Banff: Twilight Wildlife Alpine Lakes: Special Sunset Scenic Tour

I had such an amazing experience on my private wildlife tour with Moiz! We got to see deer and elk, and the highlight was actually hearing a male elk calling in the wild. It was such a special moment! Moiz was absolutely wonderful! He’s incredibly knowledgeable, patient, polite, and so friendly. You can tell he really knows his stuff and loves what he does. He took his time, explained so much, and made the whole experience really enjoyable. I’m so glad I booked this tour. It was definitely one of the highlights of my trip! I would 100% recommend Moiz to anyone looking for a great wildlife experience. 🦌

My husband and I booked our tour after a different one was cancelled. He and I met Moiz who was polite, professional, and personable. He is very knowledgeable about the Banff area: its history, geology, culture, and economics. Moiz gave us the opportunity to explore a bit on our own but also joined us to give us additional information about our stops, and he kindly took some photos of us. We were able to see a deer, coyote, and elk. Moiz stopped and told us how far we could walk to take pictures while maintaining a safe distance from the elk. What began as a disappointing morning when our original tour was cancelled became one of our highlights of our trip. Thank you, Moiz, for providing us with a memorable excursion.

We had the best time with Moiz! He was very knowledgeable about the areas and the animals. He shared stories and photos and we truly enjoyed our evening with him. We saw elk, wolves, squirrels, ducks and mice. It was amazing to see the elk and hear their call. We’d definitely recommend doing the evening tour to see the most wildlife.

Mike was the best tour guide!!! He showed us the most amazing spots. We got to see mountain goats, the cutest squirrels who came right up to our hands. We didn’t see any bears but the tour itself was a 10/10. I am so happy we did that! He had so much knowledge of banff and answered all our questions!

Spent a wonderful three hours being shown around this beautiful area by our tour guide Mike. Fabulous scenery everywhere we went and we managed to see some wildlife as well….. mountain goat, bighorn sheep, Colombian groundskull, elk, Canadian geese.
