As this was our first time in Alberta, we decided against renting a car because we wanted to relax and enjoy the scenery. I did a lot of research on the internet to find private transportation and decided on the private Icefields Tour with ABest Transport and Tour Services. They responded to my email inquiry promptly and the booking process was quick and easy. Our driver Manny was an absolute pleasure. He arrived at our hotel ahead of schedule and let us know that he was there. The SUV that he picked us up in was very clean and comfortable. Manny made it clear that the day was ours to do what we wanted as this was a private tour. After listening to what we had in mind, he planned the perfect day for us. We stopped at Lake Louise, Bow Lake, and Peyto Lake. Even though the lakes were frozen over, the scenery was stunning. We made a quick stop near the Columbia Icefield and Athabaskan Glacier and also saw some frozen waterfalls. Some of the stops that are usually done on the tour in summer were closed for winter so we decided to visit Jasper and have lunch. We shared a great meal at the Jasper Brewing Co. After lunch we drove around Jasper and stopped at Patricia and Pyramid Lakes. Manny made the day special for my son and me. He is personable, entertaining, and very knowledgeable about the area. He is a safe and careful driver. We loved that he took many photos of us. We also used ABest for our private rides between the Calgary Airport and Banff. I really like that they are a local company. I would use ABest in the future and would recommend this tour.

It was a special day. Our driver/guide was Jobo and he was prompt. His knowledge of the area allowed to see more things in one day than we ever dreamed. I advise an early start because it is definitely a full day of memory making. I highly recommend this trip on your visit to this area.

Our Banff and Jasper trip was made even more incredible by Arnell, our amazing tour guide and driver. He let us determine the pace and was great at suggesting what to prioritize and what we could spend less time on. Consequently we moved at a relaxed pace AND still had jam packed days where we saw all the amazing sights. Manny is an exceptional tour guide! My husband and I had a wonderful day traveling the Icefield Parkway, going to the glacier, and stopping at beautiful spots like Mistaya Canyon and Peyto Lake. Also went to Bow Falls in Banff and ate a delicious steak house he recommended , The Keg. Manny goes above and beyond to make your trip memorable !!

Being in this trip felt like the host treated us as if we were family receiving the warmest host/accommodation. From day one, the welcoming smile, the attention to detail, the engagement and genuine desire for our group to have the best experience possible was the top priority. Going above and beyond was definitely exceeded during the trip. Every place is spectacular on its own, we enjoyed all sceneries. The only plan that was cancelled was the cruise at Maligne Lake because it was still frozen so I suggest to future travelers to go later in June if they like the cruise

Excellent tour with Jeff. Really enjoyed seeing all the sights and learning about different areas. He was very nice and took lots of photos of us so we have ones of us all in different locations. Would 100% recommend the private tour as even though it seems pricey it’s a 10-12hour day covering a lot of miles! So well worth it to miss the crowds.

Amazing trip with Jeff, we saw so much and he is brilliant at taking photos of us so we got ones will all three of us at each stop. Spectacular views. It is a long day as it’s a long way but so very worth it. The price for the private tour seemed a lot sat at home but once we got going it was 100% worth it to make our trip unique and go to the places we wanted to.
