Hotel Le Germain Calgary

I stayed here for a week while volunteering for a huge convention. The hotel is perfectly situated downtown, a short walk to many good restaurants (Charcut downstairs is great), the Calgary Tower and the BMO Centre. It is elegant and quiet, with comfortable beds and pillows. The rooms have Nespresso and tea, and a small kettle for boiling water for the tea. During that week, two staff members in particular elevated our stay from normal to superior. Cem made great restaurant recommendations and always had a friendly smile and greeting; he made us feel so welcome. Brahim did as well. He also went above and beyond in situating us in a different room when the shower in ours was non-functional. For the entire stay, he smoothed out any rough patches while maintaining his calm, polite, friendly demeanor. I liked this hotel before, but these fantastic people have made it my favorite. Well done!

Stayed here for our 5 year anniversary and it was a lovely experience. All the staff were very friendly, they even had a text line if you had questions! Lots of very unique upgrades in our room that made it feel very luxerious!! We would recommend staying there.

Excellent stay at Le Germain Hotel on center street! The location is perfect, right opposite the Calgary Tower and only a minute walk to the pubs and restaurants on 8th Ave. The service was exceptional, and the room was spacious and well-appointed. The king bed could have been a little softer. The bathroom was luxurious, with high-end fittings and premium toiletries. The lounge area was also a great place to relax. Overall, a wonderful hotel with excellent service and a fantastic location. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful and modern hotel in a great location. Staff is super polite, friendly and helpful. The room was big and well decorated, with a walk-in closet. The only downside and the reason for 4 stars is the air conditioner that was extremely loud and it made hard to sleep. I would also suggest to add a garbage bin in the toilet area.
