We were picked up at the train station in a 10-15 person van, which is nice (not so crowded). The scenery is beautiful and the water is blue (or blue green), but our tour guide was the icing on the cake. While most drivers we saw just drove the van and dropped the passengers like kids going to school, Abdul with ABestX.ca was awesome. He went with the group, showed us the best places for photos and took many pictures of people in the group. It was Abdul's care and attention that made some of our best photos possible, and my wife is all about the photos. I would highly recommend this tour with Abdul as a guide.

No snacks and very little choice for foods. To get the full experience you do a lot of walking but it is well worth it

Our driver/guide Abdul was great. He gave us tips on best photo ops, which quick trails to hike and even gave a little time to tour Banff for first time travelers and out of towers that might not be back for a while. Very knowledgeable on surrounding areas and gave us advice on where to go see on our off day of travel. We would highly recommend!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The scenery was amazing and the lakes were breathtaking. Being late in the year, the crowds were smaller we were told, but still quite busy. I highly recommend experiencing the sights.

This was a great trip. We had a great guide (Luis). Highly recommend, as he was knowledgeable, friendly and organized. Loved our trip. It was on my bucket list and it was everything and more!!

Kulvinber, was great, good driver and patient. Great experience. Loved Emerald Lake, Johnson Canyon and Lake Louise. Weather wasn't great as we had a lot of rain. Still great experience.

What a fabulous trip! The scenery was incredible and the weather cooperated fully. Our driver, Abdul. was fantastic. He was an excellent driver and very personable. He provided great information about where to go as well as being very clear about the amount of time we had at each stop. My husband has a health condition that makes walking a challenge at times, and I was particularly impressed that Abdul was very concerned about my husband walking up the path at Moraine Lake. It was a great day.

We really enjoyed the tour, Neil, was very kind and attentive to our needs. It was hard for us to understand what he was saying. The microphone was not loud enough. He was very knologeble and interesting. We learned lots of new things about the region and we saw lots of very beautiful places.

Was disappointed with the tour. Driver was 15 min late. Did not talk on way to lakes. Very brief descriptions at beginning and end of each drive. Wished we had taken a general shuttle.

Excellent tour! Well worth the money and allowed us a relaxed visit to lake Louise, Moraine Lake and Banff. Our tour guide/Bus driver was excellent, knowledgeable, educational and entertaining. However he was a bit hard to understand because English was his second language and he had a strong accent. The seats on the mini bus were a bit tight. But I would definitely recommend this tour!

Abdu made our trip truly special. He wasn’t just a driver—he made us feel welcomed, comfortable, and cared for throughout the entire journey. He was patient, kind, knowledgeable, and always made sure we didn’t miss the beautiful moments. His positive energy and warm personality made the day even more enjoyable. We came for the breathtaking views, but Abdu was definitely one of the best parts of our experience. Thank you, Abdu, for making our family trip so memorable!!

We had a great experience on this trip. Our driver and tour guide, Abdul, arrived on time, provided us with lots of valuable advice, and planned the trip with a very reasonable schedule. My mom needed to use a small wheelchair, and Abdul was extremely helpful in making sure she was comfortable and that we enjoyed the trip to the fullest. The tour vehicle was clean and comfortable. Highly recommended!

They book/fill the passenger seat up front with the driver and the jump seat in front of the sliding side door.

This tour was NOT GOOD! The inclusions said: Driver / Guide  Nope! He drove and that's it, barely spoke English, didn't check anyone in with a list or look at our tickets or mobile reservations. He never spoke a word during the tour. Didn't tell us where to go, what to look at - NOTHING!  4 John's Bus was DIRTY. Windows were DIRTY. Garbage left from a previous tour was still on the floor, plastic bottles rolling around. I was at the first pick up and was on the bus first and saw this with my own eyes. GROSS! Driver was LATE and HE (Abdul) went to the wrong location! He called me and said he was in front of the hotel and where was I - when pick up was in the parking lot BEHIND the hotel per the instructions.  Tour said 30 minutes Banff - NOPE! Just picked up more people at the train station. Moraine Lake was supposed to be 1 hour 30 minutes. We were told to be back on the bus 45 minutes to one hour later. Lake Louise we got the full 1 hour 30 minutes, only because everyone was angry that we didn't get the time we paid for at the first stop. BIG MISREPRESENTATION OF A GOOD TOUR. TERRIBLE!!!

