyramids at Giza. We felt safe and welcome. Highly recommend for tourists travel.
I stayed in Best View Pyramids Hotel and I searched for a company that does tours and I found the Travel Connection Tours. I saw the reviews and they exceeded my expectation. The tour guide spoke very good English. He was also very knowledgeable regarding the history of the Giza pyramids and Egyptian museum!!! We had a great time and felt very safe and secure!! Me and my wife highly recommend to anyone traveling from America to book with The Travel Connection Tours!!!!!! We were very happy after the tours!! We had a great time!
This was a very good experience.I stayed at the Sheraton Hotel. Very good place!!! I toured with Travel Connection Tours. My tour guide had 20 plus years of experience, which really helped the situation. Of course I have no knowledge of the area being an African American man from California, but my tour guide was more than adequate and helped me through those weird/uncomfortable times. He was very knowledgeable and at all time made me feel safe. Safety was my first and last priority. As long as punctuality. My wife and I have never been here before, I can honestly say that after speaking with my tour guide I immediately felt a sense of relief. He was very adamant that nothing would happen on his watch. He was right!!! I’ve had nothing less than a smooth touring experience. Honestly would not recommend any other tour service. Heck I don’t even know any other tour services. The travel connection company works for me and I’m almost positive it will work for you. No cap!!! Just so you know here’s all that we did: Pyramids @Giza (Must See) Mohamed Ali Castle Egyptian Museum/Mummy Room(yesssss!!!!) Beach Buggy rides Camel/horseback riding Fine Dining Cairo Tower
The Travel connection Tours was the best. I traveled from United States here with my husband. We stayed at the Marriott and we booked our tours with Travel connections tour and we had an amazing time. The tour guides were fluent in English wish was very reassuring. They were on time and very knowledgeable of the area. We went to the Egyptian Museum, Mohamed Ali Castle, Pyramids Giza, beach buggy and road on camels.
I come from Canada and I booked with Travel Connection Tours. I had a really good time with my tour guide. I travelled alone and my tour guide was knowledgeable about the pyramids and spoke very good English. He took me to the pyramids and I had a good time with great pictures. The next day we went to the Egyptian museum and Cairo tower, these were also great sites to see!! Saturday I booked Sakkara, Memphis, and Pyramid of Dashour. On the fourth day I booked ATV sunset pyramid tour and Nile Cruise - their open buffet dinner was delicious! I had a nice show and wonderful time the entire 5 days. I recommend the Travel Connect Tours for everyone in Canada and the world. They were very safe, organized and affordable. 5 star service, the tour was always punctual and kind.
We rode ATVs, explored the pyramids, Sakkara, Memphis, Dashour, saw ruins, the tour guide was great and spoke English - highly recommended
One of the first activities we had was writing quad motorcycles it was a good one hour and 30 minute experience I will never forget we rode around the pyramids we went up the hills and down the hills of the Sandune’s. I went to the Egyptian museum it was very beautiful and it was very well explained. Throughout the entire trip the tour guide spoke very good English and I was able to understand. We went to the Sakkara, Memphis, and the Dahshour tour as well. We had a very great time and affordable price. We also booked another cruise which included belly dancers and karaoke with open buffet. Every transportation was quick. I highly recommend and I’m coming back. The travel connection towards the best company in Egypt.
I come from the United States and Ethiopia, I searched for great tours in Egypt that were authentic, honest and off the beaten path in order to focus on history, culture and markets. I found The Travel Connection Tours through my hotel Best View Pyramid Hotel. This tour provided me the opportunity to take in the Pyramids at Giza, as well as the New Egyptian Museum in Cairo, in a relaxed way and without pressure to travel at a rapid pace. I was accompanied by a driver named Sreaf, as well as a guide named Saber; the tour guide Saber, spoke great English and was overall just an honest good person. I had such an enjoyable time that we booked three more tours together throughout Giza and Cairo. They both became family to me. Day 1: Pyramid Giza and Markets for authentic Egyptian cotton and oil Day 2: The New Egyptian Museum and Old Cairo Day 3: Extensive tour around Cairo and Giza, including local markets and shops The tour guide and the driver were both knowledgeable of the ins and outs of Egypt, punctual - always on time, and aware of everything going on at all times involving safety. The price was great and service was exquisite. Overall, I would highly recommend The Travel Connection Tours to everyone visiting Giza and Cairo. Truly a five star company with incredible staff. I had a great time.

