Beautiful vacation place! It’s been ten years since we were last there and it has changed. It’s gotten too well known and too crowded. That said, you need to get up early and you need to book events at least a week or two in advance or they fill up. In fact, maybe three weeks ahead.

An amazing tour! Our driver was outstanding! We were able to visit and spend time at the lakes and other attractions. The time spent at each stop was completely up to us, which was very nice! He recommended some incredible hikes that we wouldn’t have known about. He was able to take some great family photos as well!

We booked a private tour with Abest to visit Lake Louise, Moraine Lake, and the other stunning lakes around Banff — and we couldn’t be happier with the experience! Traveling as a family of 9, including my brother and his 1-year-old baby, having a private tour made everything so much more convenient and comfortable for us. The booking process through Facebook Messenger was quick and efficient. Once we finalized our date, their reservations team sent a secure payment link via email for the 50% downpayment. The remaining balance was due 7 days before the tour — everything was smooth and seamless from start to finish. On the day of our tour, our driver and guide, Kuya Manny, arrived on time right at the front of our hotel. We were so lucky to have him as our guide! He was not only professional and patient, but also incredibly knowledgeable about all the places we visited and the Banff National Park and Banff in general. You could really tell that he genuinely cared about making sure we had a great time. One unexpected bonus — his photography skills! He patiently took beautiful photos of our family at every stop. He knew the best photo spots in each area. He even gave us great local tips for our self-drive itinerary the following day — like going to Bow Lake early in the morning and parking near the red lodge to get the best views. (Please tell him we truly appreciated this advice!) It was a truly amazing experience from start to end, and we’re incredibly grateful to Abest and Kuya Manny for making our trip so memorable!❤️

We booked a private tour since you can not access Lake Morraine otherwise. While you can use the roam transit bus - it is tough to get a scheduled ticket.

Augusto was our tour guide and he picked us up right on time from our hotel in the morning. We were hoping to get to see Lake Moraine but unfortunately it was closed for the season. To make up for it, in addition to Lake Louise, Augusto recommended we go to Peyto Lake and Lake Emerald instead. These were amazing recommendations! Peyto Lake was breathtaking and we were able to see it from the lookout point! Emerald Lake was also a spectacular view! Most importantly, I told Abest and Augusto that I was planning to propose to my partner during the tour. I originally planned to do it at Lake Louise, but since Augusto’s recommendation of Peyto lake looked so beautiful, I told him I would do it there instead. He took me and my fiancé to a secluded spot underneath the main walkway with complete privacy and an unobstructed view of the lake. It was PERFECT. Thank you so much Augusto and Abest for making our special day unforgettable!!

This was our second private day trip booked during our 7 day Calgary stay. I highly recommend ABest and our driver, Augusto. Despite our original vehicle having mechanical issues and requiring a switch-causing delay (which pushed everything later into the evening). Because of this, we decided to scrap getting out at Banff town, in favor of returning to Calgary. It takes an exceptional driver to smooth a rough start over & make it a great 5-star day.

Manny the tour guide was awesome! He was friendly, helpful and gave us a lot of great information about Banff and Lake Louise.

We booked a private tour so we paid big bucks for a personalized experience. The company did not deliver. Though the guide was nice he was simply a driver. We felt the company failed in training him compared to other private tours we’ve taken (we do not blame him). He offered no background or history about what we saw. We even had to call the company at Johnston’s Canyon to find out what falls we had time to visit and how long we should spend because he was unsure. He just dropped us off and said he’d come back in 20 minutes to get us. Hard getting cell coverage in a forest! Turns out it took us an hour and a half to complete the hike. I booked this company because other reviews were glowing, but we definitely did not get our money’s worth on this one. Most of the drive was awkward silence. If you charge us top dollar for a private experience it should be stress free for us. Please don’t give us substitute drivers who are not familiar with the area. Your private tours should get the best guides in my opinion, not the alternate guides. Also, the front windshield in the van had a huge crack through it which made it hard to see out the front of the van.

We had such a wonderful day! Augusto was our driver/guide and he was amazing! He helped make this day so memorable for us and we are so grateful for that! Would highly recommend this private day tour! You see so much in one day and don’t have to stress about the parking in the high tourist areas. On the plus side, we saw all the sights we expected to see and the tour was tailored for us. Manny knew all the great spots for photo ops. The vehicle was very comfortable. However, while Manny is a great driver he is not a tour guide. He occasionally played some pre-recorded descriptions of the area that were hard for all to hear. If and when he added his own knowledge (which was not often) only the 1 or 2 in the party standing right beside him could hear him. We have been on many tours and guides are usually a fountain of information and stories. Not so with Manny - very quiet and a man of few words. We did not feel we got our money's worth.

