So happy I signed up for this. The beer alone made it worthwhile, but Caitlyn's insights and personality just made the afternoon. Diolch yn fawr.

Caitlin is truly a wonderful human, very personable and a such a wealth of knowledge! 10/10 recommend!
We had a great time on the Calgary Street Art & Craft Beer Tasting Tour. Our guide Mike was hugely knowledgeable & made the tour so interesting & entertaining. He gave us plenty of time time to ask questions & chat about what we saw. & the two craft beer tasting stops were great fun, & the pubs & beers were excellent. Highly recommend!
Our friendly guide Mike really made this an enjoyable and informative tour around the street art and beer tasting of Calgary. His knowledge and experience was outstanding. It was a fabulous way to spend the afternoon with great company.
Wondering evening with new friends walking the streets of Calgary to view so many fabulous murals, with the excellent guidance and knowledge of Tina, our guide. Would highly recommend as an insightful and easy Calgary activity!
A delightfully eye opening tour! The murals we saw were beautiful and thought provoking. Our guide Ross was super informative and his comments were part of a superb package. Plus those tasty beers! Highly recommended!
Great tour of the city of Calgary city art. Many talented artists leave their mark on the sides if buildings all over the city. We began at the wonderful brewery and sampled 6 different beers. Then walked the city to see the art and ended at a second brewery sampling another f is ur beers. The second was Four Dogs which allowed patrons to bring their dogs with them inside.
Fantastic tour Great fun & see do much of the city Went in the morning It was so good we booked another tour an walking Arts tour in the afternoon That was good too ( it did include craft beer drinks included in price if this tour. I don’t drink beer so had a soft drink instead ) They take you to areas you would never find the artwork, tucked away. Tour guide was great.
Fabulous tour with a great guide
Tina was an absolutely great guide we saw tons of murals She explained quite a bit about the city of Calgary and then we had some wonderful beer selections at two different sites.
Such a fun walk with our guide Tina, who introduced us to over two dozen murals in downtown Calgary, as well as some nice breweries. We were lucky to have a great group and the afternoon was really enjoyable. Would love to take a history tour with Tina someday. She’s incredibly knowledgeable.

Great afternoon with Tuone (spelling). I was the only one on the tour and learned some history of Calgary as well as see the street art. Thank you for a great afternoon.
(This review is for a tour that was taken during the rain-in good weather the tour may have been different.) The tour was scheduled for 4 adults, three beer drinkers and one not. I had verified before the trip with the company that I could exchange the flight for either cider or wine and it was confirmed as not problem. On arrival to the tour company we were greeted by Shawn, a very pleasant guide. He offered umbrellas and commented that due to the weather he didn't expect us to arrive. We had flown in the night before and it was past the cancellation policy so yes we arrived and planned to do the tour. He asked if we just wanted to go to the breweries or try to get the art murals in as well. We asked for the tour to be done as close to normal as possible. The first brewery, Bottlescrew Bills, was not expecting us because the tour leader had not made a reservation and was overheard telling them that he didn't think we would show up. We were shown to a table and waited 45 minutes to be given the flights. The waitress knew little to nothing about the beers and the tour guide was unaware of the arrangement for a substitute wine/cider for one. The flights finally arrived, the waitress had no idea which beer was which and the orders were wrong so we waited again for that to be corrected. The wine was swapped in place of a flight, which I appreciated. We spent an hour and fifteen minutes sitting at this incompetent brewery with terrible service and lack luster beer. We did see roughly 10 murals/pieces of art during the tour-we were expecting more murals based on the description. The murals are interesting but spread out. The next brewery was The Last Best. The atmosphere and the wait staff were much better. The cider was canned and not good. The flights were slightly better but overall not really impressive. The bulk of the tour was sitting in the two breweries, a significant amount of walking between scattered murals and statues. I also found it odd that the tour guide was drinking the flights. We have been on several food tours and this was a first for the guide to actually partake of the beer and or food. We were the only 4 that showed up for the tour so it was slightly uncomfortable in that respect also. I could not recommend this tour if what we experienced is the norm. It is possible it was altered due to the weather, but if that is the case we should have been given the option to cancel within the 24 hour window.
