This was really fun’s nd a great way to see both lakes. The shuttle was very clean and had AC which was nice. They gave you enough time at each lake and gave great recommendations on how to spend your time there.
The tour guide, Frank, was excellent. We was informative and engaging. Lake Louise and Moraine Lake were stunning. However, this tour was sold with stops at Peyto Lake, Bow Lake, and Crowfoot Glacier. None of these places were visited. The response from Trip Advisor was that the tour I paid for was a winter itinerary and not part of the summer itinerary. Be sure to read the fine print. Trip Advisor will sell packages that aren't current.
This tour was cancelled due to lack of interest. We were offered 2 other tours instead. We chose a tour to Johnston Canyon & Lake Louise. However, we arrived at Johnston Canyon to find it closed due to a tragedy. Our guide, Eddy, was amazing! He quickly pivoted plans and came up with a tour that we thought was better than the originals. Stunning views at Emerald Lake and the Natural Bridge before visiting Lake Louise! Eddy was friendly, outgoing and very informative. What a wonderful experience! We would absolutely recommend a tour with this company!
Tony was fantastic! Funny, informative, helpful and educating. The tour was perfectly timed at each location. Highly recommended! We went in the winter and it was beautiful walking out on the lakes!
Tour visits a number of highlights of the area that are important to see. Group size was good, though vehicle size could have been better. Staff were helpful.
Great driver, tour guide. Kept us on track and explained sites visited. Was very prompt and helpful.
All day trip. You get to see the highlights of the area in one day. Moraine Lake, Lake Louise, Emerald Lake were all spectacular. Our guide, Chris did a great job.
Greta? (I struggle with names) is a wonderful guide. I had the luck to sit shotgun, she was a lot fun and engaging with the entire bus. Very adaptable switching from English to Spanish at a drop of a hat. Kept us on time with a light hand
LakesMoraine,LouiseAnd Emerald were breathtaking. Curtis looked after us perfectly and we enjoyed all the sights we visited
William was the guide and driver of the tour - William is knowledgeable and passionate about the tour. He aims to create for his customers a memorable and unique experience in Banff. Whilst most of the Banff tours have identical itineraries, Banff Journey's itinerary is different - they do not only take you to the usual popular locations, but they also take you to some hidden gems in the region (and also some hidden spots for better viewing of the beautiful scenery and of course, for taking perfect photos!) ! Subject to weather conditions and the preference of the other tour members, they also take into account your preference and tailor make the tour. For my tour, we managed to hit Castle Junction, Bow Lake, Peyto Lake, Vermilion Lakes, Cascade Ponds, Two Jack Lake, Lake Minnewanka, Bow River and Bow Falls on the day (we've been to some other popular spots on our own)! Of course, how many spots the tour can hit on the day will also depend on how long it stays at each spot.
William was a great guide who took us to some great spots and was always on hand to take photos and was very enthusiastic and obviously enjoyed his job.
Chris was an excellent guide. He took us the most beautiful places in Banff and yoho national park. I will absolutely recommend.
Our guide William planned a fantastic trip—his commentary was thorough, and he kindly helped us taking photos. The crampons provided kept us steady on the ice. We had a truly enjoyable and memorable time!
Nice tour guide and good introduction of the visit. Great travel experience and really enjoyed it. Look forward to the next trip.
Our guide William took us to many scenes that normal tour won’t usually visit! William is nice and will adjusted our trip so that we can see the most numbers of beautiful scenes in Banff. You won’t regret joining the tour.
This was the final tour on my trip and I'd have to say it was the best. I booked last minute since the one I originally planned was cancelled, and was also traveling solo. William made me feel comfortable the entire time. From texting beforehand to introduce himself, arranging hotel pickup which I wasn't expecting, to his overall attitude, patience and knowledge of the area .Was super appreciative he helped out so much with photos which really stood out from the other tours I took The locations were all spectacular and I was so glad to get a chance to visit some places outside of banff that were less crowded and more natural. There was only one small hike which was perfect for me since my feet were killing me from the rest of the week and Im not the most active 😅 Thanks again William! I hope I am in the area soon so I can take one of the other tours
It was. Amazing or driver couldn’t do enough for us so helpful thank you William or amazing driver The views were so amazing Willam new all the great spots
Curtis made sure our experience was great by accommodating all our requests especially when taking pictures. There were changes in our itinerary but he made sure that we still get the most out of it in our day tour
The places we visited were stunningly beautiful. A great day out. The guide originated from Hong Kong and didn't have the best English though he did try hard throughout the day. He had driven from Calgary and was returning there at the end of the day. I joined the tour in Banff. On the way to the last stop at Peyto Lake I suggested to the driver that he has a sleep because it was obvious he was tired as his driving had become erratic. He refused to sleep because he wanted to guide us to the lookout. His driving was worrying on return to Banff and quite frankly, I was relieved to get out there.
Great tour and William was a great guide. Thought it was good value for money and saw lots of wonderful places in that time. The lakes were unbelievably beautiful just like in the photos. Was the sunniest day but was wonderful nevertheless
We did all enjoy our trip, tour guide is good...i think all the people in our trip all have a good time
Very nice excursion, the guide Chris is really good, gives good explanations. We really liked it. The only downside is for dinner, next time I will bring a lunch to have time to shop. The stop is a little too short (1 hour ) in all to eat and shop. Thank you! Chris for a great day.
The customer service responded quickly, and was very attentive, and helped to note the transfer location, the tour guide Chris was very professional, explained in detail, and also shared a lot of Banff sights and knowledge!
