Itinerary
The tour starts and spends its first hour here, in the Chinatown Chinese railway workers founded in 1883 and rebuilt on Centre Street in 1910.
The domed landmark on 1st Street SW, a two-minute walk from our first two stops. Guests pass it between Chinatown and the downtown core.
The route crosses this pedestrian street of sandstone buildings, a national historic site since 2002, on the way to the third stop.
Visible for most of the walk and a short detour south of Stephen Avenue. Useful as an orientation point for guests planning the rest of their day.
The route passes the library on the way into East Village. The New York Times named it among its places to visit in 2018.
Across from the library in East Village, a few minutes from the final stop.
The final stretch runs along the Bow River path, which links East Village to the rest of downtown
Where the Bow and Elbow rivers meet, at the east end of the route. Guests finishing the tour are a short walk away.
