I had a great tour experience. Our tour guide, Mark was friendly and informative about Banff. He stayed on schedule during the tour and was also a safe driver. Things to consider when booking this tour: Be on time at your departure meeting point.. they leave on time. Be sure to wear good grippy shoes because of snow and a bit of ice on the hikes. Marble Canyon can be a challenge, walk slowly because you’re gonna hike approximately 5000ft above sea level.. Bring water for the hike but it was well worth it! Overall, the tour was a 10! I’d book with them again if I were to ever return to Banff.

I went on the tour in October 2026, I only had one free day to spend at the end of a work trip and wanted to see some of the best sites in the area. Anyone in a similar situation should consider the tour a must. Absolutely incredible locations and views. Mark of Grizzly Banff tours was perfect guide for the day, fun + easy going and with lot of local knowledge about the area and the best eating spots in Banff. He also kindly provided complimentary hot drink and photography skills. We had a small group which meant we could chat and get to know each other a bit as well which was also great not just for couples but solo travellers as well.

Lovely experience seeing the major sights. There was also a little bit of hiking, so wear appropriate footwear. Mark, our driver, was punctual, knowledgeable and had great recommendations for lunch in Banff.

Our tour guide SUPER Mario is a super cool person, he provided all the information that you need with his extensive experience on the whole itinerary. Though the winter itinerary is not as interesting as the summer one, I still highly recommend everyone to join this tour. I will come back summer if I have another solo trip.

We had an amazing day exploring Banff with Mark as our tour guide. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the Rockies. From the moment we started, he kept the day organized, fun, and relaxed while sharing great stories and local insight about the places we visited. Lake Louise was absolutely stunning, and Mark made sure we had enough time to enjoy the turquoise water and take photos without feeling rushed. Marble Canyon was a highlight too—the canyon views and rushing water were incredible, and Mark helped us make the most of the stop. He also took us to Surprise Corner for that classic postcard view of the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, then to Bow Falls, where we got some beautiful photos by the Bow River. Mark was patient, easy to talk to, and attentive to everyone in the group. He knew the best spots for pictures, kept the schedule running smoothly, and made the whole experience feel personal rather than just another sightseeing tour. Highly recommend Grizzly Banff Tours! I live in Calgary and my best friend came to town. Definitely wanted to take her to Banff but I didn’t want to deal with parking and taking the shuttle buses to the famous lakes. I thought we could just join a tour for convenience. We had the best time in Banff and we have so many good things to say about our guide Mark! He was so nice and patient to everyone, gave lots of interesting facts about Calgary, Canmore, Banff and all the fun facts that we saw during the drive. Loved the meals on wheels tidbit the most lol. There are so many tour companies out there and we are absolutely glad we chose Grizzly Banff Tours!

This was an amazing day trip with Mark from Grizzly Bear tours. We saw Moraine Lake, Lake Louise and Banff. Mark was knowledgeable, friendly and organized. It was a fun filled day trip with no stress. Highly recommend choosing this company and this guide.

The experience is highly recommended; the places are wonderful. The price is very affordable and commensurate with the experience. As for the duration—one always wants more, of course—it is understood that sticking to the schedule requires adhering to the time constraints. A great atmosphere; the group was the right size, and the guide made us feel comfortable and kept us entertained and informed about everything we saw along the way.

Our tour guide, Scott, was awesome! The tour itself was a little disappointing, as it advertised that Johnston Canyon was one of the stops, but it wasn’t. This was the last weekend for Johnston Canyon to be open and was part of the reason we booked this, so it was a little disappointing. Other than that, Lake Louise, Morraine Lake and Banff were great!

This is our first year in Calgary, and we wanted to take visiting family on a must-see road trip to Lake Louise and Moraine Lake. We opted for the Canmore pickup with Grizzly Banff Tours, which was right on time. Our tour guide, Brooke, was a fantastic driver and shared interesting facts, stories and local tourism tips along the way. She kept everyone informed about timing at each stop, but nothing ever felt rushed. We had plenty of time to explore, take in the scenery and enjoy both lakes while still keeping the day running smoothly. Our fellow travellers on the bus were a wonderful group too, which made the experience even more enjoyable. As a photographer, I couldn’t have asked for much better conditions. A light mist of rain, low clouds and a fresh dusting of snow on the mountains completely transformed the landscape. The weather was constantly changing, with the mountains disappearing into the clouds one minute and revealing themselves the next. Against the incredible turquoise water of Lake Louise and Moraine Lake, it made for some wonderfully moody and dramatic photographs. I came home with some of my favourite images from our first year in Alberta. We’ll definitely book with Grizzly Banff Tours again. If you’re visiting the Rockies and want a relaxed, well-organized way to experience Lake Louise and Moraine Lake without worrying about driving, parking or shuttle logistics, we highly recommend them.

My trip to canada was full of hardships -BUT Grizzly Tours featuring Brooke (the tour guide) was AMAZING! Grizzly tours was: flexible Good at communication ahead of the trip Convenient Fairly priced Brooke was friendly and knowledgeable Everything was on time and we'll planned The mini bus was comfortable The ride went by quickly (even though we got pick up in calgary, 2 hours from the park). This tour was the highlight of my trip to Canada. And this tour day was the BEST vacation day i have ever had! The weather was also ideal....not controllable but awesome. We did a.private tour which i highly reccommend. From the beginning Mike was amazing in helping me olan the tour. Emma was our guide. She is amazing. Knew hernstuff. Had favts along the way and was very interesting. She was very cooperative with anything we wamted to do. She was also very funny and sweet.

It hit all the important things in the park! Having our experienced driver was great. Loved the drive by the beautiful lakes. Amazing!
