Lovely place. Had 2 rooms here in Aug 2026. Location excellent. Friendly and helpful service all around. Lovely to have a Nespresso in the room! The breakfast buffet was one of the best we have ever seen. Very high quality food, especially the fruits and cheeses and vegetables. Delicious. We had a great stay.
We loved our stay at The Malcolm-- the 360 mountain views cannot be beat and already can't wait to come back. We enjoyed spending time in the outdoor pool + spa and enjoying morning coffee and sunsets from our deck. The location is ideal-- a short walk from downtown Canmore and is surrounded by two beautiful rivers with walking paths. Thor at the concierge was extremely helpful in helping us plan our days and gave amazing recommendations. We truly enjoyed all of the excursions and restaurants he recommended. We had an amazing stay and would highly recommend The Malcolm!
Our favourite hotel of our Canada trip 😍😍 Stunning views! Rooms great, staff lovely. Restaurant inside Stirling was so nice too Pool has most gorgeous views sadly there was a child making excessive noises so had to leave as the parent wasn’t saying a thing! Wish pool was kid free or kid free times to avoid. Definitely recommend staying here the area was gorgeous too 🥰🥰
We had a fantastic time at the Malcolm. The views are unbeatable and on top of that we got a massive, modern, clean room. The heated pool overlooking policeman's creek can't be missed especially after a long day of hiking. Our balcony overlooking the three sister and the creek was spectacular and a wonderful place to relax in the evenings. Eduardo, Cami, and Alfonso, thank you for fabulous service. Alfonso is an absolute gem. I wish I had grabbed the name of the front desk woman that checked us in as she helped us multiple times and was so sweet. She had almost shoulder length dark straight hair. We grabbed coffee at the cafe/ gift shop and found some unique fun gifts as well but didn't try the restaurant on site. We drove into Banff and we're so glad we chose to stay in Canmore instead for the second leg of our trip. I highly suggest staying in Jasper and Canmore on your Canadian Rocky visit. Trust me, you are driving all over to see the sights anyways. The turndown cookies were a nice touch but honestly kind of gross. Literally all I can complain about is the free thing!
Our stay at the Malcolm Hotel was one of the highlights of our trip to Canmore and Banff. We were traveling as a family, including my mom, and from the moment we checked in, everyone made us feel genuinely welcome. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, and waking up to the mountain views every morning never got old. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed after long days exploring Banff, Lake Louise, and the surrounding area. One of our favorite parts of the hotel was relaxing in the heated outdoor pool and hot tub while looking out at the mountains. It was the perfect way to end each day. The location couldn’t have been better. We loved being able to walk into downtown Canmore for coffee, restaurants, and shopping while still enjoying a quiet, peaceful atmosphere back at the hotel. What really made our stay special, though, was the hospitality. Every staff member we met was friendly, kind, and genuinely cared that we were having a great experience. Those small interactions made us feel less like guests and more like we were being welcomed into the community. Thank you for making our Alberta vacation so memorable. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and will gladly recommend the Malcolm Hotel to anyone visiting Canmore.
