Vip Aurora Adventure From Fairbanks

Our guide Anthony promptly picked us up from the hotel, very safe driver in the winter advisory snow storm, very kind, knowledgeable, accommodating! I will be back to do the Aurora Tour again in late August! Loved the experience and highly recommended tour - 5 stars experience!

This tour was beyond fantastic! Our guide drove us to the most ideal spot to view the lights, and he took the best photos anyone could ask for. It takes skill to capture the lights, and he did it perfectly! I went with my husband, twin sister, and my 6 year old son. I highly recommend this trip for anyone who is looking for adventure. The cost of the tour is also a steal for exclusive access to one of the world’s best views.

Coming in late April to see the auroras, we knew it was going to be difficult to see them… but I’m leaving this review because first of all, it is not a northern lights tour. I have done this tour in Europe and the guide takes you to different places to catch the auroras and find the perfect place to see them. Unfortunately this tour gave us no information about the auroras at all ! Antonio just left us at the hot springs and that’s it. Then we took us back to the hotel. We didn’t have a northern lights tour, it was just a drive to the hot springs. The hot springs where so cool but that wasn’t the tour we asked for. Also something that is quite disappointing is that during this time of the year there’s a lot of light in the sky even after 1:00 am, so the chances of seeing the auroras is very very low. The worst of all the experience is that we booked another activity with Antonio for the next day, and he never came to pick us up !! We payed a tour and he never came. He didn’t answered the phone and gave us no response at all.

Everything was perfect! We saw the auroras took some pictures, our guide was so helpful with everything! Thank you!

Great guide, was constantly on the look out for a sign of the aurora. Found better sites to allow us great views of the northern lights.

Antonio seemed very helpful when we were inquiring about his tours so we went ahead with a booking. But 10 days after we booked him, our tour got cancelled without any explanation. He would not reply to our questions. Then we noticed his pricing became substantially higher. We had to rearrange our whole trip due to this non-responsive cancellation. A trip that we were looking forward to now became something we’re very anxious about.

really great! The auroras were out early so he offered to pick us up early to go see them. We were at the airport having just landed and he actually picked us up from there and then took us to the Airbnb at the end. We were so lucky to see the lights and he offered to take pics and kept the van nice and warm for us to go in and out. Would recommend:)

Fantastic experience with Mr. Antonio. I've learned so much about the Aurora Lights phenomenon. He definitely is a very knowledgeable young gentleman. Besides all that, he brought us a hot tea and nice cookies. His vehicle is well maintained, very clean and warm inside :). He is a very safe driver as well.

The night during our tour was quite cloudy so we just saw a little bit northern lights. However, Antonio is every experienced guide. Besides being professional, he is also warmhearted. He helped haul a car out of snow, and also helped another car jumpstart during our tour. Highly recommend him.

This aurora chasing tour was awesome! We saw the northern lights with the help of our driver/tour guide who knew a lot about fairbanks and the aurora. We felt VVIP and safe all the time considering this is cheaper compared to other tour operators. Will def book this again if in Fairbanks and def recommend this to other aurora seekers! Good luck! Antonio (guide) had prepared hot tea for us, set up a mini lounge with portable heaters while watching the northers ligths. If it got too cold for you, you could go inside the SUV (heater is ON) while watching the lights. Bonus: we ended up around 330am, he did a Mc Donalds drive thru for us. We used a big 4x4 Silverado vehicle. Guide was using an app where we can easily see the northern lights.

It was a night with clouds. The guide was fantastic. He picked up cookies and coffee for the experience. Smooth and safe driving. Unfortunately did not see the lights but sighted baby moose. We did the hot springs tour with the same guide and it was fantastic.

The only downside was the size of the vehicle - for four full sized adults plus the driver in an impala, it was a tight squeeze. But we saw the Aurora almost as soon as we arrived, and Antonio was great at helping with photos for all of us.

Antonio was a great host!! But we didn’t get to see the Aurora. He starts his tour at 1230 am and doesn’t go by the Aurora tracker. We got there 2 hours late to see them. The next day we got to track it and got another tour to take us out to see them an hour before the Aurora was visible!! I had an amazing time seeing them as we tracked them with the app the other tour showed us.., Antonio should learn to track them before he books so that his Guests can get their money worth….

Tour guide was patient and kind. We stayed out for a few hours waiting for the Aurora's to show up and unfortunately we didn't have any luck. But tour guide was personable and allowed me to wait for the Aurora's in the nice toast vehicle. Highly recommend and was a person experience not a tourist trap.
