Surprise Corner is where Banff gives you its best "wow" moment—an incredible panoramic view of the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, framed by towering peaks and the rushing Bow River. It’s the perfect spot for that jaw-dropping photo, and trust us, the name makes sense—you won’t see it coming! Another quick stop, but one you won’t forget.
Bow Falls is where raw power meets stunning scenery—a rushing, wide waterfall surrounded by rugged cliffs and lush forest. Feel the mist on your face as you watch the Bow River thunder downstream, creating a scene straight out of a movie. It’s an easy stop, but one that leaves a big impression!
Lake Minnewanka is where the mountains meet the water in the most epic way—huge, deep-blue, and stretching farther than any other lake in Banff. Whether you're skipping rocks, taking a boat ride, or just breathing in that fresh mountain air, it feels like a secret slice of paradise. And if you’re lucky, you might even spot some bighorn sheep chilling by the shore! (Depending on the traffic situation, we will visit here INSTEAD OF Bow Falls and Surprise Corner. What an incredible tour! I highly recommend booking with Banff Everyday Tours! The tour has very convenient pick up from multiple locations (Banff, Canmore, or Calgary). We got picked up from Calgary and were treated with a wonderful tour from Joshua. From his facts, to his stories, and just his overall personality were a highlight of the tour. The views were absolutely stunning and the stops informative. We visited Lake Louise, Marble Canyon, Banff, Bow Falls, and Surprise Corner. Joshua was always on schedule and very friendly and knowledgeable. There is a reason there are tons of great reviews. Must book if you’re ever in the area!
The day tour was really good. Our guide Joshua was really informative and had a great sense of humor. The short hike in nature in the snow followed by a hot coffee and maple cookies, prepared by our guide was the best. The whole thing really exceeded my expectation.

I'm from Calgary but never been to Moraine Lake since I moved to Canada in 2022. But I've been to Lake Louise multiple times and it's always during winter. Celebrated my birthday to see how beautiful Lake Louise and Moraine Lake is. It was pretty amazing. I might do this again next year. Mike is an incredible and amazing tour guide. There's a lot of things that I have not known about Alberta and he was giving us some fun facts on our way.

I'd never seen a lake as blue as this, a beautiful Azure blue. The only other place you see this colour sea, natural pool is New Zealand.

We had a wonderful time on our tour today! Our guide, Mike, was fabulous. So knowledgeable, witty, and just easy to get on with. This is a great tour to take a the start of your trip if you are in the area of a few days as not only do you get to see some of the main sights, but you also get ideas for what to do next! The bus was clean, heat worked great, and Mike’s selection of music was on point. Would definately recommend and book again.

Tour guide BOB ? 100/10 stars ! He is exceptional, i truly enjoyed every second of the tour because of him. He is truly a professional and naturally a nice person. Why i gave 4 stars then ? - During the canyon hike, it’s clearly stated that the equipments like ( Shoes, sticks .. ) will be provided, that being said you didn’t provide any of those. I saw two old couples stepping back and loosing the whole experience because their shoes was not suitable for hiking during a snowy day. Even though they didn’t complain, i truly didn’t like that what was promised was not provided to them. They missed a great experience and great views that they deserved to see. If the equipments are not provided, then kindly remove them from the list, let people know at least. Otherwise, it’s a highly recommended tour from my side, BOB made it even way much better. Go for it, you won’t regret !

This tour is absolutely amazing! Joshua is the best guide, hands down. He's full of knowledge and passion for the job. Joshua made sure the group felt connected and involved in all activities during the trip. Lake Louise is even more stunning in person—no photo or painting has done justice to seeing it in person. Marble Canyon is surreal. I kept thinking "how is this place real" as we walked and explored.

Mike was clearly a cut above other guides, so I wasn't surprised that he is an accredited interpretive guide. He shared wonderful historical stories, stories about geology, and his clear enthusiasm as a local Calgarian for his community and the nature around him. Mike was thoughtful, funny, and warm, sharing coffee and maple cookies and his reflections as a local with his small group. A skillful group leader, he guided us through ice breakers and encouraged us to get to know each other, setting the stage for a warm and funny group experience. Mike even took great pictures of me, which my family appreciated! The quality of this experience was top notch.
We had a wonderful time, everything was well done and the scenery was beautiful. What heightened the trip even further was our tour guide, Joshua. I would recommend to anyone that journeys to the area. Joshua was extraordinary, his joy, passion, and knowledge of the trip from Calgary and throughout the entire tour was contagious. His decision to add the Marble Canyon portion of the tour was a fantastic experience. Would have liked to have more time in Banff but the other experiences more than made up for that.

Roger made the trip fun, informative and personal! Our trip encompassed Lake Louise, Marble Canyon, a stop off in Banff and then 2 more stops to bow falls viewpoint and surprise corner. We departed from Banff (pick up 9:30) and finished up our segment of the tour approx 15:45, it was a great day!
Roger was the best tour guide I’ve ever had. He was incredibly friendly, engaging, and highly knowledgeable throughout the entire excursion. When he learned about my passion for golf, he went out of his way to drive us through several local courses just so I could see the layouts—an unexpected and thoughtful touch that made the day even more memorable. Mike is an amazing guide. He is knowledgeable and gave us all the information about Canmore/Banff. This tour is highly recommended especially if you are on a tight schedule.
We could never have seen so much, so easily. Having our driver/guide, Mike, take care of the traveling details made it so relaxing. He also gave us lots of interesting information along the way. This took about 8 hours, and the small group gave us opportunity to ask questions.