Do not book. Selected a tour at 8:10am to accommodate our schedule for the day. Afternoon before the tour we are called and told that we were the only scheduled guests and the tour was cancelled. Stated they would book us at a later time. When told that later would not work we were told we would get a refund. After talking to booking agent and calling back twice we recieved no refund and we had to put a dispute claim on the AMEX charge. Very unprofessional.

We had a really good time. If there’s one advice I can give to prospective clients, know that it will take you pretty much all day if starting and ending in Calgary. The description is not clear. So basically, most of their mini buses starts in Calgary (base) and that’s why they’re able to pick customers like us from here. Then they congregate in Banff where you may or may not have to change buses (they will let you know). We bought the two lakes (Louise and Moraine) where we spent 1.5 hours on each places. They provided a good transportation and water and friendly drivers and a recorded short information about the places. Then you have free time to explore the lakes. Upon booking I could choose 6 or 7.30 pick up . We picked latter. Our tickets said we will finish at 13.30 ish which was great. However we didn’t get back to Calgary till around 5pm. Mel our driver asked if we wanted to be dropped back at downtown or somewhere else. We told him where we’re staying and he was happy to drop us there as it was close to the company garage and saves time going into City traffic. We had a really nice time and the drop off saved us time also. So perhaps the company needs to make this clear. Imagine if we had planned something afterwards? Or worse if someone is catching a flight?

We had the greatest tour guide and he even took us up the route that we asked him about. He was so fun and full of great information.

Given the lack of parking, taking a tour shuttle to see both lakes is ideal. Our guide/driver, Jam, was friendly, helpful and informative. The trip was very enjoyable and the lakes are breathtaking.

Great tour with Kulvinder. Super chill vibe, amazing views, and totally worth it. We really had a fun day exploring the lakes.

Firstly. Although it states full refund in case of cancellation, when I had to cancel one person they would only issue a partial refund. This was no where stated on their site. Secondly, they cancelled our trip with less than 24 hours notice and it was only because I called them that I knew. They gave us an alternative time and then cancelled that as well. Finally offered a refund. We had to book a last minute trip with another company. The new company accommodated us on short notice and gave us great service. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone. Save yourself the stress of cancelling plans and scrambling to make other arrangements.

Great day. The lakes were spectacular. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable.

We were pleased to have chosen to access Lake Louise and Moraine Lake through a shuttle service to avoid having to navigate by car. We had an unforeseen delay of one hour (for some unknown reason) in Banff on our way to the lakes. We made the most of it by walking around town. On the way back, we were for some reason poised to endure a 30 minute delay again in Banff, but spoke up so that the trip carried on without a stopover. Air conditioning on board was on too high, which was uncomfortable. Driver was friendly and timely in departure from the lakes.

The itinerary showed they will start and stop at banff avenue then lake louise but they did completely opposite started with lake moraine and the bathroom was really bad at lake moraine. The driver was nice though.

Overall an enjoyable trip as the locations visited are amazing.. only reason for the lower rating is that the trip wasn't fully as described so we didn't have the full time in each place. The driver was friendly but could have added some personal touches with more information on the places we were visiting

The departure time was changed from 8:10 to 9:10, was received the day before via email. However, the email received on the day sent at 12:05 am said departure time is still 8:10. We were rushed to the pickup location before 8am, waiting while contacting customer service, no body answer the phone. Finally got email telling the time was 9:10. I think the conflict information is because the internal communication problem. Otherwise the trip went well.

Exactly what we wanted and needed! Got picked up from the Banff train station, had some time at Lake Louise, had some time at Moraine Lake, and got dropped off! Our driver Raj was helpful and friendly!

