All the staff was very accommodating and kind. Pool is spotless. We did the buffet breakfast.It had so many items. There was something for everyone no matter the country. I am from the USA and had just had implants. They did everything to supply soft things for me and my husband. The only recomindation might be post signs "take what u can eat. You sre free to return as needed. Childern under 12 accompaned by an adult. Childern being childern fill their plates with more than they could ever eat). Much food wasted. Money lost. People sometimes do not think . A ittle sign to remind.
Service across the board—from housekeeping to luggage handlers—was terrible. Everyone behaves however they please. I met with the general manager and the assistant manager, but it seems impossible to change staff with such chaotic and unprofessional attitudes.
Starting with basic hygiene: the tea mug in the room was washed in the bathroom sink without soap, then put right back on the coffee/tea tray.
The electrical setup is absurd—to plug in the electric kettle, you have to struggle to push aside the heavy vanity mirror and dresser just to reach the socket.
The room phone was broken, so we asked for a replacement. The maintenance technician rang our doorbell after midnight when we were trying to sleep. When we didn't answer right away, he had the front desk call our room twice in the middle of the night just so we would open the door for him.
If I listed every instance of irresponsibility and unprofessional behavior, it would take forever. Even right before leaving, when I tried to charge my phone at the reception, the staff member intentionally unplugged my charger and gave me a smug, triumphant smile—happy that he refused to help a customer.
I have no words for a supposedly 5-star hotel where we paid a high price only to be met with disrespect, rude service, and dirty rooms. Even the breakfast buffet was bad—both coffee machines were out of order for two days straight, making it almost impossible to get a cup of coffee.
I really wished I could write a positive review showing that we got our money's worth, but unfortunately, you cannot expect good service from completely unqualified staff.
I had an outstanding experience at SUNRISE Alex Avenue Hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome with their professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail. The room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The hotel’s location is excellent, making it easy to enjoy Alexandria while still offering a peaceful atmosphere. Every member of the team went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. The service, cleanliness, and overall hospitality exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Alexandria, whether for business or leisure. I will definitely be coming back
We had a wonderful stay at Sunrise Alex Avenue. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The facilities were great, and we really enjoyed the atmosphere throughout our stay.
A special thank you to the amazing animation team! They were energetic, kind, and made every day so much more fun with their activities and positive attitude. They worked hard to keep both adults and children entertained, and their enthusiasm really made our vacation memorable.

Advantages:
The hotel was cool and luxurious🙂. The staff were helpful😌. The rooms were nice, and our room was next to the beach, because this resort had a bridge for connecting to the beach😃.
Disadvantages:
They booked our room on the third floor, and the staff quietly changed our room to the ground floor. It was unexpected😐. The beach is dirty with plastic bags on it 😳😳😳. Because of that, my son and my daughter got stung by a jellyfish😭😭😭.
In Conclusion, the stay was amazing 🤩 and the beach was wonderful, but that doesn’t mean it’s HORRIBLE, their restaurant has amazing food and amazing light with cool sunset and views of the beach. Plus, they also had shops?!😍😍I’d recommend you to stay here, IF you want to☺️.
