I would recommend this trip to everyone. Joseph is amazing. He has all the knowledge on the city, history, and all the scenic spots and kindly answered to our questions. Besides the routes outlined in the itinerary, he would also make special stops for us to appreciate the animals near the autoroute. Also with a background in cinematography, he would offer to take pics for us. His pictures are very professionals and it is a big plus for me. The whole trip was well organized, punctual and he Joseph drove safely and we felt comfortable in the van. I would recommend Joseph and his agency Westar to everyone.

This is the view people travel across the world for, and now it’s yours. Stand before the unreal, glowing turquoise waters of Moraine Lake, surrounded by the towering peaks of the Valley of the Ten Peaks. Take the short Moraine Lake hike up the Rockpile Trail, where you’ll reach the legendary viewpoint known as the “Twenty Dollar View”; arguably the most iconic photo spot in Canada. Or stay lakeside, slow down, and take it all in. Whether you’re capturing photos, exploring, or simply standing in awe, this is a true highlight of any Moraine Lake tour and one of the most unforgettable experiences in Banff and Lake Louise. Seasonal access: June 1 - October 12, 2026.
FROM : OCT 13 - MAY 31 Marble Canyon, light hiking to fully appreciate the canyon's peculiar terrain and waterfall landscape. Marble Canyon has seven bridges to hike, walking in a zigzag pattern over the deep limestone canyon and the meandering creek below. The canyon is where Torkham Creek joins the Vermilion River, where fossilized Cambrian soft-bodied organisms from millions of years ago have been found, and is quite magnificent. A narrow path over the creek leads to a bridge overlooking the canyon below, with frozen waterfalls cascading down from above on the right, a breathtaking landscape and cool pools of impressive water. (From Oct 13 - May 31)
FROM : JUNE 1 - OCT 31 Stop at Lake Louise Village with easy, stress-free Lake Louise village access, right in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. After exploring the icons, this is your moment to recharge your way. Choose from local cafés, casual restaurants, and quick grab-and-go spots in the village. Whether you’re sitting down for a relaxed meal, grabbing something warm and quick, or picking up snacks for the rest of your Banff and Lake Louise tour, everything is right at your fingertips. It’s a simple stop giving you time to refuel, reset, and get ready for the next iconic highlight on your Canadian Rockies day tour.
Step into a different side of the Canadian Rockies at Emerald Lake in Yoho National Park, where the pace slows and the crowds fade. With convenient Emerald Lake access, this 20-minute stop feels more like a quiet escape than a busy attraction. Here, the water shifts to a deep, almost surreal emerald green, set against thick forest and rugged peaks. Instead of rushing, you find yourself naturally pausing, walking a few steps along the shoreline, taking a breath, and noticing how still everything feels. This isn’t about checking off another stop. It’s about experiencing a calmer, more untouched side of a Yoho National Park tour, a moment that balances the energy of the bigger icons with something more grounded and real.
Feel the power of the Natural Bridge in Yoho National Park, where the force of the Kicking Horse River surges through a carved rock formation, creating one of the most dynamic sights in the Canadian Rockies. With quick, easy Natural Bridge access, step right up to the viewpoint and watch the rushing turquoise water thunder beneath your feet. The sound, the movement, and the sheer energy of the river make this stop completely different from the still lakes you’ve seen; this is the Rockies in motion. In just a few minutes, you’ll experience one of the most unique and powerful natural features on any Yoho National Park tour, a must-see for those wanting more than just views.
FROM : JUNE 1 - OCT 31 Step into the energy of Banff Town, the vibrant hub of Banff National Park, with easy Banff town access right along iconic Banff Avenue. Surrounded by mountain views in every direction, this is where the Rockies meet local life. In your 45 minutes, explore boutique shops, pick up souvenirs, or grab something to eat from one of the many cafés, bakeries, and restaurants. Treat yourself to a classic BeaverTails pastry, sip a coffee, or simply wander and take in the atmosphere. This stop is your chance to experience the culture, charm, and liveliness of Banff sightseeing, adding a relaxed, local contrast to your Canadian Rockies tour. (At the end of the tour, drop-off in Canmore is approximately 20 minutes from Banff, while Calgary drop-off is about 1.5 hours.)
