It was a beautiful evening we took a short nature hike in the park at night. Took beautiful pictures with our phone in complete darkness. We took the most amazing pictures absolutely stunning. Then we went to go see the northern lights the viability on that night was low we did get to see it but very little but our tour guild Nina was amazing and made sure we would at least get to see them. Our phones did catch the northern lights better than our eyes. Highly recommend this tour when visiting Alaska

Itinerary
Learn the history, origins and how to use an ULU knife used Natives to flay whale and salmon.
Prior to arriving at Earthquake Park we will visit exhibits to learn about the 1964 - 9.2 earthquake.
See the world's busiest Float Plane Lake.
At Alaska Wild Berry Products you will see the World’s Largest Chocolate Water Fall! The falls incorporates over 3000 pounds of chocolate, authentic copper candy kettles, and a specially built warming and mixing system. The chocolate gushes out of the fountain head, cascades down the kettles, then settles in the swirling chocolate pool. And by the way, if you're tempted by the luscious smell to sample some of the flowing melted candy, please don't. The chocolate waterfall is for your visual enjoyment only. The store has plenty of delicious chocolate at the candy counter to your left. And you can sample before you buy.
Visit the Alaska Native Medical Center (ANMC) – Ok, so if you're not native, you might think you would have no reason to visit ANMC, but you'd be wrong. At this hospital you will see one of the largest collection of Native Art from all around Alaska that represents over 227 federally recognized tribes in Alaska and rivals anything you will see in a museum. In fact, the collection is probably better. Here you will get a true flavor of Alaska’s rich Native history and learn about ANCSA. There's also a Native craft gift shop that will make you drool... They only mark up the art by 20 percent unlike the 150 percent markup you find downtown. And if you choose to purchase, wouldn't you feel good knowing that the proceeds from your purchase go to improve healthcare? Yeah, we thought so. Often there are Native Artisans on-sight selling their wares and even Native foods. Craft shop is closed on Saturday and Sunday and is only open 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Melissa was a GREAT tour guide! Very knowledgeable and very professional. She is great in what she does. If anyone plans to take this tour get Melissa and she will not fail you showing the beautiful Anchorage.
Donna was the perfect guide! She was knowledgeable, kind and a great driver. We experienced an in depth look at Anchorage and vicinity and its history while taking in many sights! We highly recommended this tour!
It was relaxed and amazing. Our tour guide, Ina, was awesome. She was very knowledgable and answered all our questions - even recommended a place for dinner that was excellent. We would do this again and definitely recommend it!
Guide is personable and knowledgeable. Affordable way to see the city from the comfort of the tour bus. Definitely recommend!
Melissa was exceptional! Her vibe was the best! We had a great time and will definitely recommend 👌 Thank you!
Melissa gave us a really fun day! We enjoyed the extra effort she made to take advantage of things that popped up like the moose wandering around the airport:) We also really enjoyed hearing her talk about growing up in Alaska. The very best of travel….seeing a different place and learning about the people who live there. We will always remember the fun day we had with her!
Tour was amazing- confirmed with Ben who was the tour manager and was in excellent communication with us about departure point and texted us with details. Donna was an excellent guide. She was fun, incredibly knowledgeable and showed us the most important and interesting parts of Anchorage. Was our first trip to Anchorage and only here for a few days- so it was a great tour to see the highlights without wasting time. And the last stop Beluga Point was just breathtaking. Would highly recommend this tour!
After a few organisational issues, we enjoyed our tour around town. It was a great way to see Anchorage in the snow without worrying about where to go and how to get there. Our tour guide was very friendly and informative and made a significant effort to keep us entertained.
Chris is excellent. He knows history and with Anchorage his birth home, he made it so alive. And, the snow was icing on the cake.
Aunt Gary made it all come alive. The conversational histories, entertaining stories, invitations for any of our questions, super comfortable van and seats, and small group setting made it a delight. It was our first full day in Alaska. This is the tour you want and ask for Aunt Gary. Yes, ‘Aunt’ is his nickname because of all the cooking and gatherings he does for his groups of friends.
Donna shuttled us to the authentic Alaska ulu knife shop. Then off to see the mountain ranges, then we learned so much history of the area. I saw my first moose, and then another. Surprises along the way!! If you like small planes- wow, what a treat. Highly recommend this tour.
We took the city tour in June. Fortunately we were the only ones in the van so we were able to visit more with our guide, Gary. It was a fun an informative tour. We would highly recommend it, especially with Gary driving. We felt very safe and comfortable.
My goal for this visit was to see a real moose. I saw several and a baby moose came up close to check us out. It was a once in my lifetime experience. Our tour guide was friendly and informative. Everyone in our tour group was thrilled with the results of this tour.