Great way to get to know the city, see some amazing art and indulge in craft beer! Guides were friendly and knowledgeable and had some great tips of things to do in Calgary! Happily recommend this!
Awesome experience! Our guide, Tina, was a wealth of knowledge about Canada and Calgary history. The art (murals and statues) that we saw were amazing and the bars we went to served amazing flights of local craft beers and ciders! Highly recommend this tour.
This was an awesome experience to experience Calgary. We were able to experience the city, and saw great street art that we normally wouldn’t have paid as much attention to. We also went to a couple of great breweries. Our guides were so cool and just really fun people to be around. We ended up just chatting even longer than the 3 hours! The hosts pick up the tabs at the breweries so nothing to worry about. 10/10 would recommend!
R this was a very interesting and enjoyable tour. Our guide theuna was very knowledgeable about the various artworks. I really enjoyed the two breweries
We had the best time at the Calgary Street Art and Craft Beer tour today. We walked around the Beltline area looking at wonderful pieces of street art. We also had the chance to visit 2 establishments to sample some amazing craft beers. We particularly enjoyed the Four Dogs Taproom which, as well as having a fantastic selection of drinks, is dog themed which we loved. Our tour guide was Daniel and he was absolutely brilliant. He really made the tour special for us , he was so knowledgeable about the art work and he was great fun. We understand that this tour may soon be unavailable - please, please keep it on your schedule, it really is a fantastic experience, it would be such a shame to see it disappear. Many thanks for a great day.
Daryl was our tour guide and he made this a very fun and informative tour. He has really studied the mural art and even talks with artists to find out more about their work so he can share the information with people touring. He asks great questions while you tour to make you think about and really appreciate the art. The two breweries we visited had great beers and fun atmospheres. We highly recommend this tour
So much fun! The street art was so eclectic. Daryl had the backstories on the artists and murals. Got to know a piece of Calgary that few would know. The brewery’s were a great addition and the perfect pit stops to get to know one another.
Absolutely beautiful city! We got to see so many things we would have missed on our own. And the pubs we visited had a lot of local character - exactly what we were hoping for. Guides were fantastic! We had three generations in our groul, and all of us had a good time.
Toonie Tour Calgary – A Must-Do! We had an amazing time on the Toonie Tour with our guide Jamie—fun, knowledgeable, and the perfect host! We saw the sights of the City and magnificent murals while learning so much about Calgary along the way. Highly recommend this tour if you want to explore the city from a new perspective while enjoying some delicious local beer. Don’t miss it! 🍻🇨🇦
Jamie was an excellent guide walking through Calgary’s growing street art in the downtown area. The tour gave me a much deeper appreciation for the art. The two beer stops were great, too!
Tour was personalised as it was slid and cold day. Great art scene knowledge and fun trudging in the snow
If you want to see some amazing street art and also get a feel for a different part of the city, this tour is for you. The tour guide has really taken the time to get to know all the art work and the artists. And the art is amazing and it's so great to know that it will be added to year on year. And the craft beer was really good too - a slide to start, a slide to finish
If you're looking to explore Calgary's unique blend of art and brews, then the Street Art and Brewery Tour with Jamie is an absolute must! This engaging and well-paced tour takes you through the city's vibrant Beltline neighborhood, where you'll encounter stunning street art murals and sample delicious craft beers at local breweries.
The street art was amazing and our guide was so informative about each piece. The breweries had some wonderful beers to try as well, each place was so different and unique.
Jamie did a great job - very fun tour. We learned a lot about the murals and their background and had some very nice beers as well!
Aida was fantastic! Knowledgeable and very personable. Highly recommended adventure and a great introduction to Calgary
There was a mix up with our booking, but Toonie Tour staff were great and got us sorted. They called Darrel to come at the last minute to be our guide. Darrel proved to be an outstanding guide. His knowledge of the background behind the artwork, including his conversations with many of the artists, provided insights into each mural. The two beer stops, with a flight at each, were very good. Nice beer and a great conversation with Darrel. From a rocky beginning to a fantastic conclusion, we thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon.
