Best guided tour of the trip. Great experience. Was pretty strenuous for us but doable. The guide Michael was fantastic.

Mark was great. He was prompt , kind and so knowledgeable. He consistently checked on everyone and tended to our needs. . I will also add that Mark make dinner recommendations. He was riding the gondola as I made them for later that evening. I had forgotten my sunglasses in the van. When we arrived at dinner the sunglasses were at the front podium waiting for me. That sweet angel make a special trip to drop off my glasses. Talk about going above and beyond ! ❤️

This was a great tour with a very experienced guide, who gave you lots of information along the way. She also brought along hot chocolate and cookies to have during a rest brake. At great afternoon adventure not to be missed.

This is the second time I've taken this tour while in town at a conference. Highly recommend! The views at the top of the mountain are amazing and it was easy to learn basic snowshoeing. It is a great way to experience the mountains and snow for us non-skiers. Sam was a fantastic guide, always ready to help. Thank you again for adding me last minute -- it would have been a shame to miss this experience.

Exceptional in every way. An experience you will never forget. It’s quite full on if you’ve never done something like this before (like us!), but so worth it. Incredible views, and falling in the snow is actually great fun. Our guides Michael and Josh were so great - helpful, informative, fun, and really patient with us oldies (who were a bit slow!). An exhilarating once in a lifetime experience.

Snowshoeing with our fabulous guide Alina was outstanding! It was the best part of my time spent in Canmore/ Banff . She had little tidbits of knowledge that kept the adventure interesting on the geological history of the area! She was helpful, pleasant and a fabulous guide! This was my second return to do this activity last year our activity was with Meghan which was also an equally as knowledgeable! The views from the continental divide are so Snow White and majestic! I’ll return again for another repeat of this tour!

We had never snowshoed before so we were a little nervous. Jennifer made feel at ease, and she was very helpful.

I was worried whether I’d be able to do this having never snowshoed before! But it was a fantastic experience and I definitely burned some calories. It was snowing on the day we did it, so whilst there were no blue skies it was all the more magical. Highly recommend.

I booked a snowshoeing tour at Sunshine Village. When I was picked up, the guide told me I could not go on the tour because I didn’t have the right pants . I had a base wicking and warmth layer, a mid layer for more warmth and an outer layer that was both wind resistant and water repellent. The guide was adamant and nasty enjoying the power trip of denying me on the van. Personally, I think it was age discrimination as I am over 65. I was so angry and disappointed (it was a beautiful sunny day) the whole day was ruined as no time to book another outing. Fortunately, I was able to go on another day. Our guide, Josh, was great as was the woman at the downtown office. The tour was a wonderful, unique experience with knee-deep snow (I fell the least of everyone so the guide should not have misjudged my abilities) and great views. There were only 4 of us on top of the world with not a sole in sight. My only wish was that is was longer.

First and foremost i have to say Big Thank you to the company for being able to reschedule our tour at the very last minute. We were not properly equipped- which was our fault and therefore could not attend the tour at our original booking. They went above and beyond to make our tour happen next day . Tour itself is an amazing experience and a must for everyone.

Absolutely amazing snowshoe tour! Our guide was 10/10. Learnt so much about local wildlife and weather systems, saw amazing views, tonnes of back-country powder snow, and even got snowed on. Can’t rate this tour high enough, we had such a great time!

It is very difficult if never done, and you will fall a lot, which was okay, but I moved slow as I was afraid to get injured and missed all the comments the guide was sharing with the group

Long, scenic gondola ride and a short chairlift ride to beautiful expansive views and great snowshoeing. Our guide Josh was super friendly and helpful, and he made the trip fun.

Absolutely recommend this amazing adventure!!! Scott was awesome! Loved being picked up at our hotel and not having to catch a bus, the history/geography he provided on the way there and back and the comraderie! He adapts to your speed and provides encouragement and a perfect experience! A must do!!!!

As our annual Christmas family holiday we decided to snowshoe on top of the world. What a wonderful decision. We had so much fun, the weather was not so cold that we could not enjoy ourselves and our guide, Emilio was absolutely delightful. Very experienced and knowledgeable about the area.

Snowshoeing through knee-deep snow was such a fun and unique experience. Being from the UK, this is not something we ever really experience. It definitely harder than you think but overall something to add to your bucket list! Brian was a great guide, highly recommended.

I had THE BEST TIME doing this activity and I highly recommend it to everybody! The level of fitness required was moderate for someone who has never snowshoed in deep snow before but don't let that or the cold deter you because it is worth the amazing views. Definitely bundle up because the "top of the world" is cold. My group's guides, Scott and Emilio, were awesome - very knowledgeable, friendly and made sure we were all safe at all times. Again, super fun and well worth it 100%!!