After the tour finishes, enjoy a convenient drop-off in Calgary, Canmore, or Banff, making your journey home easy and stress-free.

Joseph was excellent! Very knowledgeable and patient, understanding and fun. I would go back for sure
It was such a fun tour with a wonderful guide! We had plenty of free time at each stop, and the schedule never felt rushed.
It was fun and very kind tour guide Ma’am Dee…She’s very approachable! we hope to look forward for another trip!
Late notice of change in pick up time. The actual trip was fine. No responsibility regarding pick up
My wife and I booked this tour while on vacation. It was a hassle free way to see the lakes! All of the lakes are pretty! Best of all we didn’t have to fight all the other tourists for parking. Our driver dropped us off right by the lakes. I highly recommend this tour!
We had a wonderful trip with our tour guide AHMED on Oct10,2026 to the lakes. But there are a couple of things that I would like to mention to improve any future tours. 1. Please allow your guest to enjoy their favorite drink while in the bus because as you know the road trip is long ! 2. The time for lunch and Emerald lake were short, we did not get enough to enjoy ! Daniyah
As a first-time visitor to Alberta, I couldn't have asked for a better way to experience the Rockies! Our day covering Lake Louise, Emerald Lake, Moraine Lake, Banff, and the Natural Bridge was seamlessly organized from start to finish. A huge shoutout to our incredible tour guide and driver, Ahmed! You can truly tell how much he loves what he does. He kept us entertained the entire way with fun trivia, deep historical facts, and fascinating details about the local wildlife and surrounding geography. Beyond his hilarious sense of humor, Ahmed was extremely punctual, an exceptional driver, and made sure every single person on board was having a fantastic time. If you’re visiting Alberta, this tour is an absolute must. 10/10 would recommend!
The places we visited were beautiful and our leader and driver were great. We lucked out with a beautiful day.
The car was bad at a point, and the car was over heating and had to stop for a while, instructor was very good, patience and friendly.
Ahmed made our tour wonderful! Great day exploring the lakes. He was very accommodating to everyone’s schedules and took time to be everyone’s photographer. Tour was in a Mercedes sprinter van and we were only 11 people so very “private”. 10/10 recommend!
The trip itself was fine, and we saw what we set out to see. However, haing arrived the pickup point early as requested, on arrival the driver announced a change to the itinerary and we have to wait another 45 minutes before setting off. Having waited half an hour already we were none too happy. Before our return to the drop off point we were asked if we would mind transferring to a 'sister' bus so he didn't have to go back to Banff. We agreed as it was a more comfortable coach as opposed to a 'small luxury bus' and we were dropped off at our hotel. The trip and 'experience' itself was fine, plenty of time for walking around and photo opportunities, but very frustrating having to hang around for so long at the begining.
Absolutely the best way to see Lake Louise and Moraine Lake. Ahmed was entertaining and knowledgeable and took great photos.
We had such an amazing time on this tour! Our tour guide, Ahmed, was absolutely fantastic. He was funny, friendly, caring, and very energetic throughout the whole day. He didn’t just guide us, he really joined in and made the experience feel fun and personal. The tour was very immersive. Ahmed was hiking with us, making sure everyone was comfortable, and sharing interesting information along the way. You could really tell that he cared about making sure we had the best experience possible. We honestly felt like we got the maximum out of our day. The tour company was also very reliable and well organized, which made the whole experience even better. We had so much fun and would definitely book with them again in the future. Highly recommended, especially if you can get Ahmed as your guide! He really made the tour unforgettable. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We had a great day with Ahmed. Our ride was on time. Ahmed gave us a lot of interesting information and also had a good sense of humour. Also appreciate that he offered to take a photo of us at every stop.