The street art was great - lots of variety. The tour director was very knowledgeable. Wide variety of beer.
We saw many beautiful paintings arounf downtown Calgary that we would never have seen without this tour. And we got inside facts about the artists and the projects to bring this art to the city. We visited 2 nice breweries for some excellent beers. Be ready to walk!!
Ended up just being me and the guide after my friend got sick and couldn’t make it. Was kinda worried that would be an awkward experience but the guide was very personable and we had good conversations the entire tour. Saw a ton of murals I wouldn’t have found on my own and heard stories about the art I wouldn’t have thought to look up. Definitely worth your time if you’re an art fan. Beer was good too! 🍻
Such an interesting combination tour - art & craft beer! Unfortunately, it was very, very hot (90's!) that day & there was a lot of walking involved, so not as enjoyable as it could have been. First, we stopped at one of the 2 breweries we were scheduled to visit - enjoyed the craft beers! Then we walked, guided by Ewan, to view the numerous & beautiful BUMP (Beltline Urban Mural Project) street murals - wow, very impressive! We ended at a second brewery - again, enjoyed the flight of craft beers! I would recommend the tour esp if you enjoy street art & craft beers!
Aida is a wonderful tour guide. Enjoyed the small group setting. Very interesting history and cultural background of the art and city.
Surprisingly we had a private tour since we were the only ones signed up for the 3 hour Calgary Street Art & Craft Beer Tour. Ewan and two trainees were our guides and the conversations we had were interesting and enlightening. We walked at a very relaxed pace and were allowed time for photos. The street art we saw was truly off the beaten path and the shared art knowledge was helpful. The variety of the beer at the 2 places we visited was was excellent. I highly recommend booking with Toonie Tours and Ewan
Great craft beer bars each end of tour . Even our guide was very knowledgable on every piece of art , the artist, the piece , the inspiration, the history of the BUMP artworks . We would have missed all of this just wondering around on our own . Throughly recommended
Ewan was a great tour leader he was informative about the beer’s and street art and was a really good way to see Calgary at the end of our trip home to Australia
Jamie was extremely knowledgeable and fun!Beers tastings were generous and delicious! Very relaxed and comfortable atmosphere for a tour. One of our favorites! I would highly recommend, even if you aren’t sure street art is your thing!
Such a great way to get to know Calgary! Our guide was excellent and had stellar insights about the murals and their artists. Really fun and want to come back and go again as there is so many murals and so much craft beer to cheers to a fun experience!
Toby was absolutely amazing! Informative, professional, sweet and funny! First time to Calgary, we felt so welcomed by her! Would definitely recommend her as a guide to anyone taking this tour!
I really enjoyed this tour! The murals were wonderful; a great variety, with some interesting stories and many were absolutely stunning. It was also a fun way to get a feel for some of the neighborhoods in Calgary. The guides, Daryl and Wendy, were well informed about the murals and the city and were great to talk to. Starting and ending the tour with a flight of local brews was a perfect touch. I highly recommend this tour!
The mural art was an interesting example of a public/private civic initiative to humanize an urban space with a very new built environment. You see a lot and the more you see the greater the impact. The beer flights don’t hurt. And the resultant conversation (if you are lucky in your companions and your guide..props to Jamie for being well-informed and unflappable.
Toby was fantastic! Took amazing care of our group - extremely knowledgeable😁. Highly recommend for any Calgary tour.
The guide was excellent. The tour was very interesting. The pubs and the beers was very nice. A happey tour
We booked this tour to round out out trip to Calgary/Banff/Canmore. Perfect way to end a vacation with good beer and a great walking tour of the murals in downtown Calgary.
Enhanced Appreciation small brewer's products and the beauty of murals and wall art. A fun afternoon with plenty of walking with a knowledgeable, well prepared guide.
Lovely host - did a great job expanding the murals. A bit hot day so may have needed to adjust pace or cut back on a few murals. Also write up says 5x5 ounces at second brewery - may be a typo - we got 4 and I paid for the 5th one
Small group experience with wonderfully charming and engaging guide. Would highly recommend this tour!
