Tolip Alexandria

I liked the stay, comfortable bed & pillow, wide clean rooms, backed up with everything, very nice view to the Sea, I prefer the rooms overlooking the pool & the sea. The pool is very nice but operating hours starts late in the morning & closed by 6 or 7 pm in the weekends. The breakfast is delicious with lots of food varieties, the reception restaurants are good and seatings are a lot down there, beach access to a near by hotel, no private beach to the hotel. The prices for stay are value for money, and a little bit higher in the summer season. Housekeeping is available once per day, suitable for families or business travels as there is a desk to work. Very close to everything & Stanly bridge walking distance.

I had a very disappointing experience at Tolip Hotel Alexandria and would not recommend it to anyone. I booked two suites (628 & 634) from 30 June 2026 to 6 July 2026, expecting the level of service and cleanliness that a five-star hotel should provide, but the reality was completely different. The suites were extremely dirty upon arrival, and the housekeeping service was far below acceptable standards. It was clear that cleanliness was not a priority. The pool staff were also very unprofessional. They refused to allow children to swim without a swimming cap, even though this requirement was not clearly communicated in advance. Rather than handling the situation politely or offering a reasonable solution, the staff were unhelpful and lacked basic customer service skills. The breakfast was another major disappointment. The food quality was poor, the selection was limited, and it certainly did not meet the standards expected from a five-star hotel. Overall, most of the staff appeared poorly trained and not educated on how to deal with guests in a professional and respectful manner. From the front-line employees to housekeeping, the level of hospitality was consistently disappointing. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst hotel experiences I have had. Considering the price I paid for two suites, I expected much better. I would not recommend this hotel and will not be returning.

Lovely stay for our 3 generation family. Excellent service. Nice rooms. Old school Egyptian atmosphere with modern amenities. Good variety of restaurants with other options within walking distance. Tolip provides a free shuttle to the private beach that is too far to walk to. It runs every half hour until 6 pm. Service at the private beach was great with lots of seating, sun, shade, play area for kids, clean bathrooms, good food, and lifeguards.

I had a wonderful stay at Tolip Hotel in Alexandria. Everything exceeded my expectations. The room was extremely clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with a beautiful view that made the experience even more enjoyable. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from every morning. The pool was clean and enjoyable, and the beach was absolutely beautiful. I would like to extend my special thanks to Mr. Nagi at the Reception, Mr. Awad from Housekeeping, and the entire reception team, especially Mohamed, for their outstanding hospitality, professionalism, and friendly attitude. They truly made me feel welcome throughout my stay. Thank you to the whole team for making my visit memorable.
