I didn’t realize the tour was in a van and not a bus. It was an incredibly tight fit in the van with one couple not even sitting next to each other. They ended up leaving the tour in the middle. Thankfully my husband and I were next to each other but he is 6’1” and his knees were hitting the back of the seat. That’s rough for a tour that long. Our van driver, Olivia, was sick that day and talked about how bad she felt the entire time, making the experience not fun. For this amount of money I was expecting a much better experience.

Lou was our guide. He was funny and informative! The tour bus was on-time as well.keep up the good work.
Tour guide was very poor (no information) Bus was a crowded 12 passenger. Just basically transportation. Would have been much cheaper and more comfortable using a city bus.
Great little excursion, especially for the fall season! Louis, our driver was amazing. He was so knowledgeable and personable.
The locations were amazing but the van was a mess, the microphone didn’t work and the windows fogged to the point you could not see out the windows.
Very easy and comfortable way to visit 2 lakes and light hiking without having to worry about traffic or parking.
Truly the best tour we had our whole trip! Louise was amazing and the lakes were great! The bus ride was great and we had plenty of time at the lakes !
This was the perfect trip for us. The van picked us up in Canmore and we were able to see both lakes with plenty of time to spend at each location. Our guide Olivia kept us entertained and gave fun facts. I would highly recommend it.
This is only a bus service. No tour guide. We got about 1 hour at lake Louise and 1 hour at lake Moraine.
This was my least favorite of all the tours It felt a little rushed and of all the tours was the only tour guide that didn’t engage with the group or tell us information- would not do this one again. We ended up doing the hop on and off bus another day and the experience was much better and cheaper!
Moraine Lake is a must and Lake Louise is beautiful as always. It was very comfortable and the travellers can truly enjoy both lakes.
Shuttle ride. Our driver provided no information other than when to return to van. Banff-to-go cancelled our original time of 8AM and gave us choice of 2PM or 8AM the following day. As we had no availability the following day, we selected the 2PM option. Moraine lake was fine. Lake Louise at 5:30 is not nearly impressive due to sun location at that time. We were told the reason for the cancellation was a vehicle issue. My opinion is that it was intentional consolidation to fill the van.
Two very beautiful lakes. We were with a tour group and would loved to have more time to hike around and explore. Glad we had the opportunity to see these gorgeous lakes.
It was good. Our driver was nice. He dropped us off at our hotel. Lakes were beautiful. I have nothing to say
Louis was a great guide. Regaled us with stories and information about the area. Was very prompt and professional as well as friendly and caring. We enjoyed him. He was also a very good driver. Unfortunately the weather was not the best so we could not see Lake Louise at all but Lake Moraine was beautiful even though cold and rainy.
It is a shuttle, not a guided tour, but our driver gave us lots of information anyway. We felt there was sufficient time at both stops to walk leisurely to the lakes, take plenty of pictures and still be back in the time allotted. Both stops are accessible by walker or wheelchair.
We were a large group of 10 (6 adults, 4 young kids) travelling together. There was very little chance of securing the Parks Canada tickets for such a large group. If you simply want to see the 2 lakes for a short period of time (75min each), this tour would be a hassle-free option. The shuttle ride was pleasant and we were able to store our baby strollers inside the shuttle while we visited the lakes.
This was a great way to see both lakes without the hassle of finding parking and waiting in the long line for the shuttle bus.
That if you were really on a time schedule, that you will not keep it, because people drag up many minutes after the deadline
The bus driver was good but maybe could have been more elaborate on the views on the way based on other ventures
It was definitely the best way to see Moraine Lake and Lake Louise. There was no hassle about parking and we had time to hike both lakes.
Lovely day out. The guide was very knowledgeable and plenty of time was allowed. Only negative is that this trip when organised through Viator only had the one pickup point in Banff which was 1.5 miles away from our accommodation, meaning taxis were needed.
Our preferred slot was cancelled due to vehicle issues. We were given the option of later that day or another day. As we were leaving Banff the next day we had no choice but to take the later slot. As weather conditions were poor we would have preferred to cancel but there was no cancellation option. Additionally, anyone over 5’10’ tall would struggle with the leg room in the transport…
Bus was on time and honestly 1 hour at each spot was the perfect amount of time for us, since we were trying to do so many activities in 1 day. Would definitely do this again
The transport to and from Lake Louise and Moriaine Lake was without incident. Our driver was competent and friendly. My lack of high marks was because the driver was also to be a tour guide. There was no interesting information on the areas we were driving through nor on the lakes we visited. I expected a guide to offer information not just be a driver. That part was disappointing.
The trip itself was as advertised. You get 1 hour in each spot. It is a 24 seat mini bus. We got a canoe at moraine lake. Its 170/hr and we were on it for about 40 minutes before rushing back to the shuttle. The driver was excellent. Very friendly. Very safe. Now aside for the actual trip..I booked for 820am and the day before I was asked to reschedule for 14:25 due to a bus breakdown. Kind of screwed up my plans for my banff stay but they accommodated me and it is what it is.
Very efficiently conducted trip, both in terms of time and money. It gives exactly the right amount of time for every activity....