If you want to tour Anchorage, I high recommend Alaska's Finest. It's a smaller company and do not charge what the larger companies charge. Chris was very knowledgeable about Anchorage and many of the hot spots around the area and down Turnagain Arm. You will go to a few shopping spots as well. Motor coach is comfy and the group we were with were all friendly. Disregard the comments from the spoiled people that think they know more than anyone else. Choose Alaska's Finest and you will not be disappointed.
Our Tour Guide and Driver Chris is exceptional! Patient and kind with a superb knowledge of Alaska. We enjoyed the trip immensely and would highly recommend to anyone coming to Anchorage. Totally memorable experience, and the yummy treats were appreciated.
Our Tour Guide Chris was exceptional! We loved every minute, the spectacular views the history and geographical education was brilliant and entertaining. The freebie eats, yummy! Thank you for a truly enjoyable and memorable experience! If anyone reading this is considering the trip, think no more, this is for you❤️
Beluga Point, lake hood, plus all the things I learned about Anchorage that I did not know. Our tour person was very knowledgeable and answer all our questions
It was an amazing experience. Our tour was way worth it. He had 68 MPH wind gusts but the driver came through. He was great.
Tour description misleading. Took us to 3 tourist shops (chocolate, ulu, & meats) and a couple of scenic spots. Did not take us to anything owned/run by Alaska Natives, and nothing connected to native heritage/culture, though the description said they would, and several in the van pointed that out. Also the “history” given was the one-sided Western view, (Yay, the US bought us from Russia! Yay, we became a state! The natives were so lucky about the ANCSA deal of money for land/oil rights!) << None of that is the full picture and all of it erases the true experience of Alaska Natives who were kept in the dark or away from the table in 2 of those 3 decisions, and taken advantage of in the 3rd. (The US made back everything they paid out for land/oil rights, and billions more within 2 years.) If you’re going to give history, please balance the story. And a city tour should hit the important spots in the city (Anchorage Museum, for example?! Native Heritage Center? How about the Native-owned Musk ox craft shop?) Scenery was great, guide was nice, but this tour was disappointing overall.
Excellent service from Joe who has been there since inception back in 1989. If you snub this place as just being another American chain restaurant, then think again. I had the lunch grilled salmon. So tender and flavorful, with mashed and excellent Cole Slaw. My friend had the all you can eat shrimp special. The shrimp were prepared in various ways, all extremely fresh and tasty. I did taste a few! Those cheese buns too are as good as ever. Yes pricing has soared, but this great seafood spot should not be overlooked,
The tour was very informative. Gave us extra time to explore and shop at the stops. Great thing to do if you have no idea where to go.
Matthew was an outstanding tour guide. His knowledge is phenomenal. He answered every question I threw at him, whether geography, history, biology, or other! He is extremely knowledgeable, showed us amazing sights, and was funny and very friendly. He looked out for our group and made sure we knew where to go and what to do. We saw bald eagles, Dall sheep, caribou, elk, moose, and more! The beauty was astounding. We happened to go on my birthday and it was a birthday I will always remember. I highly recommend this tour!!
Great time!! Matt was very knowledgeable of the history of Anchorage. Saw moose in the city! A must!
Chris was a fabulous guide and shared a lot of interesting information. We were able to see a moose up close and stop for pictures.....fun tour.
Chris was our guide and excellent. Born and raised in Alaska and so pleasant and knowledgeable. Just the kind of tour we like when we get to a new city.
Chris was very informative about Alaska! Very interesting & Beautiful sights. Would recommend this to everyone!
This was a good tour. We were taken to many of the tourist attractions around Anchorage. The tour guide gave us a lot of history and information about the places we visited. The tour guide also suggestions on other places to visit during our time in Anchorage.
Activities were too much concentrated on tourist shopping, I was looking more for sightseeing. Mathew was wonderful and pleasant and helpful but it was not the experience I was expecting
Excellent tour director . Very knowledge and complete information on the city. Definitely would go numerous times.
Pickup on time by Chris, in front of the Log Cabin Visitor center. Very safe driver, with plenty of shopping and photo stops offered. We hit all the high points around the city, plus a short drive out of the city to Turnagain and Beluga Points. We also stopped at a waterfall, city park, and was lucky enough to see some wildlife. Again, appreciated all the brief photo stops offered by Chris. This tour is a great value for the price. Highly recommend.
We had a great experience with a guide who is native Alaskan, Ben. It is a nice short tour covering prime spots of the city for someone staying for short period in the city.
We had such a great time on this tour! Ben is very passionate about his work and took us to so many places we would never have found on our own! He also ran the tour long so we could see the boretide! He insisted we would see a moose and at the end of the tour we did! This your was more like being out with a friend showing you around Anchorage!
This was My family and I's first time in Alaska and this tour gave us so much information and exploration of Anchorage. We saw beautiful glaciers, Icebergs, rain forest and Wildlife. Ben shared so much knowledge about Anchorage. My family and I had so much fun learning the history about Anchorage and seeing Natural Beauty. He really made our trip. This is definitely a must do tour. It is a lot of fun. You will not be disappointed!
