Our guide, Mario, made the day an absolute blast! Beautiful sights, tons of historical context, and great food made this trip a joy!

The whole day was fantastic. Mario was very welcoming and friendly and really took the group under his wing. He outlined the day’s activities so everyone was clear about what we were doing and he shared so much local knowledge throughout the day. He also told us about the trails/paths to take to get the best views and happily volunteered to be the official photographer for the day. Mario also had lots of recommendations for lunch in Banff that were greatly appreciated. Last but not least, the playlist during the drive was top notch! The playlist was varied so there was something for everyone. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone (whether you’re travelling with friends/family or on your own) wanting a taste of what the Rocky Mountains has to offer. The attention to detail in the trip planning, the communication about itinerary changes, and the kindness shown by the Rocky Mountain Trips team cannot be beaten.

Our guide Super Mario was in fact SUPER! He had a tricky day as there were weather warnings which threatened our chance to see Morraine Lake but Mario altered the itinerary and explained exactly what was happening and why he was making the changes he was. As a result, we got to see everything on the itinerary. He was so helpful and offered to take photos at every stop. He was armed with facts and a brilliant roadtrip setlist 🎵 10000000% recommend!

Loved this tour! It’s a small, family-owned company and you can really feel the personal touch. Everything ran right on time and completely stress-free. The guide Luís had a great balance: he kept things fun and entertaining, but also gave us plenty of downtime to soak in the views. He also pointed out the best photo spots and offered to be our photographer. Highly recommend!

Mario was an amazing tour guide. He gave us an amazing tour with lots of history of the area. He took pictures of every one of our stops! He advised us on changing our itinerary during our stay due to weather. He also advised us on where to eat locally!! Mario was top notch!

Tito was an absolutely amazing tour guide! He truly went above and beyond for our entire group. He was incredibly knowledgeable, funny, and shared so many awesome facts about Banff along the way. We even got to do a great little hike with him. To top it off, he made an extra stop for us that wasn't even on the itinerary—just one of the many reasons he goes above and beyond. I’d 100% recommend Tito to anyone visiting, and I’ll definitely be booking with him again next year!

If you are thinking twice about booking this, please don't! Book it NOW! We had 4 couples in our party and we all had such an AMAZING time. Angel and Super Mario were both extremely fun and knowledgable guides! We learned so much from them! Not if, but when we return, we will definitely rebook with them! Our guide Super Mario was definitely the highlight of the entire tour!

Tito, our tour guide was really great and provided us with excellent background information for each stop. He went out of his way to take photos of us if needed. It is a family operation and we even got to meet his Dad. We will definitely use this company again for any future trips to Banff National Park.

Had an amazing day with Angel yesterday. He was very knowledgeable and knew all the best spots for pictures. We had plenty of time at each spot to explore and didn't feel rushed at all. He is such a calm driver with an excellent music playlist. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone. Thanks for such a memorable day 💕 Couple of tips; wear some layers and don't forget your raincoat (even if weather in the city is fine), although you can borrow an umbrella which was greatly appreciated 🫶🏻

Luis was a wonderful, entertaining guide. We learned so much about the area. Luis helped us get to sites that were less crowded so we could get better pictures. TripAdvisor marketed this as a max 12 person tour but there were 24 on our bus. I don't think it detracted from our experience though.

This day trip to Lake Louise, Moraine Lake, and Banff was absolutely fantastic, and so much of that was thanks to our amazing guide, Luis! He was exceptionally personable, warm, helpful, and incredibly knowledgeable about the area. From start to finish, FIVE STARS! Luis shared interesting stories and information, answered all our questions, helped the group make the most of every stop, and made the whole day feel effortless and fun. His enthusiasm and genuine passion for the Rockies really made the trip special. The scenery was breathtaking, and we spent a perfect amount of time at each stop. I couldn’t have asked for a better day trip, and would highly, highly recommend this guide to anyone visiting the area and looking for a jam packed (but perfectly paced, unrushed) day of highlights!

Had a 5 star experience with Rocky Mountain trips this week. Luis was our driver and guide and he really made the experience enjoyable. Pick up was easy and for the next 6 hours Luis explained where we were going, took really good photos of us, led us on some short hikes, gave us lunch suggestions for downtown Banff, and lots more. This tour is a fantastic way to experience Banff National Park. Only tour companies can drive to Lake Moraine and i would have hated to miss this amazing lake if we tried to drive there ourselves. Can’t say enough good things about Luis and Rocky Mountain trips. This is the perfect tour for a well rounded visit. It was our favorite day for the time we spent in Banff.

It was a packed 12-hour day! Luis picked us up in comfortable small bus (25) with phone chargingoutlets at Coast Calgary Downtown. All itinerary stops were as stated. Bathroom stops as well. There was time for both lunch & shopping in Banff Town. Five star experience.

Angel was an amazing tour guide! He was super friendly, welcoming, and made the whole Banff experience even better. He was very knowledgeable about the area and gave us plenty of information throughout the tour without making it feel boring or rushed. Luis was a top class guide, giving fantastic advice on how best to spend our time and avoid crowds, really knowledgeable and friendly. The generous 2hr time slot allocated to free time in Banff was really nice. The other stops were all well timed, they didn’t feel rushed, and we got back to Calgary at a decent time. Bus was modern and comfortable and good temperature. Thank you Luis!

Run by a local family this was a fantastic day out. We learned so much from Louis who went above and beyond to make this experience so enjoyable. Not sure why we didn’t get to Johnson’s Canyon as per viators itinerary but we loved every minute of the day. Use this family run business. You won’t be disappointed
