What can I say? I can wholeheartedly recommend this walking tour. I learnt so much about Banff that I simply would never have discovered wandering around on my own. ERIN he’s such a beautiful soul, and spending two hours with her was an absolute pleasure. Her warmth, passion, and deep knowledge of the town brought Banff history, stories and characters to life in a way that made the experience truly special. This was far more than just a tour, it felt like spending time with a friend who generally loves sharing the place she calls Home. I would happily do it all over again when I return with my wife and daughter. Thank you, ERIN, for your kindness your enthusiasm and form creating such a memorable experience. We did the Banff Walking Tour with Erin which we thoroughly enjoyed. Erin was very personable and knowledgeable about Banff and provided a great insight into the town. A perfect tour to do when you first arrive in Banff. We did the 9am tour which was great as the town was much quieter at this time. We loved the sweet treat, so much so we went back for another one a few days later. We highly recommend this tour.

Spouse and I spend two very interesting hours walking around downtown Banff with Erin, the upbeat, high energy owner of Banff Town Walking Tour. Erin provides local perspective, including some Banff/Canmore history, insight into how Banff has been changing over time, the inevitable tensions - both the pleasures and challenges - that are inherent in living/working a tourist town in a national park, housing, climate and workforce issues,...Of course, any one of these topics could be an entire seminar, but Erin does a great job of providing a high level overview and you come away feeling a little more invested in the community at large and the people who make this place home. We wish we had taken the tour as soon as we'd arrived, instead of towards the end.

My wife and I had a solo tour with Erin which was so interesting and informative. We covered a lot of the local history and it was so good to get some knowledge on things you may see walking around town but didn’t understand their significance. Erin was a charming host, very knowledgable and so easy to chat with during our tour and answered all our questions on a number of different topics regarding the local area and Canada in general. Erin shared both past history and current events about Banff and Canmore as we walked and explored town. She was fun, knowledgeable, and excited about sharing her community with us. The tour has something for everyone as it included information on parks, architecture, the Bow River, prominent people of Banff, etc. We learned a lot and got our bearings while having fun. Erin shared restaurant recommendations too, which we always appreciate. I highly recommend the tour.

Erin was fantastic, great fun and do knowledgable. We weren’t sure what to expect but the mixture of history, stories of the olympics, anecdotes and links to modern day initiatives etc were great. We saw lots of hidden gems - the taxidermy museum/shop, totem pole, buffalo street historical houses, etc. As Erin does a food tour we were granted some insights into god places to eat. Support this lady and her son, we felt we’d known her for a long time. A great evening

Erin was our tour guide. She was professional, personable, and as a native of this area she was well-versed in the culture and traditions of Banff and the surrounding areas. We thoroughly enjoyed the history and sites all within a relaxed and easy walking distance. The stops along the tour for a refreshment followed by a super yummy sweet treat were so thoughtful. We arrived to Banff fairly late the night before our tour and started out first thing in the morning on this tour getting all the scoop on the town. Highly recommend as a way to start out your visit in Banff!

Great tour! Clear and timely communication in advance and an insightful tour with key historic and cultural points noted. A steady pace and relaxing vibe which is great for asking questions and stopping for photo opportunities. A fantastic intro Banff and would highly recommend!

How lucky were we! We were the only 2 on the walking tour with Erin today at 11.30. We had the most amazing, informative 2 hours which included a drink and sweet treat of our choice. Can only recommend this to anyone visiting Banff. We had been here a few days already but learnt so much more.

We learned a lot and we had a great time. There was no wildlife spotted on the tour, but we heard all about a grizzly bear they call Boss. As part of the tour we got a local soda and then our choice of a sweet treat at the end of the tour. Afterwards, we ate some really good pizza at a recommended restaurant.

Erin was so friendly and informative. She lives local and was able to answer all of our questions. The drink and treat are so yummy! Highly recommend if you want some really good history of Banff. I now fully understand how the national park came to be!

I completed the walking tour in March with some buddies and it was a blast. The tour guides are very knowledgeable and fun, and we saw some beautiful views. The food and drinks were also super good. Would definitely recommend if you’re going on a trip to the mountains with friends

This is such an excellent way to get to know the town of Banff, and only takes a couple hours. Would 100% recommend for first time visitors, especially as a scene setter on arrival day. But also those who have been before – we've done many a trip to Banff but there was still so much we learned. Our guide was the owner, Erin, and she was amazing – such infectious passion, first-rate hospitality, and really knew her stuff. Five stars all the way!

I was so excited to find this flyer for Banff Walking Tours! My husband and I were staying at the Fairmont which is amazing- but I wanted to get out of the hotel and explore without being on my phone! Banff Walking Tours allowed me to do just that (also I took the Bow River trail into town from the hotel)! This two our tour hour walking tour was informative, hospitable, and a joy to book! Alex was our tour guide. He was very charming, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our walk around Banff, learning a lot about its history, and about the present day town.