I had an amazing time on the day tour from Calgary to the Canadian Rockies with Banff & Yoho Highlights. The tour guide Ahmed went above and beyond to make the day special. He was very knowledgeable about the parks and knew how to keep the tour bus entertained along the way. He also gave us a safety briefing about the wildlife in the parks. The company Westar Travel responded quickly during their business hours when I had questions before the tour. We started at Lake Louise and I walked a little ways along the lake for some photos. At Moraine Lake, I took some photos below and then hiked up the Rockpile Trail for stunning views of the blue water! For lunch at the Lake Louise Village Grill & Bar our guide got us in right away and the food came quickly. I even had time to get a quick souvenir at the shop next door. The quick stops at Emerald Lake and Natural Bridge were plenty of time to look around and take photos and also go to the little gift shop at Emerald Lake. It was so cool to visit Yoho National Park in British Columbia. Ending the day at Banff Avenue, I got to try the BeaverTails pastry! It was a great day and a fantastic tour! Highly recommend it!
Very Disappointing Shuttle Experience I am very disappointed with our experience with Westar Travel and the driver, Ahmed. The shuttle left at exactly 1:25 PM, and one passenger was left behind. The passenger had accidentally left her phone and wallet inside her bag, and she had mentioned that this was her first time in Canada. Seeing her being left behind was very upsetting and stressful for everyone in our group. What made the situation more frustrating was that the driver, Ahmed, had not clearly told us beforehand that he would leave immediately if a passenger was even one minute late. We were not expecting that a passenger could simply be left behind without any warning or attempt to contact her. I had a heated argument with Ahmed because I was very upset about the situation. My whole family witnessed this, and it made what should have been a pleasant trip into a very stressful experience. I understand that drivers have schedules to follow and need to be on time. However, I believe there should also be clear communication, reasonable consideration for passengers, and a proper procedure for situations like this, especially when someone is visiting Canada for the first time. I hope Westar Travel reviews what happened and considers improving communication and passenger procedures so another family does not have to experience the same situation.
The bus was 40 minutes late picking us up and continued to run late after every stop because of the same passenger group, with no enforcement from staff. Our guide, Ahmed, was off-putting and overbearing. I've never been on a paid tour where the guide attempted to force participation in trivial activities. Instead of sharing information and interesting facts about the places we were seeing and the wildlife, we were made to play a "21 Questions" game to guess passengers' jobs, which then led into a discussion of the guide's other career as a mechanical engineer. It was ridiculous. Our time off the bus was also cut short because our guide insisted on gathering everyone to follow him as a group, so a scheduled 45-minute stop would end up being only about 35 minutes of actual exploring. Additionally, the coach was old and smelled, and passengers were not allowed to bring food or drinks on board, even though it was a 10-plus-hour tour. Ahmed also made several off-putting comments and jokes. When a female guest brought a drink (with a lid) onto the coach, Ahmed jokingly asked if he should kill her, presumably as a comment on her breaking the no food or drink rule. I would not recommend this tour or company.
Ahmed, was an excellent tour guide, very knowledgeable about the area and the surrounding countryside. Ample time at each spot.
The lakes were outstanding The driver was not great He was too talkative All the time Weird sense of humor I’m Brazen Almost left one solo traveler didn’t wait 5 min left the had us vote to go back for her Very hard to understand his accent Brazen Bold Kind of in your face The excursions were amazing but he was did not make the trip relaxing
Shuttle was pretty cramped but was able to get my elderly aunt next to the door. The sites were beautiful and worth the trip. Didn't much care for the driver.
This was a wonderful, full day of seeing all the incredible sights. Took us to all the beautiful lakes, a good hour plus at each lake to explore. Our driver was very easy going and our Tour Guide, very exceptional. Ahmed Arafa keep,us informed and amused throughout the complete trip. We had an exceptional fun group,of,people on the bus. Slight mis-hap with the muffler but all was good. We even had a sing song up the mountain.