Brian was such an amazing tour guide, I would 100% recommend this for any family, friends or solo wanting to explore the back country of sunshine meadows banff! Highlight of the trip was getting to stop for hot choccy and cookies and Getting some amazing photos.

We had a fantastic snowshoe experience on the top of Standish chair lift at Sunshine Mountain Resort! Gods country fabulous views a spunky tour guide named Meghan was one of the best….full of knowledge and a few jokes !

The snowshoe at the top of the Earth was an incredible experience! We had mountain peaks around us in all directions, sunshine, and blue sky. six of us were on the tour with our guide Josh. It was a perfect bluebird day! The snowshoe started with Standish viewpoint. We then headed through some pristine spring snow toward Rock Isle Lake where the views were incredible. After a stop for hot chocolate and cookies, we headed back adjacent to the ski terrain. We were glad we had water and sunglasses for our beautiful day. It was definitely a spring day to dress in layers. Josh was very pleasant and engaging as a guide. He made a point to chat with each of us on the tour with restaurant recommendations.

Everything was well organized - from the pick-up from our hotels to being on the mountain and back to our hotels. We’re so happy to have done this tour to enjoy the beautiful winter in the Rockies. I had such a great experience snowshoeing at Sunshine for the first time on Monday that I went again on Friday! I can’t ski or snowboard anymore but didn’t want to miss out on the fun while my family were out on the mountain. I decided to try snowshoeing and doing the On Top of the World tour. I don’t know how many time I said “wow” on the first day — getting to experience so many incredible views of BC and Alberta was amazing. It was quite a work out too! And would rate it as moderate to strenuous. My tour guide Megan was informative, funny, and kind. Since my family decided they wanted to spend their last day at Sunshine, I figured - why not! I’ll go on the tour again!! This time Jack was our guide and it was a bit warmer out and the snow was softer making it so much fun to walk through! I had such a great time — Jack was very accommodating and full of information as well. Thank you, White Mountain Adventures!!! Your team were so helpful and kind (from switching my pickup on Monday to booking me onto the tour the morning-of on Friday). I can’t thank you enough for making my visit to Banff a very memorable one.

Had and amazing time on this trip. The guide Kristi was very knowledgable and professional. As a first time snow shoer and first time in the mountains she made us feel safe. The views were amazing. We had a blast and will definitely be doing this again in the spring.

This is a must do tour. Our guide Kristi was amazing, super friendly and knowledgeable. She made me feel at ease even with my fear of heights. The views were breathtaking. So glad I didnt chicken out.

Had a great time on the Snowshoeing at Sunshine Meadows tour with Kristi. The weather was absolutely gorgeous with sunny, clear skies (hello Mt Assiniboine!) and no wind, and the conditions were perfect with lots of fluffy powder. The trip has you go up the gondola (15 minute ride) and then the Standish chairlift (about 5 minutes) so if you're really afraid of heights this may not be the tour for you. The chairlift especially can be very cold, and while we were lucky with the weather the conditions at the top of the hill can be much colder than you expect, so make sure to wear multiple layers and bring more than you think you'll need. The trip itself is lovely, with some steeper downhill sections that were especially fun due to the powder and some flatter and groomed sections if your legs are getting tired. Towards the end there's an optional fun section through the trees that I highly recommend, as you'll probably be much more comfortable on the snowshoes at this point. You'll have the most fun if you have good balance and are moderately fit, expect to get your heartrate up at least a few times, and you'll definitely fall at least once!

Such a fun and unique tour! Make sure to dress warm, the wind chill is no joke!! Also, the tour guide was very knowledgeable and sweet! Would 100% book again.

Our guide, Jennifer, was amazing. She picked us up at our hotel and stayed with us the whole trip. She was very informative and did an exceptional job explaining how to use the snowshoes and what to expect at different points of our tour. She was an absolute pleasure who interacted with everyone in our group and went out of her way to ensure we all had the best experience possible. The trip itself was a lot of fun and the views were absolutely incredible. It was a great way for the non-skier in our group to witness the majestic beauty around Sunshine. Highly recommend.

Megan, our guide, made this memorable experience full of excitement and hard work. We loved walking in fresh snow and learning about the area. Yes, this is a great cardio workout, but even we in our 50s would do it again.

Thanks Jack (Walleye) and Carson (Sunfish) for a fun and informative snowshoe tour. We took the snowshoe tour as a rest day from skiing and riding the gondola and chairlift into the high country was especially appreciated by the non-skier in our group. Cookies and cocoa were a nice mid-tour snack. Jack and Carson knew the area and followed up the next day with the name of a peak they didn't know. Participants, follow the what-to-bring list, including boots and cold-weather gear. The conditions in the mountains can be much different than in downtown Banff.

I had an excellent day with Jack in sunshine meadows with beautiful weather. Fun, skilled and informative guidance!
