A must see! Breathtaking never seen lakes that looked so beautiful especially with the mountains behind them.

We had such a great time! Kimmy was our tour guide and she was excellent (and very funny). My fiancé liked her driving as well (it was so good it lulled him to sleep). Kimmy was also very knowledgeable about all the places she took us and gave us fun facts about different things we passed driving along the way. 10/10 experience, would definitely recommend to anyone visiting!

We did the small group half day tour of Lake Louise and Moraine Lake on the last day of the season - it was PERFECT! Our tour guide, Apple, was funny and a delight. She was very knowledgeable and knew of the best places for photo opportunities. We did a morning tour which was wonderful. I am so glad we booked through Rockies Journey - will recommend over and over again!

The arrangement of transportation and time is great, and the driver (aka the tour guide) is helpful and a good story teller. Of course Lake Louise and Moraine Lake is amazing!

First, Kimmy our guide was excellent. She talked the whole way explaining everything. She hiked the whole difficult way. Her personality was great. Lake Morraine was the best stop.

The shuttle service is excellent. They came on time for pick up. The bus itself is clean and neat. Our tour guide Kenneth is funny and informative. He makes our journey so enjoyable. They also provide little snacks and water which I think is so sweet and warm. I would defenitely recommend Rockies Journey to anyone who are planning their trip.

Jessie was a great guide. He gave interesting commentary as we drove but gave quiet time too. He also had water bottles and snacks. Lake Louise was beautiful but Lake Moraine was stunning. Great tour, highly recommend it!

If you are a larger size person, the seats on the bus are pretty narrow. Bring your own snacks, Lake Moraine is very busy and crazy expensive.

This trip was perfect in many ways. We’re not big on all day tours, so the total amount of time was perfect as well as the time allotted for each lake. Our tour guide Kenneth was an absolute professional who shared history and fun facts while we were traveling, and has a great sense of humor.

Wear comfy clothes & shoes! The trail at Moraine Lake was steep at times & rugged (but breathtaking). My husband had to stop halfway, his back & knees were complaining! Our guide, Apple (?) was very entertaining, answered all our questions and was looked out for our safety. Highly recommend.

Apple was very kind, and quite witty. She was helpful taking photos, pointing out highlights, and helped those that needed assistance in and out of the van.

It was a great tour. Our guide Boyd and the driver were wonderful. We were taken to a waterfall that was an extra stop. I would recommend this tour.

This was a great half day trip! Despite the rainy weather, the two locations were beautiful! Our tour guide Boyd was amazing, so knowledgeable and kind. Doing a half day tour gave us time before & after to explore Banff Town, highly recommend!

Very comfortable drive to Lake Louise and Morraine Lake. Kimmie was a very good and informed driver She kept us entertained. The sights are beautiful.

Kenneth our guide was excellent- lots of knowledge & pointed out the best areas to go to. Only downside was the activity provider (Rockies Journey) in their reminder message added that the guide would collect $15 per person as a tip/service fee which I found to be a little insulting. Of course we would tip but didn’t need a reminder or told how much. Other than that a great trip.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and he went the extra mile with a stop at Bow falls. The only thing I would suggest if you’re a hiker there’s not enough time at Lake Louise and Lake Morraine to hike too far. But other than that I highly recommend!! Absolutely breathtaking views!! Also they provided snacks and water another added bonus!!

Both places are wonderful to see but we thought Moraine Lake was the better for walking and photographs. If you are walking compromised Lake Louise will be better. The tour organiser was great, our trip was planned for a later date but the weather did not look promising and they were very helpful in changing. the driver was great.

Tour was on time, covered the things we wanted to see. Our guide/driver was good at making sure we saw the key points of both lake areas and left us time to explore a little on our own. Met our expectations. I would recommend.

Really enjoyed our trip to Lake Louise and Moraine Lake! Everything was well planned and we didn’t have to worry about anything. The vehicle was clean and very comfortable, which was a big plus. JES was a great guide — friendly, patient and easy to talk to. He made sure everyone was comfortable and enjoying the trip. Overall, it was a lovely day and we’re very happy we joined this tour!

We had an amazing trip with Rockies Journey to Banff, including Lake Louise and Moraine Lake! Everything was well organized, and the whole experience was smooth and enjoyable. The car is very clean and comfortable .

Nice for everything , professional tour guide

I came with family and Boyd our Guide was fantastic. He was friendly, fun and very helpful for our family member with mobility issues. It was a half day tour and we didn’t feel rushed. Boyd gave recommendations of how to spend time at Lake Moraine and Lake Louise effectively to get the most of the experience. It was a really great tour!

Booking this tour was the best option for our family of five. We truly enjoyed our day at both lakes. Kenneth was an absolutely wonderful driver and tour guide. He took care of us and provided us with water and snacks. He was funny, entertaining and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this company.

We were picked up promptly and had just over an hour at each lake which was perfect for a short walk, photos and to sit and watch a while. Our driver (Gary) and guide (Ray) shared lots of interesting information about the area. A lovely morning with none of the worry about finding a parking space.

The guide was cheerful and responsive. He spent too much time talking about his personal journey.

Kenneth was very informative about Lake Louise and Moraine Lake. He advised where we would have the best views and was also available for photos. His stories were entertaining and his love for the mountains was inspiring.

The instructions were to be at the pick-up point half an hour early. There were several groups leaving from that area, and no representative from the tour company until the departure time! English was obviously not the first language for our guide and he was hard to understand. The sites were amazing!

I’m quite upset at this provider. First, they sent out a text the day before saying it was going to be sunny so people should bring just light layers. We could clearly see from Weather.com that it was going to be around zero Celsius when the activity started, and it wasn’t going to be above 4 degrees by the time it ended. With dress appropriately, but we saw several travelers dressed and very light clothes potentially because of the text. A much bigger issue is that our guide, Apple, was very bad. We got very little useful information during the tour, but most importantly, she was not knowledgeable at all about the trails around Lake Louise. She did not give us proper directions for the loop near the lake (there were multiple trails branching off so I’m glad I used the AllTrails app). And she said the trail should take about 45 minutes. The trail was extremely treacherous with slippery roots all over the place and fallen trees in many places. It rained all morning so it took us a long time to navigate the trail despite being pretty experienced hikers. It took over an hour with us essentially running (which was very dangerous) once we were back to the lake level. we barely made it before the van departed again.

While our driver was kind and gave us water and snacks, he provided very little information about the land formations, history, climate etc. We drove through the mountains and along the river in relative silence. He basically drove us to the lakes and pointed out the bathrooms. He was a driver not a guide.

Although the weather wasn't cooperative, the tour guide and the experience were still excellent! Highly recommend for someone who only has a half day and wants to knock a few big ones off the list. I will never forget the view of Moraine Lake from the rock pile for the rest of my life!