I had such a wonderful time throughout the day. Moraine Lake was breathtaking, and Lake Louise was so peaceful. All the spots were amazing, but the best part by far was our guide, Ahmed. He was so welcoming and brought such a fun, positive vibe to our group. Also, I really appreciate that he was such an awesome photographer for us. I was impressed by his professionalism as well. We actually had a little issue during the tour, but he handled it so quickly and found the best solution. He never forgot to smile and kept making us laugh. Highly recommend!
We had a great tour with Ahmed to Emerald Lake, Moraine Lake, Lake Louise and Natural Bridges. Ahmed was very friendly and courteous, and provided a lot of information about the area as we drove from place to place. The lakes were beautiful and we were happy we weren't trying to park our own car at each location. The other guests were fun to meet and share the experience with. Overall, it was a great day and worth the time and cost to enjoy these nature sights.
Our Banff tour was an overall 9 out of 10 experience! The trip was well-organized, enjoyable, and a wonderful way to experience the breathtaking scenery of Banff. Our tour guide, Ahmed, was informative, friendly, and attentive throughout the trip. He made sure everyone was comfortable, well-informed, and taken care of. His knowledge and genuine care for the group made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a memorable trip, and I would definitely recommend this tour to others visiting Banff!
It was a memorable trip with breathtaking views. The tour guide Ahmed from Westar was very helpful. Would like to come back and spend more time in and around Banff.
Ahmed was a great tour guide and was very knowledgeable, he went above and beyond to ensure we had a great day visiting the lakes. The only issue was the bus itself, either have a bigger bus or reduce by 2 people as 2 people had to sit at the back on the wheel arch. There was no leg room at all. I endured it for an hour, it was very uncomfortable and I spent the first 5 minutes at Lake Louise trying to get the circulation in my leg back.
Visiting Moraine Lake is a must. Hiking Fairview Lookout at Lake Louise is a great workout. Half mile trek up was well worth it.
We had an amazing day visiting Lake Louise, Moraine Lake, Emerald Lake, and Natural Bridge. Every stop was absolutely beautiful, and even with the cool and misty weather, the views were breathtaking. Our tour guide, Ahmed, was friendly, helpful, and made the whole experience easy and enjoyable, especially traveling with kids. We had enough time to enjoy the scenery, take lots of photos, and create wonderful family memories. Thank you, Ahmed, for such a memorable day in the Canadian Rockies! We would definitely recommend this tour to families and friends. ❤️
Lunch options. Too many people trying to have lunch in 45 minutes. Luckily, we found a bar that served food.
We were very happy that we were in a large, comfortable motorcoach. We got to see the three lakes, and the natural bridge. It was very easy and we were happy that we did the tour. Our tour guide, Ahmed, was very sociable and easy-going, and answered all of our questions
So glad we took the tour instead of driving ourselves. The parking lots were full, and it was not peak season. Our family would have liked hearing more information about the area during the tour. We didn’t talk much about the history or culture during the tour.
This is a smart and hassle-free way to enjoy the scenery at Banff. Lee, our tour guide and driver from Westar was very knowledgeable, dependable.
It is a full day but goes really fast. The tour guide, Lee, was awesome. Wish I had a little more time at Lake Louise. Overall a great tour and saw some beautiful sights.
We had such a great time on this Banff tour! They took us to all the major attractions, and it was such a nice and easy way to see so much of Banff in one day. Our driver was amazing very kind, friendly, and helpful throughout the whole trip. And Ahmed, our tour guide, was honestly the best! He was so informative but also really funny and made the whole experience so much more enjoyable. Unfortunately, it was raining during our tour, so the views weren’t as amazing as they could have been. But Ahmed really went out of his way to keep us smiling and make sure we still had a great time. He was so positive, helpful, and patient with us, and we really appreciated everything he did. Ahmed truly made a difference in our experience, and we are very grateful for all his help and kindness. He was wonderful, and we would definitely recommend this tour!