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful experience on this tour. We were very fortunate with the weather, atmosphere, and our driver made the journey even more enjoyable by kindly explaining each destination, recommending the best photo spots, and even taking photos for us. For less than CAD 200 for two people, visiting Lake Louise, Moraine Lake, and Banff was an efficient and excellent-value option. In our opinion, it was much more convenient than arranging the entire trip independently by bus. Before the tour, we expected the driver’s role to be limited mainly to transportation. However, our driver went far beyond that expectation. He explained the places we visited, clearly told us why and where we were stopping, and helped us make the most of our time at each destination. This personal attention was one of the greatest strengths of the tour. Travellers need to communicate clearly with the driver and confirm their itinerary. Several shuttle companies and vans operate from similar pickup areas, so the exact starting point may initially feel unclear. Although the document stated that the pickup point was across from the bus stop, there were many Banff-bound vans lined up in the area. Fortunately, our driver actively looked for us and made sure that we did not miss the departure. It is also important to double-check the scheduled itinerary. We had booked a tour that included Lake Louise, Moraine Lake, and approximately one hour in Banff. it was little bit crowded. but everything was good. When we arrived in Banff, some passengers from a different package got off, and the van initially appeared ready to return directly to Calgary. This caused some confusion. Another passenger had also experienced an unexpected schedule change and seemed not to have received clear notice that part of her original itinerary had been cancelled. It is important to understand that the drivers are mainly responsible for transporting and coordinating passengers from several different tour packages. They may not personally control all scheduling decisions made by the company. Nevertheless, our driver and his colleague handled the situation professionally. They discussed the available options, offered the other passenger a better alternative, and also gave us additional time to enjoy Banff. On the return journey, they were even kind enough to drop us off near our home in Calgary, which made the end of the trip much more convenient. Throughout the entire journey, we felt comfortable and safe. Unexpected situations can happen during any trip because of weather, traffic, or schedule changes. However, our experience showed that communicating calmly with these drivers can make a significant difference. They genuinely tried to help every passenger enjoy their limited and valuable travel time. We would gladly take this tour again with our family. Our main driver’s initials were R.S. We did not catch the name of his colleague, but both of them were very very friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. Thanks to these two wonderful gentlemen, we returned home with many precious memories. We sincerely hope to meet them again on a future tour.

This trip was definitely worth the money we paid. Manny was our driver and he was a great host. He was able to adjust the tour based on the weather conditions. It was easy to adjust because we were a small group. The places and sites we visited were worth the drive.

I recently joined the Shared Tour: Emerald Lake, Lake Louise & Moraine Lake from Calgary with ABestX, and it was terrific. From start to finish, everything was well-organized and thoughtfully executed. 🚐 The vehicle was spacious and comfortable, making the journey smooth and enjoyable. 🧑‍🏫 Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating insights about each location and answering all our questions with enthusiasm. ⏰ Time management was spot-on—we had ample time at each stop without feeling rushed. 💧 They even provided drinking water, which was a nice touch. 📸 We made scenic stopovers in Banff city and at the stunning Natural Bridge, perfect for capturing memorable photos. The beauty of Emerald Lake, Lake Louise, and Moraine Lake is beyond words, and this tour made it all the more special. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore the Canadian Rockies with ease and comfort!

The tour itself was fine and fairly straightforward, taking us to the advertised locations as expected. However, we had issues with the pick up. We booked a tour for 7:30 AM with a pickup in Banff. Two days before, we received a call informing us that the tour was actually at 9:00 AM since the the 7:30 AM departure was only for those leaving from Calgary, which was not clearly indicated at the time of booking. This last-minute change disrupted our plans for the day, but we decided to proceed. We arrived at the Banff pickup point at 8:45 AM but were only picked up at 9:30 AM, 30 minutes later than the updated time we had been given. During this wait, we spent about 30 minutes trying to reach the tour organizer, fearing we had been forgotten. We even contacted Viator, who also attempted to get in touch with the operator multiple times. No one ever picked up or returned the messages we left. The bus finally showed up just as we were about to leave, which unfortunately gave the whole experience a poor start. Additionally, the sprinter van was very small and cramped, which made the journey less comfortable than expected. Otherwise, the tour is a great way to visit popular destinations without the hassle of driving or parking. The bus driver was kind and professional, and I don’t believe the late pick-up was his fault. It seemed he was simply following instructions to pick us up at 9:30 AM.

This was an excellent way to see all three lakes. No waiting time, parked close to each lake. No hassle looking for parking in a crowded lot. One hour at each lake was more than enough time.

It was an extremely impressive experience. The landscape is beautiful. Many thanks to our extremely helpful and friendly driver Kulwinder, who provided us with many interesting pieces of information.