Our guide oscar was amazing, our family had a great time visiting lake louise & morraine lake . Everything went smooth and on time , highly recommend it
Banff To Do made our visit to Moraine Lake & Lake Louise super easy. Oscar was friendly & knowledgable-taking us to Moraine Lake first before the crowds picked up. We had around 45-60 mins in each location, enough time to walk the rockpile at Moraine Lake & rent a canoe at Lake Louise. Van was air conditioned, clean & spacious. Would definately recommend
Our guide/driver was very friendly. He shared a lot of useful information with us. It was a very enjoyable experience. The lakes so gorgeous and we also had a nice sunny day.
Our Driver, Louis, was excellent. With His work expérience hé spoke of, we felt safe and IT was obvious when hé was driving. Hé gave us some interesting facts about the géologue of the lakes etc., in terms that made IT easy to understand! Hé prioritized which Lake to visit first, based on His expérience. Seeing the lakes, in comfort, convinience of pick-up location, made the tour well worth IT!
The driver was nice and friendly, but although the tour description says 1 and half hours at each location, we only got one hour. Moraine lake was maybe enough for one hour, but we wish we had more time at Lake Louise. We could only take some pictures there and didn't have much time to walk around and enjoy enough of the amazing scenery.
Our driver was very polite and gave us enough time to visit both lakes. He was checking to see if all passengers are having fun
The scenery is incredible, our driver, informative, but the crowds were crazy. There’s very little personal space if you go on a weekend… Consider a weekday and maybe it’ll be better.
Louise was awesome. He was kind caring and attentive. Even though It was a shuttle, he made it a mini tour guide. The entire process pickup and communicstion, the company everything was top of the class. A worth trip and got the best of the views since we were on time crunch and got to see both Lake Louise and Lake Moraine. Thank you so much team Banfftodo and Viator
Great way to see the main lakes when you don't have a lot of time in Banff. Unfortunately, the bus driver was late so we lost some time.
The bus arrived over 1 hour late. Driving was safe and lakes were beautiful. We were lucky that we didn’t have anything planned afterward.
This half day visit provides ample time for a good look at both lakes. On time pick up by friendly driver. We chose a pm departure to hopefully avoid the worst of the crowds.
Pretty good, exactly on time! 1 hour in Lake Louise and 1:10 hours in Moraine Lake. The driver was very nice and waited for us for a couple of minutes, although we were late.
Easy way to visit Lake Louise and Lake Moraine. The pickup spot was convenient to where we were staying in Canmore.
I gave 4stars for only the itinerary time is limited that we couldn’t spend more time and do activites at the park however I recommend to have a bus tour to get rid of parking stress and recommending for the easy access and guide till pickup and drop off
We had booked for a morning trip and was told the day before it was cancelled due to mechanical issues. We were given another slot 6 hours later. While I am happy we did not lose the trip entirely, we had to replan our entire day which impacted our experience. The driver was fine and an hour at each site is good for a taste. The smoke was heavy and very difficult to see the mountains that day. Not anyone's fault, but between the day being rescheduled, smoke filled mountains and tipping expectations in addition to the tour price, the park and ride option will be taken next time.
This tour was advertised as using a shuttle bus. I asked what the seat belt situation was and in their response the company told me that they didn’t know which bus would be assigned that day, but that all buses had either shoulder or lap belts. Less than 24 hours beforehand, we received a message that van 141 would be our transportation for our trip. No where did it state that a van might be one of the options. I asked if car seats were required and/or provided. No one responded. When we showed up for the tour, the driver told us that they sometimes provide car seats, but they didn’t send a van with them that day. I purchased an infant and toddler ticket, so not sure how this wasn’t addressed. It was also never noted that we should bring our own car seats if we wanted our kids in them. Passenger vans are statistically much less safe than buses. Had I known I would be expected to put my children in one unrestrained prior to the 24 hour free cancellation, I absolutely would have cancelled the tour. We didn’t end up going because of safety concerns. I called the company to ask for a refund and while they acknowledged I was right in all of my reasoning, they refused to provide a refund. So basically they changed up the advertised venue after the free cancellation period then refused to provide a refund when we didn’t want their new, unsafe option. Completely ridiculous and terrible customer service. Run away fast.
This provides access to the lakes only. No time for canoe rentals. Pack a lunch. As long as you’re not expecting a “tour guide” around the lake, this is perfectly fine. Tip the driver. 10 CAD per person. Don’t be cheap
Not good . They cancel last min our actual time and than when we booked they said it’s 5-6 hour time and each lake they gave us 2 hour but they only gave us 1 hour.. 🙄🙄🙄
While the itinerary was good, our "tour guide" was only a bus driver. Other reviews of this trip all raved about their tour guide who was informative, interesting and told lots of stories. We got total silence except when we arrived at our stop and he announced what time we needed to be back on the bus. Lake Louise and Moraine Lake were gorgeous!
The driver/guide is not fluent in English at all and he did not provide much guide for the whole trip. He is only concerned about the tip and he even requested $10 tip per person. The trip started about half hour later 8:50 am (originally scheduled at 8:345 am)
Great customer service when there’s any issue, very friendly driver full of knowledge, easy drop of points to reach the lakes
At CAD $80 per person, this compared very favourably to some of other tour operators. Our driver, jazzy had a really nice sense of humour. We got to spend plenty of time in Lake Louise and Moraine Lake. All in all, a good trip
Bus was on time and we went to both lakes. He allowed us time to walk around the lake viewpoints. He was very polite.