We booked the private tour for our family of 7. We were able to create the itinerary ourselves. The bus was very comfortable and our driver Johnathon was so accommodating. We spotted bears crossing the road and moose 2 animals we were yet to spot all done on one of our last days. Totally recommend this company

The entire trip was excellent. Manny was a wonderful guide and ensured we saw more than we anticipated. I'd recommend Manny to anyone looking for a personable, fantastic guide who knows the area well.

Our driver was very safe on a snowy/icy day. He did not hurry us at any time. But he was very quiet. He didn't seem to be enthusiastic about the beautiful Canadian Rockies. We went on a tour with a different company the following day, and the guide made it a much more unforgettable experience.

Wonderful tour with top notch service. Arnel is awesome and showed us so many places and took tons of photographs for us as well. This is easily the best way to see multiple sites in one day, skipping the crowds and having a wonderful time!

We only had 24 hours in Banff and Aljay went above and beyond to make it possible to see everything (including extending the tour by several hours!). Aljay is an excellent guide with endless energy and is also an excellent photographer – he captured many amazing photos of the group against some truly breathtaking scenery and knew all of the secret spots to take pictures without tourists in the background. We had a great time and a lot of laughs with him along the way. I can't recommend him and this tour highly enough!

We had the best experience with Jeff our tour guide. Jeff picked us up at 8AM and dropped us back at our timeshare at 7:30PM. We had been in Banff for two days and had seen some things already so he customized our tour to concentrate on the best things to see. Jeff took a lot of pictures of us at all our stops. My wife joked that we didn’t have that many pictures taken of us at our wedding! LOL Our kids gave us this tour as a Fathers and Mother’s Day present to have a special experience while on our bucket list trip to Banff, Jasper and the surrounding areas. This was a tour and a vacation I would highly recommend to anyone that wants to see God’s nature creation.

I booked a private driver for my Wife's 40th Birthday to visit some of the stunning lakes around Banff. Ali was our driver and was an amazing guide who took us to the best Banff had to offer and we were not disappointed. I would highly recommend the experience, especially if you want access to the best lakes, beating the crowds and seeing the stunning sites of Banff.

The trip was amazing! Our driver, Manny, was so nice, helpful and informative. He also helped us with our picture taking skills. He was flexible and we were able to see everything we wanted and more! He was also considerate of my mom’s mobility issues, which was much appreciated. The van we travelled in was extremely comfortable and the views!

I booked a last minute private tour to Banff from Calgary & had Jobo as my driver/guide. It was pricey, but worth it! Jobo knew when the busloads of tourists would arrive & we always arrived/left before they did so I didn't have to deal with large crowds. He played great music in the car, was my photographer when needed, tailored the day to my needs & watched out for wildlife when I closed my eyes so he could alert me to sightings on the drive. He was friendly & engaging, but quiet when I wanted to rest. I thoroughly enjoyed my private tour & highly recommend.

Manny was awesome! Knowledgeable - accommodating, the list could go on and on. I was hesitant booking a private tour at first - but will say this was the best part of our vacation north of the border. Manny went out of his way to fill our day with stops - sightseeing locations that we would have never experienced on our own. This was not a stop, get out, snap a picture, and get back in tour. We got to take the time we wanted at each stop...and had some additional stops added in based on what sites we were enjoying the most. Unbelievable full day experience with a great host/guide! A full day trip from Calgary to Peyto lake, Lake Louise and Banff Gondola. Gabriel was enthusiastic and fun to chat with while we drove to the mountains. He was knowledgeable of the area and its history to use the time efficiently. He is careful to make sure everyone is going at a pace they could handle on a couple of short paths uphill to great views. Banff Gondola was a nice experience as well as a stop at Lake Louise. We recommend Gabriel for small groups that want a local to show them the area.

My wife and I booked a private tour in lieu of trying to navigate Banff and Lake Louise on our own. This turned out to be an outstanding choice. Jobo met us at our hotel at 8 o'clock sharp and from there we spent the entire day seeing the wonders of the nearby mountains. We saw more in one day than I could have managed in three days, all without being rushed at all. It pays to have someone who is intimately familiar with the area as your guide. Although the information on the signage was more than sufficient, Jobo provided additional color regarding each of the stops. Jobo was very friendly, courteous, and it was an absolute pleasure to be in his company. The vehicle was very clean, stocked with ample water, and very well-maintained. I highly recommend ABest Transport and Tour Services Inc, and their “rider driven” philosophy, which Jobo exemplified. The next time that we are on holiday in Calgary, we know who we will contact for a tour.