The Pyramids and Museum tour with The Travel Connection Tours was BRILLIANT, i came from New South Wales, Australia The Company took care of everything for me, From Hotel Reservation, Airport Transportation, the vehicle was very clean and comfy, Timing Precision, the Archaeological guide was very friendly person, very knowledgeable, speaks English fluently and honest person, i highly recommend The Travel Connection Tours
We went on the tour to the pyramids from the Mercure hotel also and had a very similar time as the negative statement left here. I do believe that it was purely down to the rep in the hotel that planned it all to set up the deal with the you can have the bloody lot guy Mr Mohammed for his own financial gain.He cane across as a real let me lie to you with a smile on my face sort of guy. We complained to a other rep from travel connection and she was lovely and realy helped us and we continued on different tours over the following days and had a great time and meet lovely guides and drivers. Shame the hotel give permission to have him work in their hotel. On a different note the Mercure hotel could do with a facelift and training in food hygiene not a great hotel for 2 of the days we where there the swimming pool looked like a green pond as the staff didn’t have the know how to keep the chemical levels right and when questioned we where told it was normal and happens once a week? shame has it has all the potential to be fantastic hotel and what a great location for all the sight seeing nothing the management can’t put right with some money spend and staff training (the breakfast chef was blowing her nose into my omelette never did I see her wash her hands nor did I see alcohol gel ready available). The restaurant is not clean every where need a lick of paint and the carpets are terrible in the whole place. Its such a shame as it was the most amazing sightseeing trip ever and the Egyptian people where so friendly and they real want tourist to visit.
Do not trust this company, they tried to totally rip us off. We were staying in Giza at the Mercure hotel and spoke to Travel Connection Tours about a trip to the Giza pyramids. The guy offered to take us on a tour to the pyramids for $20. We asked if there would be any additional costs and he said we would also need to pay an entrance fee to the pyramids and pay if we wanted a camel or horse ride. On the day, he drove us not to the pyramids but to a ‘papyrus museum’ apparently owned by his mates (we hadn’t said we wanted to go there but ok). We went inside and a salesman guy told us we would have a tour of “the whole bloody lot” at the pyramids site after someone upstairs had talked to us about papyrus, and then someone else would talk to us about perfume and talk us through all the trips they offered (this was odd because we’d talked through trips offered by Travel Connection at the hotel already, I’m not sure if this was the same company or a different one at the papyrus place?). We were taken upstairs and a different man told us about how papyrus is made which was quite interesting and he was engaging and likeable. Then he tried to sell us bad papyrus pictures for about $60 each. After this we spoke to the salesman downstairs again and he told us we would have to pay 3500 Egyptian pounds -175GBP or 215USD to go to the pyramids with a tour guide and on camels or horses. We made it clear we did not want to pay this and he eventually reduced the price to 2,000. We asked if it was possible for us to walk around the pyramids instead of paying them and he told us this was impossible as we’d have to walk about 20 to 25 miles (COMPLETE LIE). We felt a bit trapped and reluctantly agreed to pay them but asked twice if there would be any additional costs and he assured us there wouldn’t be. We realised we only had 500EGP with us so they agreed to take that as a deposit and us pay the rest at the hotel. We asked if going inside the pyramids was included and he said...ok I’ll throw in entry to the second pyramid into the deal. We were then taken outside to meet the tour guide Abdullah who took us to our camels. He immediately asked us for an extra 160EGP which we refused to give - we told him we’d been assured we didn’t have to pay any more, he went inside and was given some of the cash we’d paid and we left on our camels. Almost straight away Abdullah told us ‘of course I’m paid only in tips’ which we ignored. He took us down a dirty side road with rubbish all along it and around to a weird side entrance to the pyramid site we we were let in by some men who didn’t ask us for money. We went across the sand and to a ‘panorama spot’ which was a slight bump in the sand and not really a much better view of anything, then we approached the pyramids. My camel was very grumpy and at one point kicked me in the foot, to be fair Abdullah did show some concern about this and tried to reassure me. Abdullah told us a few things about the pyramids but not much, and I’m not sure how reliable what he said was. We looked at the outside of the pyramids and took some photos, and then Abdullah told us we could go inside one pyramid, but what we’d do is he would take my partner inside to view it while I waited outside, then they’d come out and he’d take me inside the pyramid. We asked why and he wouldn’t tell us. We said we would like to do this together. Abdullah didn’t really answer. He told us we