Seeing Moraine Lake and Lake Louise at sunset is like witnessing God’s creation at its absolute finest. What made the trip extraordinary, though, was our guide, Bee. She was so knowledgeable, outgoing, organized, and genuinely charming. After taking in the lakes, Bee tracked down a massive herd of elk with two incredible bulls—a real highlight! If you’re booking with Radventures, do yourself a favor and request Bee. She might not hold the record for running up and down Mt. Temple in a day, but she’s definitely the superior guide to Liam. 10/10!

Sunset is a nice time to visit the lakes - good light for photography, and Lake Louise was relatively uncrowded. Although we got a really good look at some bighorn sheep and brief look at some small deer, there were no bear or elk sightings which I found a bit of a let-down, given that these are mentioned prominently in the tour description and we paid a significant premium compared with other operators' tours to the lakes, Our driver/guide paced the tour well and made the effort to know and use everyone's names.

We had a gloriously blue bird sky so our views of the mountains and lakes were phenomenal. Liam our guide from NZ was brilliant and very knowledgeable! I’d recommend 100% . I hope you get a great weather day too when you book your trip !

We had an amazing experience on the Moraine Lake and Lake Louise sunset tour with Kelly from Radventures! Kelly was fantastic and made the entire experience so enjoyable and memorable. She knew so much about the history of the area and shared interesting information that made our visit even more special. She was also great at navigating everything and making sure we got around smoothly, so we could relax and enjoy the incredible scenery. Both lakes were absolutely breathtaking, and seeing them in the beautiful evening light was unforgettable. Kelly’s knowledge, friendliness, and ability to make the experience seamless made this tour a highlight of our trip to the Canadian Rockies. George was an excellent guide, he was knowledgeable, professional and interacted with all our group. His kindness was evident in making sure everyone managed a few spots in the pathway. Lunch was delicious and we thought the trip had good value.

Our sunrise tour to Moraine Lake and Lake Louise was one of the highlights of our trip to Banff. Watching the sun rise over the mountains and seeing the golden reflections slowly appear across the peaks was simply spectacular. It was one of those moments that photos can barely capture. We were also incredibly lucky at Lake Louise. When we first arrived, the lake was surrounded by clouds and the mountains were completely hidden, creating a beautiful, mysterious atmosphere. Later, the clouds lifted and the mountains appeared in all their glory. It felt like we experienced two completely different versions of Lake Louise on the same visit — both equally beautiful. A special thank you to our guide, Kirsty. She was excellent throughout the entire experience — friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and clearly passionate about the area. She made the day even more enjoyable and helped turn an already beautiful tour into a truly memorable experience. Radventures did an outstanding job with the organization, timing, and overall experience. Seeing Moraine Lake at sunrise without having to worry about transportation or logistics made everything easy and enjoyable. If you are visiting Banff and want to experience Moraine Lake and Lake Louise in a special way, I highly recommend Radventures. This was much more than a sightseeing tour — it was one of those travel experiences we will remember for a very long time.

We loved every minute of the Moraine Lake Sunrise and Lake Louise Golden hour tour. Aaron was an amazing guide! The hot choco and breakfast croissant were delicious. Radventures is the one you want for an unforgettable experience.

This was a great trip on a day where the weather was interchangeable. Due to this we did not witness the sunset, but we did see two amazingly beautiful lakes. Our guide was relaxed, friendly and informative and provided walking poles and umbrellas when needed. The time at Lake Louise could’ve been longer as we only had just enough time to hike to the view point and back allowing no additional time to walk the lake at ground level. However, I can appreciate that this would be a long time for anyone not making their way to the viewpoint.

Gabi was a phenomenal tour guide. She was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. A great tour. Pro tip: if you are staying at Fairmont Banff you can access the Fairmont Lake Louise.

The tour was great, even though the weather was not the best for a sunset. If you take this tour and you happen to get Charlie as your guide, even better. He was funny helpful and full of knowledge. Highly recommend!!

During our stay in Banff we went on the sunset tour of Moraine Lake and Lake Louise. We received detailed information about the trip beforehand, including updates on times and meeting place. Our minibus arrived in good time and our guide Georgia took time to get to know us all. Georgia was friendly and knowledgeable about the local area and pointed out places of interest along the way. Unfortunately, due to rain, the sunset experience was limited, but that did not diminish from the beauty of the lakes. We had an hour at each location, which was just enough to explore and take photos. On the return journey Georgia shared information and anecdotes about local wildlife although none were prepared to make an appearance on this occasion. All in all a pleasant small group trip, and a great opportunity to experience the natural beauty of the lakes at a slightly quieter time of day.

It was a great experience. Both lakes are spectacular and our guide Ellie was the best.

We did Lake Moraine and Lake Louise sunset tour with Tyler. Communication with company was great, van was clean and safe and Tyler did a great job getting us to our spots safely while giving a bunch of details about the area. I would definitely recommend Radventures.

Our guide, Elly, made the experience both educational and entertaining. She obviously loves her job! We had an appropriate amount of time at each stop. We kept to the schedule without feeling rushed. On the drive back, we saw elk and deer, so it lived up to the "wildlife" part of the description.

Moraine Lake and Lake Louise are a must see and I really enjoyed visiting these lakes. We walked up the rocky point at Moraine lake and had only time for a leisurely stroll at Lake Louise. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. The Bow valley parkway was slightly underwhelming - I understand wildlife is wild and there are no guarantees but I feel more effort could have been made to try and slow down/look for wildlife. Do recommend this tour for the lake portion just don’t expect wildlife.

We had a wonderful time on our evening tour. On the drive back we were able to see 3 large male elk🤗Oir guide Ellie was absolutely lovely. She was so knowledgeable and I could have listened to her all day!

