Helnan Maamoura Hotel - Alexandria

Sadly, I had wedding experience at this venue was extremely disappointing. From the poor organization and repeated mistakes to the low-quality wedding cake and unprofessional staff, almost every aspect of the event fell short of what was promised. Instead of enjoying such an important day, I had to deal with unnecessary stress and frustration. I cannot recommend this venue based on my experience.

I had an excellent stay at Helnan El Maamoura Hotel. The service was outstanding, and every member of the staff made us feel truly welcome. A very special thanks to Mohamed Nazmy from Housekeeping for his exceptional care, professionalism, and attention to detail. Our room was always spotless, and his kindness made our stay even more enjoyable. I would also like to express my sincere appreciation to Mohamed Mostafa, the Restaurant Manager, for his outstanding hospitality, excellent management, and genuine care for the guests. He ensured that every dining experience was perfect. Thank you to the entire Helnan El Maamoura team for making our stay memorable. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to coming back!

Started terribly but ended up great, all thanks to Jomana ​We went to Helnan Mamoura to celebrate my birthday. We asked for early check-in and late check-out in advance, but we were completely ignored and left waiting for over an hour. There was no birthday compliment at all, and they refused our late check-out request. We were so frustrated that we actually booked another hotel and were ready to leave. ​Then we met Jomana. She asked about our stay, and when we told her what happened, she refused to let us leave unhappy. She sincerely apologized for the reception team's attitude and convinced us to cancel our other booking and stay. ​She totally turned things around! The second night was amazing—our room was decorated, they brought a birthday cake, and she even gave us a special rate on our second night. ​Huge thanks to Jomana for her exceptional problem-solving and making us feel valued. She really saved our trip!

My stay during eid al adha was nothing short of beautiful, amazing breakfast variety, clean rooms and top notch room services. Pool was very clean and so was the beach, rooms are comfortable and well spaced and bathroom was visibly spotless and lush. We tried their dinner open buffet which included a lovely live performance from a talented duo band. My only remark is that we paid around 900 per person for that open buffet but when i asked if there’s water (there were no beverages displayed on the tables) they said sure there’s water but made us pay extra for water which was super stingy in my opinion, how can a 900 egp buffet not have water included ? Also i don’t recommend leaving the hotel and exploring around alone during summer, since it’s located in a very local holiday spot for locals. Everything else was lovely, but i do think most staff need more training in terms of customer care and quality service.