needed to go and buy a ticket to enter the pyramid and he would wait inside while we went to the ticket office. He pointed to where this was and told us, go down there to buy tickets but don’t stop, don’t talk to anyone or look at or read anything, just buy the ticket really quickly then come back. He gave us 200 of the money we’d paid to do this with. We walked down to the ticket office and found there was a gate with security guards we had to walk out of to get there, and turnstiles to get back in. We had obviously snuck in a back entrance without paying. At the ticket office we were told there was a fee to enter the site as well as a fee for entering the pyramid. Abdullah hadn’t given us enough money for this. While at the site it was clear that actually it’s not far at all between the pyramids and we could easily have come on foot and walked around, and also the site wa walking distance from our hotel. As there was no way for us to get back into the site without more money, and no way to talk to Abdullah about this, we decided to walk back to our hotel and come back on our own the next day. At the hotel we found the company rep panicking as we’d gone missing. We explained what had happened and he said “I’m sorry this happened although it is not my fault”. We said we would have nothing more to do with them. We didn’t pay them any more money obviously. Next day we walked to the pyramid site and paid 500EGP total for entrance of the site, great pyramid and a smaller pyramid, and the boat museum. It was totally possible to do this without a guide (although crossing the roads in Giza is dangerous, you’ll see what I mean if you go there). Overall total con artists who lied to us, provided a bad camel ride and had a really stupid plan to take our money which was never going to work, I really don’t know how Abdullah thought he would get away with this.
Our one day tour experience was exceptional. We were assigned two professional, well-informed staff (driver and tour guide) with Mohamed, owner of the tour agency, joining us intermittently. Being two women traveling alone, Mohamed ensured we felt safe and guided us with shopping purchases. Given short notice of our need for a one-day tour experience, I was well pleased and highly recommend Travel Connection.
The car was air conditioned and very, very comfortable. The driver was very professional, the tour guide spoke good English - and other languages. He was very knowledgeable and was punctual; not only did he arrive on time to pick me up from the hotel, he was on time to pick me up from each of the venues I visited. As a solo female traveller, i felt very safe and in really good hands. The tours were really good value for money. I went to Saqqara and Memphis, we saw the carpet school - it was amazing! We went to The Museum of Egypt, Papyrus Museum, Khan el Khalil Market, Flower Cotton Museum amongst others. I stayed four days. If I come back, I will definitely use TheTravel Collection Company again.
We came from laguna Beach and had nothing booked when we arrived there. They handled all our requests and questions. We booked immediately with them and they arranged all our trips to pyramids, Cairo, desert, crystal mountains, Abu simbel, Luxor and Aswan. The tour guides and drivers were excellent and spoke English and they knew the history and the places. They even handled the hotels in Luxor and Aswan. I can fully recommend it. Egypt is safe and secured!
The local guides provided were excellent and spoke excellent English and really knew the places and history which make those amazing tombs and temples comes to life. They also took us great local places to eat and relax. Also helped greatly in negotiating the Egyptian train system- ensuring we got on exactly the right train. I recommend the overnight sleeping trains you get wonderful views of the Nile in the evening and morning. The Gaddis hotel in Lixor has seen better days but was OK. However the Nuba Nile Hotel in Aswan was very comfortable, though we were only there for about 2.5hours.
I booked with The Travel Connection Tours, the guide, always attentive, came to pick us up on time and bring to the hotel, always felt safe with my little daughter. Very helpful and with lots of information As a travel agent I recommend this Enterprise for this and so many other excursions. Very professional, helped with all our questions. 💖🇵🇹🇵🇹
I came from Spain and did my tour with the travel connection tours❤️❤️🤩, and I loved everything from the driver’s pick up, who has looked for me at the exact moment combined, the air-conditioned car. It was all SUPER AMAZING 🥰🥰🤩🤩❤️ super comment and I will surely come back more times. In total I did 5 tours with the travel connection tours and they all came out perfect!!!! Thank you for everything 🥰🤩🤩❤️❤️ what I loved the most was the camel ride and quadbike ride with the sun 🤩🤩🤩
Excellent staff very good guides I recommend I give it 5 stars and recommend to take a camel ride, that if you have to remember that it is in the desert and it is very hot, seeing the pyramids was one of my dreams and they look amazing in person.
I am from Palermo (Italy). They organized the whole tour, they put a car at our disposal with the guide who spoke perfect Italian. The guide was very thoughtful to explain everything in detail. I recommend to everyone the travel connection tour 100%. Reliable and helpful. Book with this company.
