We booked for the pool and we were not disappointed. Great vibe, open from 0600h until dusk in the summer. The three hour limit on booking is enough to get in a swim, a meal and some pool side beverages. The social club is also worth a visit; golf, games and relaxed atmosphere. The hotel lives up to it's Arts vibe. Looking forward to staying here again.

DO NOT Stay Here!! We booked this hotel thinking this was an upscale hotel and we’re excited to check out the pool as this was my birthday and we wanted to stay somewhere nice. From the very moment we got there the service at the front desk was terrible. We ate at their restaurant poolside and during the night my 8 year old son got sick and threw up in the bed. We cleaned it up as best we could but it’s not like we have access to a laundry facility. Sometimes kids get sick at night, any parent knows this. Then we get an email from the manager claiming we damaged the room and he was charging us $750 as a result (plus keeping the $100 damage amount they normally take at check in). This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. After emailing with the manager and asking for proof he agreed to partially reduce the “damage fee” but insisted we damaged the room. Thankfully when I disputed the charge with Visa they agreed and fully credited this charge. I would have understood if we broke a lamp or damaged the tv but we didn’t. What were we supposed to do here? Take the bedding to a laundry mat somewhere and wash it and then return it. We have stayed at many upscale hotels over the years and this might just be the worst place we have ever stayed. If you’re looking to stay downtown Calgary, try the Fairmont or Le Germain instead. On a positive note, the wait staff that served us around the pool were great and attentive.
My husband & I decided to spend the night to celebrate our anniversary and we had an amazing time! We requested an early check- in so we could enjoy the beautiful pool area for the afternoon. We loved the vibe…great music, cocktails and food! Our room was comfortable, and we were treated to a thoughtful anniversary card and some delicious treats were brought to our room, and we received a complimentary late check -out as well. Ten Foot Henry is just steps away from the hotel, and was a fun spot to grab dinner!
I absolutely love Hotel Arts! I’ve stayed here twice for business and will definitely be back. Check-in is always seamless, the rooms are spotless, and the beds are incredibly comfortable. I like the single-serve coffee machines, makeup wipes, and the Routine shampoo, conditioner, and moisturizer—a fantastic local, woman-owned brand. The outdoor pool is one of my favourite parts of the hotel. It has a great atmosphere with awesome music, a creative cocktail menu, and delicious food. The beef tacos are a must-try! There are also two excellent restaurants right on site, and the hotel is perfectly located within walking distance of so many great restaurants, bars, and attractions. Whether you’re visiting for business or a weekend getaway, I can’t recommend Hotel Arts enough.
Our first stay at Hotel Arts as first-time visitors from the Philippines was truly unforgettable! Thank you so much to Keely and Belen for the warm welcome and personalized gifts when we arrived. Everyone was so kind and welcoming from the front desk to the restaurant staffs throughout our stay. Special thank you as well to John and Kylie at Freestyle Lounge and Poolside for the amazing service and hospitality. Last but not the least, a big thanks to Jerwin Miranda for making our stay one of the best! Thank you, Hotel Arts, for such a memorable experience. We will definitely come back! 🤍