A well organized and interesting tour that ran one-time to each stop. Our guide Helena shared many interesting details about the area and points of interest and was engaging with the participants. My only complaint was not having as much time at Emerald Lake as at Lakes Moraine and Louise.
We had such a wonderful day exploring Banff, Lake Louise, Moraine Lake, and Emerald Lake! Our guide Ahmad was kind, knowledgeable, and made the experience truly special. Highly recommend this tour — a wonderful experience from start to finish!
We had a great tour with Viator's Westar Travel Ltd. Ahmed was our tour guide, he arrived on time and was very knowledgeable with the areas we were going to. He was funny and kind to my kids. He asked the group our opinions and where we wanted to go. He was clear with instructions and made sure everyone had a great time. We would highly recommend this tour to family and friends!
The tour transportation (West Star) did not show up. My family (12 people) waited for 4 hours before they finally sent a tour van to pick us up. This is after I called and talked to the customer rep person numerous times. It was a very long day!
The recent bus tour provided a fantastic way to experience the area, starting with the incredible convenience of the Canmore pickup location. Traveling in a smaller vehicle made the entire experience much more comfortable and intimate—it was never overcrowded, which was a huge plus compared to standard large-coach tours. Our tour guide, Dee, truly made the trip special with a wonderful personality, fun local facts, and helpful insider tips all along the route. Safety was also a top priority throughout the journey, with smooth, secure driving that allowed everyone to relax and take in the scenery. The only minor drawback was the pacing at a few stops; the time allocated felt a bit too rushed, and an extra 15 to 20 minutes at some of the highlights would have been ideal to fully soak everything in. Overall, it is an engaging, well-run tour that comes highly recommended, especially for the personalized feel and great guiding.
We had a pleasant experience and Ahmed was brilliant he made our tour memorable. We enjoyed the every bit of it. Shout out to Ahmed
I chose this company for my parents' trip to Lake Louise and Lake Menglian. Their tour guide, Kan, is very dedicated. My parents are very satisfied with him, and they are also very satisfied with the company's travel arrangements.
Great tour. Enough time to see everything :) Ahmed was our guide and he was amazing. He was informative and kept us on schedule!
Ahmad was our tour guide and he was amazing! Great knowledge about the area and did his best to keep to group on time for all stops, he would keep an eye on all his guest during stops to see if they needed helps, information or pictures taken! 10/10! Ps those are wine glasses with grape juice but my mom wanted that idea!
The sights were beautiful and our driver Micheal and guide Ahmed made the driving time entertaining.
The tour was great, it is really worth to visit the beautiful lakes and spots! Ahmed was our guide, he made the day even more interesting and pleasant.
Great guide, small group and the most amazing sights! Lake Louise, Moraine Lake, Emerald Lake and the Natural Bridge. Each one unique and spectacular! Ben, our guide, was really good.
This was a perfect day trip to explore the lakes while travelling with senior parents and younger children who don’t want to do rigorous trails but still experience the beauty of the destinations offered. Ahmed our tour guide was full of knowledge and very helpful and engaging. His jokes kept the mood light and energetic. We thoroughly enjoyed our day out!!
You don't have to worry about logistics, parking. Just get on the bus and it takes you to all the sights with no hassle, practically door to door service to each sight. Our guide and driver, Dave (Zhikun Zhu) was super knowledgeable, friendly and kind. He drove very safely throughout the trip, picked us up on time, explained the highlights of each sight. The whole experience was stress free and so enjoyable. I would do it again. I heard so many stories of the hassle of getting a parking spot at Lake Louise and didn't want to go through that. Also if I was driving on my own I wouldn't have gone to all those places in 1 day.
This was an excellent one day trip to see many of the beautiful lakes and see the great scenery in the Rockies. Ideal if you only have a few days and want to see many things! Our tour guide Ahmed gave us great information about the area, flora and fauna but in particular he was a great driver!
