Icefields Parkway Tour | Peyto, Bow Lake & Icefield Adventure

We took the Columbia Icefields tour with Vista Chase this fall and had such a memorable day. The golden aspens and snow-covered peaks were absolutely mesmerizing. We shared the trip with two other couples from the States and really enjoyed their company. Our guide, Rahul, kept us entertained throughout the journey and had so much knowledge to share about the places we visited. Our Ice Explorer and Skywalk tickets were arranged in advance, making those experiences easy and hassle-free. We’d definitely recommend Vista Chase, especially with Rahul as your guide!

Tushar made our day the best. He is fun, knowledgeable and a great photographer! It was a long day but with Tushar at the wheel it was worth every minute. This is a spectacular trip to take. We even did a couple of detours at his suggestion to take in some breath taking sights on the way back to Banff. Tushar is the Boss- so to speak- of drivers and guides! ❤️

Where to even start.... 1. If you can afford the private tour I HIGHLY recommend this. You have the opportunity to flex your schedule based on what you personally want to see and do or based on the guides recommendations. 2. Because of the flexibility we had, we not only went to Jasper but saw little nuggets that we didn't even know existed. Because we were not with a group, the day was ours to do what we wanted. 3. The guide, Rahul, he is the G.O.A.T!!! So personable, kind, respectful, and most important knowledgable. 4. Vehicle was newer, upgraded package, leather interior, very well kept. Clearly the company takes great care of their vehicles. 5. This tour was absolutely AMAZING!!! I could go on and on and on and still couldn't put into words how worth the money this Private Tour was. 6. Again, Rahul, our guide, we spent 3 full days with him and honestly we now consider him a friend. 7. Every person we encountered working for Vista Chase was so sincere and kind. This company truly cares about your experience and will ask how they can improve, is there anything we'd like to do different. So respectful of our experience. 8. Communication, Impecable!!! I received emails and direct contact information for our Guide and drivers as the company also offered free pick up and drop off from the Calgary Airport. 9. Punctual, always new ETA. They showed up ready to go, early and if there was a delay it was less than 5 minutes. I recommend HIGHLY!!!

Some of the most beautiful mountains, lakes, and waterfalls. Rahul is awesome, he is very knowledgeable, personable, and I would consider him more of a friend than a tour guide. I highly recommend Rahul and his team and would definitely like to explore more places with them again in the future.

Today was our second private tour with Rahul from Vista Chase. We went from Banff up to Jasper Icefields. The weather was interesting between rain and snow but it made for the perfect overlay to all the amazing places Rahul took us. The tour was majestic. Rahul came out with us at every stop, supplied historical info, was our own personal photographer, and brought lots of great laughs. Made us extremely comfortable!!! I highly suggest a private tour!!! I watched multiple buses, people herding out, times set, and people rushing. With our private tour with Vista Chase and Rahul, the day was ours to do whatever we wanted, spend as much time anywhere we wanted and it was worth every single dollar!!! Vehicles are top-notch. Clean and well-kept. You are truly missing a “gem” moment by not doing this. I know we saw things we never would have seen on a chartered tour.

Tushar was our guide for the day. He’s incredibly gifted and his knowledge of all the different lakes and wildlife was par excellence. He was patient to ensure we saw every thing we wanted to see along the way. The family had a great time. Thank you Tushar and Vista!

We spent 3 days ( Jasper IceFields and Parkway, Banff area and Lake Louise area) with Ankit from Vista Chase Tours. He was marvelous. Very personable and knowledgeable . We learned so much. He is also a very good Photagrapher and took many pictures of us surrounded by the beautiful nature. We had an itinerary set but we made changes on the fly that better addressed our desires each day. I certainly couldn’t imagine a better time spent in the area.

Ankit & Tushar are very knowledgeable about all the places we visited and were such wonderful tour guides! They were so comfortable and easy to be with, and very flexible with our time. We have Tushar and Angkit for our 3-day trip in Canada. We're a big group, 23 people including 8 kids and 6 seniors. At first, in booking, since it's a big group, we really don't know where to start, we just gave them the places we wanted to go, just Banff and the famous lakes. I asked for a recommendations, and they made a whole 3-day itinerary for us. first day, we thought they're gonna be strict but when we asked them if it's okay to make changes, they agreed in it! I love their flexibility and doesn't make us feel bad for changing plans. They are both very knowledgeable the whole trip! both about the informations about the places, trivias, animals, lakes and the places we went into. They knew where is the easiest trail and they are taking care of everybody and making sure kids are still in their sight. It feels like we're travelling with just a family friend! They really worked hard, even when we asked in Jasper town which is like 6 hours away from our accommodation. We started in 5am and got home at 2am the next day. They still made us feel like we're not a burden. We will surely miss our guys! Thank you is not enough for all this... appreciate you guys so much! It is truly unforgettable experience for all of us!! P.S They are the BEST photographers too!!

Ankit and Ak (aka: tushar) was absolutely wonderful and made my experience the best!! From the very beginning they were so kind, welcoming, patient and genuinely caring. They always made sure safety is absolutely first! THEY MADE SURE that we felt comfortable and made the ENTIRE TRIP VERYY ENJOYABLE AND MEMORABLE!! Ankit and Ak (tushar) both are the sweetest thing ever, always arrived early on time, stopped for breaks, played our songs and always provided/care for our safety!! THEY ARE BOTH REALLY FUNNY!! They absolutely made everyone’s experience enjoyable so much that I don’t want to leave at all!!! They were both very knowledgeable about the places we visited, shared interesting and important historical stories and facts about the places. I did a 3 day tour with my family and friends, we had so much fun!! throught the 3 days, we went to all the famous lakes, jasper, and banff. our drivers, Tushar, and Ankit were super friendly, and nice. They were always on time for pick up in the morning, and gave us enough time for all the stops. They were really funny and allowed us to even give them funny nicknames. Thank you A & AK!