I was looking for a tour to do while my partner and I were in Canmore. We really wanted to see Lake Louise & Moraine Lake, but I kept reading horror stories of parking and the possibility of not seeing them at all if you couldn’t get a parking spot or a spot on the shuttles. In my research, I found this tour and the reviews sold me. Can I just say WOW. Our tour guide was Arnel & he was AMAZING. He promptly picked us up from our Airbnb in Canmore and took us EVERYWHERE - places I wouldn’t have even known to go to on my own. Arnel assured us we could go at our own pace, and spend as much time at each spot as we liked. We never felt rushed, and Arnel knew so much about the area - we learnt so much! Arnel is also an amazing photographer! He always offered to take our photos (which look fantastic) and carry our jackets and bags as we looked around - he was just absolutely wonderful. This was honestly the best tour I have ever been on. I felt like we saw 90% of Alberta that day and it was such a memorable experience. We had so much fun and I 110% recommend this company. If you want a stress free day where you will see all the sights, have a fantastic time & not have to worry about parking and beating the crowds, this is the tour! Thank you Arnel!

Ali was our tour guide. And he picked us from the hotel in Calgary and we started the tour. The tour was exceptional and accommodating to the fullest. We were able to spend more time were we really wanted too. Ali provided us the history behind and we also saw wildlife. The van used for the trip was super clean and waters were provided. This tour met and exceeded all of our expectation. Thank you for an amazing experience and I would definitely do the tour again and also recommend this tour to everyone.

Manny exceeded our expectations. We were nervous about the comparative expensive of this *private* tour vs other packed-in-a-bus tours, but it was more than worth it. Manny was wonderful. Flexible, totally accommodating of our small party that ranged in age from 4 to 66. Lake Louise was beautiful but bustling with tourists, so we cut out pretty quickly and went canoeing on Lake Moraine. We hit all the spots around Banff; felt like we packed 3 days of touring into one day. (And we probably did, given that Manny's Mercedes van just cuts to the front of every parking line and has a reserved spot everywhere we went). He takes great photos too. At the end of the day, he took us to the gondola at Sulfur mountain right by our hotel, got us discounted tickets, and genuinely wanted to wait for us 90 minutes to drive us 100 meters to our hotel so our daughter wouldn't be cold. We convinced him to call it a day but our whole party was overjoyed at the experience and we couldn't have asked for a better guide or experience in Banff. Thanks Manny.

In July 2022,I did the Banff and Edmonton tour with Abest and would highly recommend the company. The driver/tour guide Manny was extremely knowledgeable knowing the history of the sites. Also he demonstrated flexibility to ensure we had sufficient opportunities to enjoy each site. Their comfortable buses are modern and equipped with air conditioned and have electronic charging capabilities..

This tour is one of the main highlights of my Canadian trip.My guide Ali was very knowledgeable about the area,easy going and full of professionalism.He also took so many great photos of me.Covered all the main attraction and really enjoyed the friendly company.Would love to do another tour once I'm Back next.

The driver Arnel was excellent He knew all the places very well. We all had an amazing time. Banff is just so beautiful. All the lakes were amazing beautiful blue water. Would definitely recommend this tour.

It was amazing to have a private tour! We were able to have our own experience and go at our own pace. Our tour guide, Joey, was amazing! He took us to every stop on the agenda. We wanted to see wildlife which is hit or miss. But, he said he'd try and that the wildlife tends to come out at night. Well, we were able to catch deer/fawns in the morning and mountain goats/kids in the evening; all within a few feet away. He delivered on every promise. He gave great recommendations for sights in Calgary and restaurants in Banff. He took photos of us that really captured the moment. The picturesque views and experiences are ones we'll cherish forever. It was my husband's 50th birthday present from me, and it was the best vacation and tour we've evern taken. Well done!

The majestic mountains were awesome. Jobo our driver was informative, courteous, and extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

Before heading to Calgary, we spent a significant amount of time trying to figure out how to get to and from Banff, where to stay, how to see the various highlights, etc. We ended up booking a one-day private tour with ABest which turned out to be the most practical way to get a lot of sightseeing done without worrying about mapping out the route or competing with other tourists for parking spots. Our tour guide Manny couldn't have been more friendly, knowledgeable and patient with our group of 12. He took tailored our tour to our needs and interests and provided us with ample opportunity and time to take pictures of scenery, selfies and group pictures. All in all, even though there is always a lot more to see and do, the decision to take a private tour was a good one for our group (ranging in ages 6 to 70) and fit in nicely with out financial and time limitations. Next visit to the Calgary area we will likely take the same tour but will focus on destinations that we weren't able to hit the first time. Thank you ABest and especially Manny for a memorable day.