I did back to back tours with Ben yesterday, it was a wonderful day! From beginning to end Ben shared his knowledge and all of the hotspots for seeing wildlife in Alaska. Saw nine moose in their natural habitat, six bald eagles, and mountain goats. His knowledge from being a native Alaskan was deep. All this and lots of laughs too!
We had a great experience with our tour guide, Ben. He knew all the places to go. And he wasn’t going to let us leave Alaska without seeing at least a few moose! I liked his style of tour guiding because he would give us a little info and then leave us to roam and wander and explore where and what we wanted. It was lovely!
Ben was a fantastic tour guide. He was so knowledge and told us all about his city. He was so kind and funny. We had a fantastic day.
Me and my wife were absolutely thrilled with our trip out with Ben. He was very knowledgeable and went out of his way to make our experience one we will always remember. This is one of the best values we had and would definitely recommend him for your trip to Anchorage.
It was a girls weekend and we booked the Winter-Anchorage All Around City Tour. Ben picked us up at our hotel and encouraged us to upgrade our tour to include the Turnagain Arm. We had a wonderful afternoon seeing wildlife and beautiful scenery. Ben allowed us to get out if we desired to experience the ice and snow and take pictures. We went several places on our tour and really enjoyed the afternoon!
We kept looking for moose.we saw 1 with a big red tag in his ear.kinda ruins the picture.later we found another one just hangin'out eating trees.he crossed the road in front of us,and we got really good pictures. we also saw mountain goats.got a picture of one jumpng.great picture.mostly enjoyed the day,and the beautiful scenery.the earthquake center was also very interesting. I had a great tour.
Ben was a very kind and caring individual... I would recommend him to anybody... He knows the Achorage history very well... Gave us a bonus ride to Beluga point which was not on the itinerary... Highly Recommended!!
I had a great tour with Ben. The other person on the trip canceled last minute which meant I was able to have a private tour. I know many other companies would have just canceled if there was only one person, so I was very grateful that Ben kept my reservation. He was incredibly knowledgeable about his Alaska history and was very informative, I learned a lot. He went out of his way to find moose and mountain sheep for me to see, went to additional lookout points that weren't initially part of the schedule, and he took pictures for me at many of the great sites. It was definitely a full tour and he did a great job showing me around. Thanks Ben!
We had an Awesome your with Ben! He went above and beyond to make sure that we had an enjoyable day. Thank You for the most memorable day!!
Bus was running a little late due to traffic, but the guide was awesome. Was only about 15 minutes late, but gave us almost an extra 2 hours in the guide. Highly recommend.
What a great way to get out of the city and see other parts of Alaska. Booked the tour last minute to see more of Alaska and it was worth it. Ben took us to a few great spots, plus seeing the wildlife conservation center.
We took this tour of Anchorage and our tour guide, the owner, was great! He showed us all around including seeing the scenic points and a moose! He was also gracious enough so we could stop and pick up lunch. Then at the end, he drove us all the way to our hotel which was the Alyeska Resort (40 minutes away!!) He was so kind and informative! He made that drive an in-depth tour of Anchorage and the history of the Natives! I learned so much and definitely would recommend this as a must-do tour!
We took the all around city tour and it was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! The owner gave the tour and went out of his way to make sure our tour was special! Stopping at all the scenic points, making sure we saw a moose, very knowledgeable about the earthquakes, made sure we ate, and was safe the whole time. I read the previous review and there is no way this tour could have been bad. The owner is one of the nicest sweetest people I have met in a long time. There is no way there is a bad bone in his body. I WOULD RECCOMEND TAKING THIS TOUR TO ANYONE!! The tour was so good that we are taking another tour with him tomorrow!
This tour is operated by "Alaska's Finest Tours & Cruises" - as a first timer and local to the US, we had unpleasant experience with the tour guide. The guide was rude, frustrated, discourteous, disrespectful in correspondence and some what bully on us. I am glad the guide did not get into physical handling. It was a scary experience for my wife and myself. We tried our best to not upset the guide in any way. We cut the trip short and let the guide go to save ourself from more verbal harassment. The whole day was ruined. Also, according to the tour guide, I should "judge" all the people of Alaska as the least welcoming people. The guide is either in wrong business or needs some communication soft skills.
We checked last minute, (the same day) this tour exceeded our expectations Ben and Gegorio are amazing people were very attentive to everything showed us amazing places, we fell in love with Alaska thanks to them. I recommend it 100% even we are people who do not master English perfectly and had a lot of patience to others to explain everything with details to understand it well. Can't miss I don't take to see a moose, we were amazed! Excellent Service, very friendly and nice people. I know that if we return to Alaska in the summer I would not hesitate to take the tour again.