Went on the sunset tour of Lake Louise and Moraine Lake and wildlife tour with Gareth whilst in Banff which was great. Moraine Lake was absolutely stunning, and because the tour was late afternoon it was fairly quiet, Lake Louise was nice but very busy. Gareth was very knowledgeable, anpproachable and told us lots of facts, a great tour guide. We even got to see a black bear on our ride home.

We did the sunset tour to Moraine Lake and Lake Louise with Taz as our guide. It was a great tour as we got to see both stunning locations without the crowds that would ordinarily be there. And Taz was a superb guide - full of interesting knowledge and facts as well as being great company.

Wonderful experience! Saw a black bear munching away on berries. Great guide in Emily - very friendly and knowledgeable. Comfortable journey there and back. Nicely paced - enough time for what we needed. Yummy packed dinner with sandwich, can of pop and pecan tart or banana bread.

This was without a doubt the best tour my husband and I have ever been on. Gareth was exceptional with his knowledge and hospitality to the group. Always aware of time and our location status allowed everybody to get the most out of our experience. His attitude about the environment and animals came through during the trip and he took great pictures too! The highlight on the ride back was spotting 2 grizzly bears! Great day I’ll never forget.

Great tour. Lake Moraine was beautiful, but the highlight of our trip was seeing a black bear on the way home. Elly, our guide, was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the area. She pulled over, and we watched for several minutes as the black bear ate berries and walked along the roadway.

Gini was an amazing guide. She is knowledgeable and passionate about the area. The landscape is truly breathtaking. Both Moraine Lake and Lake Louise have to be seen to be believed. Beautiful blue water in the middle of an amazing mountain landscape. Would recommend this operator and this trip wholeheartedly.

What an amazing experience with our very entertaining and knowledgable tour guide, Ellie! The lakes are breathtaking and the sunset tour is amazing because our group of 6 had Lake Moraine all to ourselves! The highlight for me was seeing a black bear during the wildlife portion. I also recommend adding in the dinner because the sandwiches were amazing. And Ellie brought plenty of beverages and bug spray. 10/10!!

Sunset tour of Moraine Lake and Lake Louise was brilliant. Bee and Marnie were super friendly, informative, and great at finding wildlife. We were able to spot two bears, two elk, and at least three or four deer. We had Moraine Lake practically to ourselves and both it and Louise were breathtaking. 10/10 recommend.

Finally got to see Lake Louise after two aborted attempts in 2019 and really enjoyed the calm evening vibe at both lakes. The big downpour and not finding any wildlife on our way back was all mother nature’s fault! And wasn’t for lack of trying. Gareth was a calm and careful driver which I really appreciated and I’d gladly tour with him again! Thanks for a lovely trip :)

Worth the early morning rising. It was magical and serene. We had the absolute best morning. Liam was our guide and he was really great. Knowledgeable. Friendly. Makes a great hot coco and coffee drink.

James was a great guide on this thoroughly enjoyable tour. Although we didn’t witness a sunset, due to very cold and cloudy weather conditions, we got to see incredible sights - and wildlife! At Moraine Lake, a cute little Pika posed for photos. The Rockpile offered up spectacular views over the stunning Moraine Lake, and we had it all to ourselves. As we approached Lake Louise, we got lucky - a Mama grizzly bear and her cub! James allowed us to watch them, at close range (from the safety of the van, of course), without hurrying us along. An experience that will stay with each of us forever, I’m sure. Lake Louise was moody, and beautiful, under low cloud (with snow threatening). The food package included in the deluxe offering was great - a delicious turkey roll, a piece of fruit and banana bread. James is a very friendly, personable, knowledgeable guide, who made this tour a wonderful experience.

A lovely lady who was very knowledgable of the area and even she got a first on our way up to Moraine Lake with the fresh fall of snow. The lakes were stunning and atmospheric with the cloud offering beautiful photo opportunities. Georgia showed us all the best photo spots and the timing meant we almost had our own private Moraine Lake. We were unlucky with the wildlife spotting but you can’t win them all. Georgia is a very considerate and safe driver too through some very wet weather on the journey and even dropped us off back at our hotel. I wish Georgia the very best in her career.

We did a Wildlife Tour with Gareth and the Sunset Tour with Tyler on 2 consecutive evenings and thoroughly enjoyed both of them. Both guides were knowledgeable, informative and provided a great experience. Both tours gave us a greater insight into the wildlife of the Banff/Lake Louise/Mouraine Lake areas and enhanced our time visiting this incredible area. Oh my goodness me what an experience we had on our tour last night ! Gini was absolutely outstanding throughout the evening, and we were so pleased we got to witness her first sighting of a porcupine ! I thought she was going to wet herself at one point 🤣🤣 Exceptionally knowledgable, super friendly and the Canada sights didn’t disappoint! Thank you so much! X

Tour was magical, we were unable to go to Lake Moraine given road closures. However, Bee saved the day and brought us to the stunning Emerald Lake in BC. Bee was very knowledgeable and made the experience even better, Thanks so much bee for the day. Hope this gets u a free dinner x

We had a great sunset tour of Maligne and Louise Lakes with Aaron. This was a last minute option and we're so glad we did it. Aaron was knowledgeable and great sense of humour, we loved hearing about 'The Boss' and we're sure you will too. This was a small group tour which was better to get the most out of our time in both areas. Because of this Aaron had time to take photos of us instead of relying on selfies, so much better to capture such beautiful places. Nothing was too much trouble, the right guide can make or break an excursion, rest assured, if you're lucky enough to get Aaron you'll have Aced it.