We had an amazing day on the Banff, Jasper and Columbia Icefield Parkway tour! Our guide, Tushar, was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience enjoyable. He was patient, answered all our questions, and made sure everyone was comfortable throughout the trip including my mom who had limited mobility . We never felt rushed and got to enjoy the stunning scenery at each stop. He went above and beyond and we had Great experience on all days of the Banff, Jasper trips with him. AK was our tour guide for 2 days for my family of 9. The shuttle pick up was on time , the shuttle was very spacious, clean and comfortable . AK was very knowledgeable , he provided some history of the attractions that we were visiting . He was also friendly especially to my two teens, he treated them like his own sisters . He was accommodating to the needs of my family. Overall , the process we paid for the 2 days tour was very reasonable, we had the very best experience exploring most of the iconic places in Banff! I highly recommend Chase Vista Tours if you’re a big family planning to visit and explore Banff.

This was an excellent and fascinating day. Our Vista Chase guide, Matilda, was first rate - informative, sociable and dedicated to making the entire experience as good and enjoyable as possible. We saw and learned a vast amount and came away looking forward to our second day!

We had a fun time and got to see 3 bears which was a huge highlight!

Our group booked our airport transfers and 3 full days of private tour and a trip to Calgary with Vista Chase. Best decision we ever made. Vishal was our tour guide for the entire trip. We traveled in comfort and ease. Vishal made sure our trip was customized to our must see and do. So much to do and see and we hope to return again soon. When we do we will surely avail of Vishal’s services again.

We had the best time with Vishal on our tour! He was so kind, knowledgeable and helpful at each stop, giving us plenty of time and answering our questions. He also took some great photos of us and showed us some tips on how to get better photos. We also lucked out with a perfect weather day! It’s a lot of driving but we knew that. Thanks to Vishal! We also booked the Columbia Icefield and skywalk tour separately as it is noted to do in this tour. I’d just recommend the icefield part, not the skywalk.

Loved this trip! Rahul was the best tour guide, gave us plenty of time at each stop, made sure we were having a good time. Very knowledgeable about the area. Comfortable vehicle for the 6 of us. He went over and above to make sure we had a great trip.

We loved our full day tour to Jasper with Rahul! He was very professional, kind and knowledgeable. Took us to some amazing places and made the most of our experience. Was a bit disappointed with the ice field/skywalk but that was not on him, we chose to go there as an add on to the Jasper trip.

We spent a perfect day with a perfect tour guide! Naveen was knowledgeable, personable, and accommodating. We visited Jasper and saw stunning lakes, waterfalls, mountains, and glaciers. Naveen shared a wealth of information about the stops along the Icefields Parkway. He made extra stops so that we could view area wildlife. He provided us with ample opportunities for photos, and took lots of still shots and videos of the two of us. The sights were jaw-dropping, but were further enhanced by Naveen's commentary. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Excellent tour of Jasper, Bow lake, Peyto lake, waterfalls, etc. Rahul was awesome and took as many pictures as we wanted and knew where and how to take the best pictures. I would only book tours with Vista Chase and will recommend to all my friends... Cadillac Escalade was also a great way to see the sights. Tour was completely customizable. We also saw a bear and got to take awesome pictures.

We had a wonderful experience exploring Jasper, the Athabasca Glacier, and Banff, all thanks to our amazing tour guide, Rahul. From the moment the tour began, Rahul's professionalism, warmth, and deep knowledge of the area made the entire journey seamless and enriching. Our family enjoyed the Jasper tour with Vista Chase. The drive offered the most amazing views. Bow Lake was awesome particularly with the icy cold ice candles. An unplanned stop at Herbert Lake revealed striking mountain reflections. We also sighted 3 black bears during the course of the day. The Athabasca Ice Glacier and Skywalk additional option is best avoided; it's a tourist trap. Not worth the 2.5 hours time investment when there’s better sights to see.

I just want to say that Raoul exceeded our expectations. We saw so many places and he was always looking to make sure we were happy. We saw so much wildlife including The Boss. The vehicle was so comfortable and made the travel time much more enjoyable. Thanks again for an incredible experience.

We had such a fantastic time, we booked an additional seeing other parts of Alberta and British Columbia. We loved creating our own tour with the help of Rahul. The only thing that would have completed the journey was accessible WiFi for us

This was day two of our trip with Rahul. Highly recommend this trip and him as your guide. He made it very special for us and walked us through every thing. We made several stops on our drive to the icefield at different rivers and waterfalls. This entire area of Canada is magical and booking with Vista Chase was an amazing experience, I would take these tours over again in a heart beat. Do not hesitate and book now, and request Rahul, you won't regret it.

Naveen was really knowledgeable of the area and easy to travel with. The tour is designed to be flexible to what you wish to see and do and Naveen went out of his way to make sure that I was able to do everything I wished to do. I was lucky enough to see bears and many nice lakes, canyons and waterfalls around Jasper and would definitely recommend this tour to all travelers.

The trip to Jasper was amazing. We were able to get some breathtaking views. We visited many places like Herbert lake, Athabasca lakes, Maligne Lake, Maligne Caniyon, Sunwapta falls, Medicine lake and some additional view points on the way. Rahul has been very polite and awesome throughout the journey explaining the importance of each and every place which has been the wonderful part of this journey. We enjoyed this travel a lot and would recommend this to others as well.
