Lake Louise, Johnston Canyon, Bow Falls, Banff Town 1 Day Tour

I had a fantastic day on this tour. I was in Calgary for a conference and only had one free day, so I wanted to make the most of it and see as much of Banff and the Canadian Rockies as possible. This tour was a great choice. Our guide, William, was excellent—knowledgeable, fun, and engaging throughout the day. He also went out of his way to take lots of photos for us, which I really appreciated. Just as importantly, he did a great job keeping everyone on schedule without making the day feel rushed. Because of that, we were able to see everything on the itinerary and really make the most of our time. The scenery was spectacular, and having William handle the logistics made the whole experience easy and enjoyable. Banff was one of the highlights of my trip to Calgary. Highly recommend this tour, and especially William as a guide!

Nice enough tour. However - The Ford vehicles used by this company and others are very noisy and the whole vehicle shakes and rattles over any bump, making any longish journey very uncomfortable. The suspension is an abomination. These vehicles should be scrapped or at least modified with modern suspension.

Edward was engaging and entertaining. Timely, without rushing the group. Helpful and courteous at all times. He made sure to keep things safe for everyone. I would highly recommend.

Perfect! The itinerary was very well planned.

It doesn't stop off in bamff like I wanted but the lakes were very beautiful. Even though it rained until we left ,then the sun came out .

The tour to Johnston Canyon, Lake Louise and Moraine Lake was great. Our driver Chris was pleasant and knowledgeable. He timed our arrivals to the attractions well and made excellent suggestions on where to go to avoid the crowds. My only criticism of the day was the 15 passenger van was completely full. We were 4 older travellers and were the last passengers to be picked up. I had to sit over the wheel well in the rear of the van which was very uncomfortable. My husband who has bad knees was likewise very uncomfortable with little room to stretch.

Our guide Chris was excellent. We were 7 people in a smaller shuttle, which was very comfortable, and flexible because we were a small group. Due to rain, we were able to agree on switching around the stops for the day to hit good weather. Nice to be able to relax and rest on the shuttle all the way from downtown Calgary, and not have to worry about driving or parking.

The water was refreshing and ice cold to the touch. Seeing the lakes and the surrounding scenery reminded me of the beauty of creation and how amazing it is to immerse yourself in nature.

This Banff tour was a great experience. The bus was clean, comfortable, and even had a spotless restroom onboard. Our guide was friendly, giving us a great overview of the area. Highly recommend if you want a relaxing, well-planned way to explore Banff!

Really enjoyed the trip, it was the perfect amount of time at each stop. Time for 3 hikes of 2km each at each stop, to explore the lakes and falls. The Guide was awesome! Thank you!

It was a wonderful experience. Had time to stop and sightsee and eat lunch. Except for at Johnston Canyon should’ve had a longer time to hike up to the Falls. Guide was very friendly, informative, and helpful.

Wonderful Tour Experience with Exceptional Service We recently took a bus tour from Calgary to visit the breathtaking Moraine Lake, and I can't express enough how lovely the trip was. Our guide, Dee, was exceptional—his attentiveness and care made all the difference for us, as we are seniors and not in the best of health. Dee was incredibly considerate, always checking in on us and running back to the bus to fetch anything we needed, including water. His kindness and thoughtfulness truly enhanced our experience. At the end of the tour, he even drove us all the way back to where our car was parked to ensure we got home safely. The tour itself was well worth the money, and we had the chance to explore stunning locations like Moraine Lake, Lake Louise, Banff, Bow Falls, Surprise Corner, Lake Minnewanka, and Two Jack Lake. Each spot was more beautiful than the last! I highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to explore the beauty of the Canadian Rockies, especially if you have a guide like Dee who goes above and beyond for his guests. We had an amazing time on Banff Journey with our tour guide D. We traveled with two adults and two kids (6 and 8) and everyone really enjoyed the day. Our tour guide gave us lots of historical and cultural information during the car ride, which kept us entertained even on the drive. He went out of his way to make sure everyone got the best pictures at each of the stops and even showed us some secret spots that were less touristy. Aside from the tour guide, the locations that traveled to were probably the most beautiful places I have ever been. Moraine Lake and Lake Louise are breathtaking. There were some sites that did require some minor hiking and climbing steps, but our entire family was able to do it without much problem. I definitely would recommend Banff Journey to anyone!

We spent 2 days with Banff Journey and had a fantastic experience! Our tour guide, Tommy, was great—he ensured there was sufficient time at each spot and knew exactly where to take the best photos. Communication was smooth through email and WhatsApp, with quick responses. They also sent the itinerary a day before the tour, which was helpful. I appreciated the flexibility with the pick-up location as well. Overall, it is good to join the tour so as to maximize the places of visit.

We visited so many places, our tour guide Curtis was great, very knowledgeable, drove carefully, was punctual and nice. He waited for each person at every stop and helped to take lots of nice photos . It was dark out when we left Calgary and dark when we got back, however he made us feel safe and explained the route and notable sights even from Calgary. Frozen waterfalls, mountains, trails, lakes, it was all so beautiful. The vehicle was clean and comfortable. Overall, it is really good value . The only downside was that he demanded a 15$ tip at the end of the tour from each person, which in itself isn’t a problem as most people would have been willing to give even more as a tip but to demand it? No! If so, why not just add this to the price so we know upfront that it’s whatever is listed in the website plus $15

The time alloted for each stop was enough. We were not rushed. And our tour guide was very accommodating and helpful to my sister who has mobility issues.

Have a local driver that knew everything about the area, wish there was more time to visit each location

Our guide, Jarrod, was great at communicating logistics. He was knowledgeable, engaging and entertaining. We had just the right amount of time at each spot and were able to experience the views best due to our guide’s recommendations. The other tours we looked at did not include Johnston’s Canyon, so we are happy we chose this tour because it gave us a chance to get in a nice hike. It was an excellent experience all the way around. I highly recommend it.

Exceptional tour from pick-up to drop-off. Jarrod was an awesome tour guide! He answered questions, shared humorous stories, recommended local spots and must see places in the surrounding areas. Lake Louise and Lake Moraine were magnificent. We were in awe of these views. The hike at Johnston Canyon was cool. We enjoyed the forest and meandering river. Highly recommend the tour company.

Awesome tour with Ben as our guide. He was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful! This tour was so wonderful because we didn’t have to worry about getting to these beautiful places on our own. Gorgeous Lake Moraine would not have been accessible in a personal vehicle, so it was wonderful to be able to see the scenery and the breathtaking lakes without the hassle of driving, parking, etc.

Moraine lake was my fav part of the whole trip. The driver was a good man , informative and very helpful.

Can’t beat the experience for the price. Transport with plenty of time at each location. Only issue was a change in departure time, si if you book be sure to reconfirm time.

⭐️⭐️⭐️‐️‐️ for Tony our guide. He was considerate with great attention, he gave many explanations and advice. Small group of 9 people in a comfortable bus. The only negative point, due to lack of participants, we were not able to enjoy the visit in French (which is why we chose this provider). So we understood only part of the explanations (the fault to our English). We were informed of this change the day before.

Edward is a great tour guide with fun humor and takes us to many beautiful sights.
