Xu San Stefano Hotel Alexandria

While the location and rooms at this hotel were very nice there are several reasons I would never stay here again. First being the DJ they have playing music from around 1 PM into the late evening. Not only was the music EXTREMELY loud, the music choices were not what you’d expect lounging by the pool or beach in the middle of the afternoon. It was mostly very loud club music with a very heavy base. While he did turn it down is requested it would shortly get very loud again after that. It made most of the stay unenjoyable if you were sitting outside OR even in your room. Secondly, the pool/beach staff seemed rather unprofessional and perhaps poorly managed. They were often seen smoking on the job by the pool or on the beach. Often I would have to wait to get towels or return them, even though there were at least 4 men working at a time. BUT my biggest turn off was when I would see them entering guests rooms/ balconies when the cleaning staff was inside. There is simply no reason that the beach staff would need to be entering guests rooms while they are being cleaned. From what I could see it was mostly to receive soda or water from the cleaning staff which may or may not be allowed, but as a guest it seemed very unprofessional and even disrespectful. Lastly, while I did appreciate that there was staff keeping the pool area clean what I did not enjoy was the time in which they did it and the way they did it. Often they were sweeping water and debris underneath, around, and even right next to where I and other guests were sitting. They would hose down and flood areas where guests were standing with no consideration for the guests. Unfortunately, though the room was lovely and beach and pool were nice and all close together I would never choose XU San Stefano again. Sunrise up the street is a MUCH BETTER CHOICE!

it was very bad experience I have ever visited, this place not even worth a hundred pound, service is really bad, the staff are not even trained neither communicated. after I have booked through Waffarha , the staff ask me to paid for the towel 150 pound for each towel because I didn’t book through them. Beach service is too slow and not even knowing the menu. chairs and tables are really Dirty.

I stayed there from 4/20/2020 to 4/23/2026. The hotel is new, opened for public last Dec 2025. Great location in front of the see and has small pools. The rooms are awesome and looking directly to pools and the beach. All air conditioned, I will give 5 stars for cleanliness of the rooms and the features in it.It has good breakfast buffet. No shops in the hotel. The lobby is small bcs the hotel is small just 31 rooms. The staff are very friendly and helpful and speak English. But I will give 4 stars only for the small breakfast restaurant. Mr.Ramadan at the restaurant is the best I met, he did his best to help me and serve me the food, he is working hard. Me. Wesam the night manager also very friendly and good listener to my comments and pass them to higher authorities. I recommend this hotel for relaxation and have great time in Alexandria.

This hotel is one of the newer additions in Alexandria and serves as an ideal destination for those seeking peace and privacy in the heart of one of the city’s most vibrant and busy areas. In addition, the accommodation cost is very reasonable considering the level of service provided. I was particularly impressed by the friendly and professional attitude of all the staff. The room itself was excellent when compared to the price paid. Without a doubt, this place will become one of my go-to destinations whenever I visit Alexandria.
